Chapter 1361 An uninvited guest

"Congratulations, you have two healthy boys," Master Zhou congratulated Yu Dong as he handed the eldest born to her. Yu Dong looked down in her arms and was surprised to find no lotus cinnabar on his forehead. This boy was not a mer son but a son!

"We …We have heirs now!" Chen Mi gasped as he looked at the small bundle of hope and faith that Yu Dong was carrying in her arms. Her words brought a smile to Shen Li's face, heavens knew how worried he was when he heard that the children were boys. He thought that he had given birth to two mer sons, fortunately, they were not mer sons but sons.

Yu Dong caressed Shen Li with a smile on her face.

"Thank you for your help, Master Zhou," Grandma Yu handed a red envelope filled with ten taels to Master Zhou who took it with a wide smile on his face. He was glad that the Yu family came to look for him. This way he was able to earn a rather big sum of money.

"Ahaha, thank you so much," Grandma Yu was filled with giddiness when she heard Master Zhou's words that were filled with blessing. Her eyes danced with joy as she turned her attention to Yu Tong. She said to her, "Go and distribute the candies to the children in the village." She paused and added, "Take Madam Cui and the rest on a small tour of the village.

Let them decide which land they want to buy."

Yu Tong nodded as she hurried down to the kitchen from where she picked up the bag of candies and headed out of the room.

While inside the room, Yu Dong stood up from the bed and handed a large red packet filled with candies and money to Fifth Master Cui.

"Thank you for your help, I heard from my husbands that you were of great help to them," Yu Dong said as she offered the gift packet to Fiftj Master Cui, who wanted to refuse but she said to him, "It is all thanks to your nourishing soup that my husband was able to recover despite bleeding so much. I am grateful for it, please do not refuse me."

When Fifth Master Cui heard her words, he did not refuse her anymore.

"Then..Then I will take it," Fifth Master Cui said as he took the envelope from Yu Dong. When Yu Dong saw his nervous expression, she simply smiled at him and did not say anything more as she did not wish to scare the poor mer anymore.

She then turned her attention back to Shen Li while Fifth Master Cui took his leave and went outside. As soon as he stepped out of the house, and walked toward the rest of the mers of the Cui family, he questioned, "Where is my wife and the rest?" He looked around the courtyard but did not see them.

Elder Master Cui who was served the Mango sago drink by Mammy Lin, turned to look at him while munching on his sago pearls. He answered, "They went to take a look at the fields that are available at the moment. By the way, what are you holding?"
