Soon they crossed the barren lands and arrived at the Big River Town, they had expected to see the same situation as the City of Fu but to their surprise it wasn't the same. The Big River Town was filled with a bustling crowd and everyone on the street looked flushed and ruddy.

Not one of the citizens looked like they were suffering.

"This…" Madam Cui stared at the smiling people of the Big River Town and turned to look at Song Yixu who smiled at her. She said, "This is all thanks to Madam Yu. She opened a mall that is accessible to everyone in the town. It doesn't matter if it's an official or a commoner they can walk inside the mall and purchase anything that they want."

She then relayed everything to Madam Cui who was simply in awe. She did hear Song Yixu say these things before but she did not believe them as Madam Cui thought it was impossible. But now that she had seen the conditions of the citizens, she had to admit that maybe this woman named Yu Dong was really skilled.

"Here it is," Song Yixu pointed to the gigantic building that had three floors each. Madam Cui turned to look at the building with a surprised look on her face as she did not expect something like this to pop up. More importantly, the rush of the people in the building was simply crazy. It was as if wave after wave of humans were rushing inside and out.

"You can buy anything here, it does not matter whether it's meat or vegetable. Even water is sold in small flasks at a very cheap price and sometimes Miss Yu holds a special event where the commoners can take water from the mall for free," Song Yixu explained everything to Madam Cui but the more Madam Cui listened, the more she thought that it was simply absurd.

How was this woman even doing something like this? Was she not afraid of running out of water?

Song Yixu was aware of the thoughts that were going on inside her master's head. She said to her, "Madam Yu is a very talented individual, she knew that drought was coming and she warned everyone in the village to dig wells along with the other villages as well. This is why she doesn't have to worry about running out of water."

Madam Cui couldn't help but question, "Is she a prophet?"

When Song Yixu heard her question, she couldn't help but laugh. She shook her head and then said to Madam Cui, "Of course not, she is not a prophet. Madam Yu just has a keen eye, she keeps track of the change in the wind and can deduce what is coming."

Of course, Song Yixu thought that there was something weird with Yu Dong but she couldn't let Madam Cui doubt her. Yu Dong was not a threat to them instead she was a good person who always helped those who helped her.

She was the reason why this town was flourishing and had not fallen into despair yet. If not for her what would have happened to them?

Madam Cui also sensed that Song Yixu was protective of Yu Dong. She no longer questioned her and waited for the Big River Village to appear.

Fortunately, the town and the village were not far from one another, thus it did not take long for Madam Cui and the rest to arrive at the Big River Village. When they arrived at the village, Madam Cui and the rest of the Cui family felt their eyes pop.

The village was flourishing even more than the town. Lush green grass swayed in the summer breeze, and greenhouses with farmers working inside them stood tall.

A few of the greenhouses had a weird red fruit growing while the other ones had a blue one. The rest of the greenhouse had normal crops growing inside them, even the rice paddies were secured.

Madam Cui turned to look at Song Yixu who smiled back at her before turning to look at the villagers who were drawing drinking water from the well. They were not being stopped by anyone and could take buckets of water from the well!

Madam Cui's gaze was fixed on the water bucket and her eyes did not move away from it even when they drove away.

"Daddy, I want to drink water!" Second Master Cui's young son pointed at the well and exclaimed. Wanting to drink a big gulp of water, when Second Master Cui heard his son's request, he patted him on the back and said to him, "Just a little more little Huang. We will bring you to a nice place where you can eat and drink your fill."

As he spoke he turned to look at his wife who was smiling widely. One could see how excited she was, these three days they were worried that Song Yixu was bringing them to a suspicious place. Who would have thought that she was speaking the truth?

This village really had water and food!

The carriages drove past the paths that wove through the village before coming to a stop in front of a manor that was even bigger than the ones in the City of Fu.

"We are here," Song Yixu told Madam Cui who nodded and then stepped out first as she looked at the large doors that were closed with two mammies standing on each side.
