Chapter 507 Shane's New Gear

Chapter 507 Shane's New Gear

In Sector 17, the region above Sector 18, Lesley couldn't help but feel motivated. She had also reached level 50 and could now challenge as Lord Tier Zombie if she was able to form a team.

However, in the Overlord Clan where she belongs, there was only her and Lancelot that was over Level 50. She was worried that even with her Petrifying Gaze, they would get into trouble. After all, even Shane had to spend about an hour to kill one.

She watched Shane's recorded battles before and she knew just how resourceful and powerful he was. He had so many items he could use to ramp up his strength and he also had special Survivor Skills that could make him a formidable Survivor.

Anyway, realizing that Travis and the others seemed to have incredible information-gathering abilities, she immediately consulted Alexander before she started chatting again.

[ Lesley: Remember those old rumors about Sector 17? Supposedly, there's a hidden lab there that worked on the original virus. Might have clues about its origins. Does anyone have information about it? I can pay if you want. ]

Sector 17 was huge. There were seven cities and hundreds of small settlements around. It would be quite difficult to find this hidden lab if others wanted to explore it.

Of course, her Overlord Clan was already fully aware of it but they were still unprepared to explore it. They didn't even dare to settle close to it because of how dangerous that place was.

"Hmmm…"

There were several replies from her chat but she didn't find anything interesting. However, after a minute, a reply from a reliable person appeared.

[ Travis: Yeah, but the area's crawling with Mutant Insect Zombies. They're like tanks with legs—and way too many teeth. Be careful… You only have one life but I can use my Avatars multiple times. ]

It was no wonder Travis was so informed of the things happening around the world. It seemed that he had sent multiple Avatars to explore the world, allowing him to create the best information network out there.

[ Ava: Ugh, don't remind me. I still have nightmares about the time I fought one. Almost lost a leg. I already left Sector 17 and joined the Shadowbinders Clan… Don't go to that place. ]

[ Raze: So, Sector 18 for pharma stuff, and Sector 17 for that laboratory with virus origins? What about treasure? Any leads on high-value loot? ]

[ Travis: Sector 20 is still the best… You can surely find all that stuff there. I'm sure everyone's aware of it already. However, don't think about going to that place without a large team of powerful Survivors or you'll be eaten by those freakish Infant Zombies. They were most active at night. ]

Lesley was still unsatisfied with it as she was looking for some specific information that could help her. Anyway, she still continued the chat but didn't find any. They even changed the topic immediately.

[ Casper: Guys… Is the Vampire still out there? I'm thinking of buying some silver weapons and other stuff just in case. Well, our Clan Leader is advising us to do so… Thoughts? ]

[ Jenna: That Vampire isn't that strong anyway, just burn them. What's more important is an old vault buried under the city where I'm at. Wish me luck… I'm told by the scavengers here that there is loaded with pre-apocalypse relics. Weapons, gold, maybe even tech. ]

[ Alexander: Careful with the Scavengers, many of them can't be trusted. Anyway, if you're in Sector 14, that area should be near the sea… Tell us if you find a ship and explore the ocean. Hehe… I'm curious if there's another island out there. ]

[ Raze: Are you thinking of escaping the next Zombie Wave by boarding a ship and sailing out there? Good luck… Anyway, has anyone else noticed that another potion maker is undercutting other sellers on the Market? Guy's got Spirit Recovery Potions for half the price of everyone else. ]

[ Ava: Right? And they're twice as effective. Pretty sure he's single-handedly putting half the alchemists out of business. He's ruthless… ]

[ Sam: Eh, I'm not complaining. His stuff's saved me more times than I can count. Besides, competition's good for us buyers. ]

[ Ava: True. I just hope he doesn't suddenly raise prices. Guy's making a killing, though. ]

[ Travis: Back on topic—anyone actually brave enough to head to Sector 20? Don't think about it unless you have a strong team like Shane. I'm just reminding everyone since once I found the cure or whatever, I don't want all my friends out there to be gone. ]

Travis was truly worried that many weak Survivors would go on a mission to explore Sector 20. Although it was being targeted by Top Ranking Survivors, it doesn't mean that everyone should think of it.

After all, he believed that a certain level and strength must be met. If they do not have the capacity to do so, it would just be a suicide mission. Travis knew that they already had a small population and he didn't want to make it even smaller.

On the other hand, while everyone was still chatting, Shane was already inspecting the items he had just obtained.
