Chapter 1460: Battling A Seventh-grade

When the squads of the East Divine Continent and the Thunderflame Divine Continent entered the minor world, numerous rays of light shot outwards, forming a gigantic screen of light that displayed what was going on within. Seeing Fang Xingyun defeat Li Luo would allow him to vent slightly and would also be beneficial for his subsequent negotiations with him.

At the Holymist Sage College's platform, Lu Ruyan had her arms crossed. This posture accentuated certain features of hers, and she relished the impending disaster Li Luo was about to face.

The six Duke Bergfrieds above him glowed with radiant light, and a hundred thousand feet of Divine Mist rushed into the sky, forming a rainbow that crashed towards Fang Xingyun.

However, his attack wasn’t even ten thousand feet away from its target when it was shattered by fiery, red sword energy.

A crimson-haired middle-aged man leading several individuals appeared in the air. This was Vice Principal Meng You from the Sacredsmoke Sage College.

"Guo Jiufeng, if you want to play, the Sacredsmoke Sage College will entertain you. Don't disturb the refined Vice Principal Fang." Meng You laughed as he wielded a red greatsword that seemed to flow with lava.  

An ugly expression appeared on Guo Jiufeng’s face when Meng You blocked his way. He knew what Fang Xingyun was planning, and it was obvious he looked at Li Luo with great importance. Thus, he had directly targeted Li Luo from the very beginning.

As long as he utilized his advantages from the start, he would be able to quickly crush Li Luo.

"A grand high-grade Duke attempting to squash a second-grade Duke from the get-go is a little demeaning, don't you think?" Guo Jiufeng shouted coldly, his voice booming like thunder so it would reach Fang Xingyun's ears. This was his attempt to provoke the opponent. The Thunderflame Divine Continent's other squads then moved into place to obstruct the rest of the squads from the East Divine Continent, including Wang Xu's squad, making it hard for them to leave to reinforce.

When the distance between the two squads was several hundred feet, Fang Xingyun stopped in his tracks and his sharp gaze locked onto Li Luo. "Guo Jiufeng spoke of you as though you were an ordinary second-grade Duke, but I don't know who is dumber, me or him. Who did the East Divine Continent rely on to reach this point? Does he really not know in his heart?"

Li Luo smiled. "Then should I be thanking you, Vice Principal Fang, for looking upon me so favorably?"

"Ten-Pillar Golden Duke Bergfrieds are truly worthy of envy." Looking at the two Ten-Pillar Golden Duke Bergfrieds oozing the aura of perfection caused Fang Xingyun to sigh lightly. After which, seven Duke Bergfrieds manifested in the air and a frightening pressure descended upon the field.

"However, I don't believe that you, a second-grade Transcendent, will be able to jump five grades to challenge me!"

When he finished speaking, Fang Xingyun's gaze surged with thunder energy. He took a step forward and transformed into a bolt of thunder, splitting the void and swiftly appearing before Li Luo.
