Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 545 544: Vomit

Chapter 545 544: Vomit

'This has to be the creepiest Power in this damn crazy dimension. Why would you come out from a freaking black pot?'

Corey resisted the urge to curse out loud as he stared at the emergence of the Power from the black pot.

As the snow-white hand emerged from the pot, its fingers moved, and for a moment, it looked like the hand was looking for something to grab onto.

The hand clenched and unclenched a few times, and then with his Ears of Omniscience, Corey heard a strange sound that contained frustration and a tinge of anger. The sound came from inside the pot, and Corey narrowed his eyes when he saw this.

He turned and stared at Old Man Poison, and then he gestured at the black pot which had a snow-white hand protruding out of it.

"Should we attack it?"

Although Corey had his own thoughts on the pot and the hand, out of respect for his Master, he decided to ask him for his own opinion. If his Master was not here, he would have acted out on the plans he had in his mind.

Old Man Poison glanced at him with raised brows for a solid three seconds, and then he pointed at the black pot, "You want to attack that without knowing what it is? What if you attack it and it triggers a more dangerous situation?"

"Look at it, it's clear that whatever that hand is, it's struggling to get out of the pot. Imagine if your attack breaks the pot and the being inside can escape the pot because of your actions. What will you do then?"

Corey's lips twitched as he faced his Master's scolding. He inhaled lightly, and then he shifted his gaze to the black pot which still had a single hand protruding from it.

"I don't know if you can sense it, but that hand is emitting the aura of a Power."

"A Power?" Old Man Poison stared at him with furrowed brows.

Corey nodded, "Yes, a Power. A Power is an abomination that's equivalent-"

"I know what a Power is, my dear useless disciple." Old Man Poison ruthlessly cut off Corey's words, and Corey could not help but twitch his lips.

Without caring about Corey's reaction, he narrowed his eyes further as he gazed at Corey with a deadly serious gaze.

"My question and what I'm bothered about is why the fuck you came to this place that has an abomination at the level of a Power. From your reaction and behaviour, it's obvious you expected this."

"Why did you come here, my dear foolish, useless, and unfilial disciple?"

Corey found himself sweating under his Master's intense gaze, and he could not help but uncomfortably shift his gaze towards the black pot.

Seeing that there was no change to the hand and black pot, he relaxed slightly.

"Will you believe me if I said that I was tempted by the possibility of there being a fragment of the Power of the Old Ones in this place?"

Old Man Poison scoffed, "Then I have to go back to the past and slap myself for even thinking of accepting you as a disciple."

Corey wryly smiled.

"Now you're here, and there is no sign of any fragment of the Power of the Old Ones. Or you want to tell me that this fragment is in that pot which has a Power in it?"

Corey smiled uncomfortably with a drop of sweat dripping down the side of his face. When Old Man Poison saw Corey's expression, a vein popped in his forehead, and without hesitation, he smacked Corey's head with his staff.

Smack!

Corey held his swollen head, and with a wry chuckle, he rubbed his head.

Old Man Poison held his staff with his two hands, and then he pointed it at Corey. "Before I say any other thing, what is your plan now?"

Corey scratched the side of his head with more sweat dripping from his forehead, "I planned on winging it."

"..."

Old Man Poison stared at Corey for a seemingly long time, and after using all his willpower to stop himself from beating Corey black and blue.

He inhaled and exhaled deeply, and without hesitation, he turned around and started walking away.

"We're leaving."

"But-"

"I said we're leaving. It's very foolish of you to even think of coming here without a concrete plan. We can come back here after I've inserted some wisdom into your rather non-functional brain."

Corey's left eye twitched, and then he sighed. "I don't think we can leave at the moment."

Old Man Poison paused, and then he glanced at Corey. "Why?"

Corey raised a finger, "One because leaving this space is not as easy as it was to enter."

Old Man Poison raised his brows with a strange expression.

He raised a second finger, "Two because two hands are coming out of the pot now."

"What?" Old Man Poison snapped his head towards the black pot, and just like Corey said, there were two hands that were protruding out of the black pot. However, unlike the right hand which was snow white, the left hand was completely black and visible dark crimson veins could be seen running through the hand.

"Damn you, you unfilial and foolish disciple. How dare you put me in such a situation like this?"

'I'm sorry Master, but it isn't totally my fault. It's either I face a Power in this dimension of madness and chaos to obtain an Infinity Crystal or I face a Tribulation of Hell which would make me wish I was dead if I fail to pass the Tribulation… I have no choice.'

Corey decided in his heart that he'd make it up to his Master for dragging him into a potential fight with a Power, and just as he had this thought, the two hands held onto the mouth of the black pot.

To Corey's surprise, the pot trembled and moved slightly due to the immense pressure the hands were placing on the pot as the being that possessed these two hands struggled to push itself out of the black pot.

After what seemed like a long time but was really just fifteen seconds, the being that was in the pot revealed itself.

The moment it did, Old Man Poison, Melissa, and even Corey vomited the instant they laid their eyes on the abomination that had struggled to leave the black pot.
