She Belongs To The Devil

Chapter 777 Accidental Travel

Chapter 777 Accidental Travel

Theodore had barely lifted himself in the air when Irene also flapped out her wings and followed after her brother.

She overtook Theodore and spread out her huge wings in order to block his way. "Brother!" she shouted in an attempt to wake him up from his bloodthirsty rage.

However, Theodore was too mad to listen to anyone. "Step aside, Irene. This is a fight between Michael and me. You don't want to be involved in this."

Irene didn't back down though. "Brother, you are better than Michael. I know he tried to hurt Ariel, but I bet he already paid the price if our father was here because he was too worried about Ariel. You do know that he rarely interferes with any of our matters, unless absolutely necessary."

Theodore scoffed and shook his head. "You think he did something to Michael? If he wanted... No. If he could keep Michael in check then he would have done that a long time ago."

"So, I am going to deal with Michael my own way." He clenched his fist and asked Irene while controlling the sharpness of his voice, "Let me go, Irene. I don't want to project the anger that I am feeling towards him on you."

Irene couldn't keep on arguing with Theodore. She wanted to say a lot of things to him in order to stop him. But she couldn't bring herself to actually say those words to her brother, especially because she had just met him after years.

Thankfully enough, Ariel and Adeline also joined Irene and surrounded Theodore in the air. They didn't want Theodore to do something stupid in his blind rage and get punished for it later.

Adeline was especially aware of what Theodore was capable of doing in his rage, and also what her father-in-law was capable of doing in the name of punishment.

"Theo, I know you are angry right now." Adeline flew close to her husband and gently took his hand in hers. "But doing something in retaliation isn't what you want to do right now. Let's think this through, and ask Mother to reprimand Michael."

Theodore closed his eyes which had turned red by now.

And he spoke in a guttural voice, "Reprimanding him wouldn't have brought our daughter back if he had succeeded in ki… harming her! And where's mother? She isn't here for some reason. Something must have happened up there in the Heaven realm. I'm going to find everything out. So, let me go."

Adeline shook her head and was about to say something when Theodore swiftly pulled his hand away from Adeline's grip. And before anyone else could say something to him, he disappeared into thin air.

Theodore had teleported somewhere in the middle of the sky. From there, he flapped his wings so hard that all the clouds around him dissolved or got blown away by the pressure of the air. And he began to fly towards the portal between the realms at the top of his speed.

"Dad!" Ariel was the first one to come after Theodore.

She flew alongside Theodore and shouted while looking at him, "Please, stop this madness! I am alive and well, aren't I? And like Aunt Irene said, grandpa must have already punished Uncle. So please, let's go back without creating a scene."

"I am not going back unless I inflict the same wounds on him as he did on you," Theodore growled and picked up his pace further.

Ariel thought that he was talking about hurting Tobias. So she quickly caught up to her father and said, "Dad, Tobias isn't at fault here. You know he gave me the pills before he hurt me. And he did that only because–"

"I know." Theodore set his eyes at the portal that was now visible to him. "I was talking about Michael. He was the one who used his son as a shield."

"Dad…" Ariel sighed in frustration at how her father was behaving like an unruly teenager. She narrowed her wings and picked up the pace so that she could go and stand ahead of her father.

"Ariel, slow down!" Theodore warned her because she was getting too close to the portal.

Ariel wasn't aware of the portals that were right ahead of her. And without even realizing it, she happened to pass through it.

"No!" Theodore felt a chill shiver in his heart when his daughter disappeared right before his eyes.

He also shot himself forward so that he could also enter the Heaven realm. However, he couldn't pass through the portal no matter how many times he tried.

"What have I done!" Theodore ran his fingers through his hair in frustration and screamed as if his voice would reach the other realm, "Ariel! Get back here! Ariel!"

Adeline and Irene finally caught up with Theodore now that he wasn't flying anymore.

"Theo? W-Where's our daughter?" Adeline asked him with a worried look on her face upon seeing how Theodore looked like something bad had just happened.

Theodore pulled his hair and screamed at the top of his lungs. "She entered the portal! And I didn't…"

He would have prayed to his father or mother and asked them to let him enter the other realm. However, he didn't have enough patience in him to join his hands and concentrate at the moment.

"And she isn't coming back…" Theodore whined in agony, already thinking that something worse had happened to Ariel.

Irene instantly stepped forwards and offered, "Then I will go and fetch Ariel real quick. Just wait here."

"Yes, please. Thank you so much." Theodore gulped and sighed in relief.

Irene immediately flew through the portal.

Theodore and Adeline hovered side by side in the air, impatiently waiting for Irene to come back with Ariel.

Irene had hoped that Ariel would be right on the other side of the portal, wondering how to get back to the Earth realm again.

However, unlike what she had thought, Ariel was nowhere to be seen.

"No, no, no…" Irene took a deep breath in and gulped. And she mumbled to herself, "Please don't tell me that Michael kidnapped her the moment she came here."
