Chapter 754 Young Aunt
Chapter 754 Young Aunt
"You don't hate me for not coming to see you sooner?"
Theodore's smile narrowed when he heard that question from Irene. He heaved a sigh and truthfully replied, "I didn't hate you. But I was sad that none of my siblings ever thought of checking up on me after I fell down to Earth."
"I am so sorry, brother." Irene couldn't stop herself from embracing her brother anymore.
She tightened her grip around Theodore and said, "Initially, I was too afraid to disobey our father. I thought that I would come and visit you when our father's anger calmed down a bit. But I didn't realize that days would turn into months, and months would turn into centuries. By the time things calmed down, I couldn't come knocking on your door because too much time had passed.
And I thought that you already hated me for going out of touch for so long."
"Why would you even think that? I would never hate you." Theodore lovingly patted Irene's back. He was at least glad that she decided to show up now, even though it was thousands and thousands of years later.
"You should have come to visit me sooner though," Theodore said after pulling away from the hug. "I assume that you know I have a lovely wife and a beautiful daughter now. They both would have loved you."
Irene excitedly smiled and asked, "Can I meet them both? Ariel is here somewhere, right? I really wanted to see her and talk with her." She stole a quick glance at her mother and said, "And our mother brought me here to introduce me to her. But then we saw her ki– I mean… Er… We didn't get to meet her since she was busy."
"Ah! Sure, why not? I will introduce you to both of my precious ones." Theodore smiled at his sister and quickly looked at his mother. And he asked her, "By any chance, were you the one who was in the dining hall earlier? Ariel was saying that she saw someone's strong aura."
The Goddess braced herself for Theodore's reaction first and then only answered him, "No, it wasn't me. The barrier was down for a while. And Michael sneaked in like a thief."
"Michael? Of course, it was him!" Theodore scoffed in disbelief and clenched his fists. "Why would he miss a chance to provoke me?"
"Is he still here?" Theodore asked again with the intention of finding him and beating him to a pulp if he was still roaming somewhere nearby.
The Goddess gently held Theodore's fist and made him open his palm. And she said to Theodore, "Don't spoil your mood because of him. You are meeting Irene after a long time. Why don't you two catch up first? Michael is already back in the Heaven realm. I will go and have a quick chat with him."
"Please make sure that he doesn't bother my daughter again." Theodore held his mother by her wrist and openly expressed his intention, "Else I will tear up the portal and go to the Heaven realm just so I can drag his arse down here and bury him where even our father wouldn't find him."
His mother gave a mirthless smile to him. No matter how much she didn't like what Michael had done earlier, he was still her son. And she didn't want to see two of her sons fighting each other.
However, she also couldn't keep on turning the blind eye to the things that Michael did.
So, she nodded to Theodore and said, "I will reprimand him for what he did. He doesn't have any right to interfere in Ariel's life."
Theodore couldn't agree more.
After getting a nod from Theodore, the Goddess went to the Heavenly Palace to find Michael.
Theodore took a deep breath in and tried to forget about Michael so that he could focus on his sister.
"So, what made you change your mind now? About meeting me again?" Theodore asked as he led Irene out of that dark corner and into a well-lit corridor.
And though Irene's face was glowing from the reflection of the torches, her expression made her look very dull and sad. "Sadly, it was Michael who changed my mind. And Nathaniel."
A deep frown line instantly appeared in between Theodore's brows. He turned his head to look at Irene and then asked, "What did they tell you? Tell me everything."

Ariel and all the others were silently waiting for Theodore to show up again. They wanted to know if he had found anyone suspicious. And they also wanted to know if they were in any kind of danger from someone powerful.
After about half an hour or so, they all saw a cloud of dark mist forming inside the room.
They all were instantly on their guard when they noticed that Theodore wasn't alone.
"Er… hello, everyone!" Irene awkwardly but sweetly waved her hands to everyone present in the room.
And Ariel and all the others immediately lost their stiffness upon seeing a sweet and extremely gorgeous woman greeting them.
Theodore then pointed his palm at Irene and introduced her to the confused youngsters, "Everyone, meet my youngest and dearest sister, Irene."
Everyone was surprised to know that Theodore also had a sister.
And Ariel was the most surprised because her father had never mentioned anything about someone named Irene. "She's your sister?" Ariel raised her brows and further emphasized, "Your own sister?"
Theodore smiled and nodded. "Yes, my own sister. Won't you greet your aunt properly?"
"Oh, I'm sorry. I was still in shock since this is the first time I am hearing about my aunt." Ariel glanced at Irene and gave her a wide smile. Then she gave a respectful bow and added, "Please excuse me for my rudeness."
"There's no need to be sorry, Ariel." Irene was surprised at how well-spoken and well-behaved Ariel was. "If someone is sorry then it's me. I waited until my niece grew up to finally come and meet her."
"No, it's fine. I am happy that you are here." Ariel kept on glancing at Irene with a wide smile on her face. And before it got awkward, she spoke what was in her mind, "I still can't believe my aunt can pass as my elder sister."
