She Belongs To The Devil

Chapter 752 New Information

Chapter 752 New Information

For the whole day, Michael tried his best to focus his attention on something else. He tried focusing on the heavenly affairs, he tried to talk with the angels who worked under him so as to distract himself, and he even tried sleeping.

However, no matter how much he tried to think of anything but Ariel, Michael could only think about her and her only.

"What if I miss something while I am sleeping here?" Michael abruptly got up from the bed and asked himself.

He clasped his fists together and tried to convince himself otherwise, "But I cannot keep on spying on her forever! I have my own life here. I already know that she is nothing in front of me. She's just a child who was born yesterday. I need to accept that she isn't a threat to my position."

But his own words felt like a baseless consolation to him. "What if I haven't seen everything there is to see? What if I missed something?"

"Ugh! Let's just go and see what she is up to right now," Michael was finally defeated by his urge to go back to Earth and spy on Ariel.

He swiftly flapped out his wings and headed for Earth, but not before making himself invisible.

After arriving on Earth, Michael took some time to locate Ariel. And once he did find her, he walked inside the castle and stopped a few meters away from the central point of Ariel's aura.

At the moment, all he could see was a faint aura of Ariel and not her. But for some reason, just looking at that faint aura provided a sense of comfort to him.

It was almost as if that light blue aura was his new obsession.

For a while, Michael kept on loitering outside the tower where Ariel was going to stay at. Suddenly, his eyes widened with realization.

"There's no barrier!" he almost exclaimed out loud when he accidentally crossed the safe distance that he needed to maintain if he didn't want to get thrown away by the barrier.

Just to be sure, Michael took a step closer to Ariel's aura. Nothing happened. He then took another step. Again, nothing bad happened to him.

A smirk appeared on Michael's lips.

"I was right to come here," he thought to himself and followed the trail of that light blue aura.

That aura led Michael in front of a closed door. Michael stopped in front of the door and sighed in disappointment because even though the barrier was down, the door was stopping him from seeing Ariel up close. He still had some morale left in him that stopped him from entering a young lady's room.

He thought of waiting by the door in the hopes of seeing Ariel. But something suddenly caught his attention. He not only saw the light blue aura seeping out of the cracks of the door but also the ash-grey aura.

He knitted his brows together and thought, "Isn't that… Doesn't this one belong to that demon that is always around Ariel? The son of Lilith? What's he doing inside?"

And as though on cue, he heard Ariel and Damien talking to each other in panic.

"Dame… What are we going to do? Osanna saw us!"

"I don't know! I think… we should keep on pretending as if nothing happened whenever we see her?"

There was silence for a while. And Michael asked himself with curiosity, "What did they do? Did they fight someone? Did Ariel display her power when I wasn't here?"

He heard Ariel again, "What if Osanna tells my mom? And mom won't keep anything from dad. What if my dad gets angry at us when he finds out?"

And Michael screamed in his head again, "Find what out? What did you do, Ariel?"

Instead of Ariel, he heard Damien's voice. And what he heard next almost gave the shock of his life.

"I don't think your father will get angry even if he finds out about us. I already told him that I wanted to marry you."

"What? When? How? I mean… when did you say that to my dad?" Ariel sounded as shocked as Michael.

"When we went to the cave with Kenneth."

"And what did my dad say? He didn't try to… I don't know… Maybe strangle you or do something to scare you?"

Damien's laughter resounded throughout the gallery. "No. He simply said that we both have all the time in the world and that there's no need to rush it."

"Oh my goodness! Really?"

"Yes. You know I can't lie to you."

"I can't believe that my dad actually said that! Wait! I can't believe that YOU said that! How can you say that you want to marry me to my dad first? Why am I hearing this after him?" Your next read awaits at empire

"I guess, I wanted to get an informal approval from him. And guess what? Your father even asked me if I would like to stay at a guest quarter in the Palace."

"That's... that's very kind of him..."

After that, Michael was barely able to focus on the conversation that was going on inside the room. He was too stunned to focus. This new information that he got was too much for him to process.

He leaned on the wall of the hallway and thought to himself, "Theodore is okay with his daughter marrying Lilith's son? I thought Lilith hated Theodore as well."

Michael kept on pondering upon that matter. At first, he seemed a little troubled by his new discovery about Ariel. But then, after a while, he thought that this was one of his best days.

He smiled ear to ear and thought, "It's good for me as well if she marries that demon. I'm sure that our father wouldn't want someone who fell for a demon to rule this universe. And what more? She might even go and live in Hell. The doors of Heaven will forever be shut for her if she decides to live there."

Michael even pumped his fist in the air like a child. He was in full support of the couple. He hoped that Damien and Ariel would get married soon, and also that Damien would take Ariel to live in the Hell realm.

After a while, Michael saw a young woman at the end of the hallway. For a split second, Michael felt as though he had seen that woman somewhere before.

That woman knocked on Ariel's door and called her, "Ary, are you ready yet? If you are then come outside. We are ready for dinner."

"Joy, yes! I'm coming," Ariel replied from behind the door.

"Ah! She's Ariel's cousin," Michael thought to himself.

Joyce then repeated the same thing after stopping in front of the other two doors. She called the other ladies to come outside for dinner.

Michael eagerly waited for Ariel to come outside. He wanted to take one good glance at her before leaving for Heaven.

Soon enough, a beautiful young lady who looked like a living image of Theodore stepped out of the room and locked the door behind her.

This was the first time Michael was seeing Ariel up close. And he thought to himself as his eyes were glued on her, "If only my father didn't give you two abilities, then maybe I would have loved to invite you to Heaven sometimes."

Michael watched Ariel walking away with the other three young ladies.

And when the ladies reached far enough, Michael prepared himself to soar towards the Heaven realm.

However, right when he was about to do so, he witnessed something that he shouldn't have.

The wooden torch that was hung on the wall to brighten up the hallway suddenly dropped on a lady who was wearing a long purple gown. The silk gown instantly caught on fire and the flames almost immediately engulfed that lady.

Before that lady could scream in panic, Ariel swirled her left hand and collected those flames on her palm. In the next second, she sealed that fire with an air bubble. And the flames soon died down because of the lack of air inside that bubble.

Michael's cheerful face suddenly turned gloomy after he witnessed everything that unfolded in front of his eyes.

"She can control fire and air! Not just earth and water…" That realization bruised Michael's pride so badly that he felt like flooding the Earth.

His face became so red with anger that if anyone could see him at the moment, they would think that he was about to burst.
