Primordial Draconic Incubus With A Gourmet Chef System

Chapter 130 Belieth Smells Hellfire

Chapter 130 Belieth Smells Hellfire

With the Titan Drunken Blood Monkey's name settled, Lucian wanted to set his focus back to the System's explanation of how to create Mana Soil. He stood up and looked at Lily, "Lily, if you need something, wake me up. I'm going to take a small rest until the filet mignons are ready."

Lily nodded, "Okay, Big Brother Lucian, have a good rest. Lily will go back to playing with Osiris!"

Lucian then lay down on the grass, not too far away from them, and closed his eyes.

[Host, are you sure you don't want to tell Lily about my existence?] The System said all of a sudden in a questioning tone.

[…I will tell her when I'm ready.] Lucian said after a moment of hesitation, then continued indifferently, [Anyway, continue with the explanation.]

The System complied and started explaining from where it last stopped. It explained in detail the process of creating Mana Soil and emphasizing the importance of precise Runic Formations.

Soon, as the System finished its explanation, despite not feeling the need to sleep, he found himself soothed by the peaceful ambiance and the melodic giggles from Lily. His eyes grew heavy as he looked at Lily, teaching Osiris how to speak with a smile. Before he knew it he soundly fell asleep.

Time passed by, and after slightly over an hour, a beeping sound suddenly echoed in Lucian's mind, waking him up from his nap.

[Host, the filet mignons are a minute away from being ready.] The System reminded him.

[Alright,] Lucian yawned, stretched his muscles, and stood up. He looked over at Lily, who was still teaching Osiris the language of this world — Arcadian.

"Osiris raise your right hand," Lily said.

Osiris thought for a moment and hesitantly raised his right leg.

"Close but it's not right." Instead of being disappointed, Lily smiled excitedly, compared to before, Osiris was doing great. "It's still progress. Let's do it again."

Osiris nodded his head obediently. Due to the size difference between the two, it was quite comical.

"Lily, the filet mignons are ready. Do you want to come with me? If not, you can continue playing with Osiris." Lucian asked before Lily could continue teaching Osiris.

"Lily wants to go with Big Brother Lucian, but Osiris will be lonely," Lily said with downcast eyes. "Does Big Brother Lucian not have a method to hide Osiris' Mage Rank in the outside world?"

Lucian shook his head. "I don't… maybe in the future, I might have a method. But, right now, it would be too dangerous to let him leave the Spatial Farm."

Lily sighed, but she had hope in her Big Brother Lucian. After pondering for a moment, she cheerfully said, "Lily will stay here and continue playing with Osiris."

Lucian nodded, then said to the System, [Send me back.]

His figure instantly vanished from the Spatial Farm, reappearing in the dining area. Just like before he and Lily had left, they were sitting at a table.

With one final glance at Lily's appearance, who looked as though she was sleeping with her head resting on her hands on the table, he entered the kitchen, washed his hands, and dried them with a towel.

By this time, the filet mignons were cooked to a perfect medium-rare. He patted them dry, then at the same time seared them in separate pans. As a competent chef, multitasking was easy for him.

After all the sides were beautifully seared to a golden brown, he set them aside on a clean chopping to let them rest.

Next, he began preparing the pan sauce. Before he had entered the Spatial Farm, he had already prepped the ingredients; therefore, the pan sauce for both steaks had been reduced to a perfectly viscous state in no time.

After the pan sauces were done, Lucian poured them into separate ramekins, swiftly cut the steaks into eight even pieces, and then plated the dish.

He walked out of the kitchen, holding two plates of Sous Vide Filet Mignon, and put them on the table where Garm and Albert previously sat.

*Knock* *knock*

Just then, the entrance door was knocked on.

Instead of immediately opening the door, Lucian walked over to Lily and picked her up in a princess carry. He then walked back into the kitchen and frowned.

[System, I'd like to buy a pink bed.]

<{Processing request…}>

<{1495 Gold Coins ? 1494 Gold Coins}>

<{Purchase Complete}>

Immediately as Lucian read the last System Notification, a beautiful pink bed appeared in a corner of the kitchen. After a quick glance at the bed, Lucian placed Lily's body on it and covered her with the soft blanket.

Only after doing that, Lucian walked to the entrance and opened the door, revealing two familiar figures.

"Welcome." Lucian greeted Garm and Albert indifferently, then pointed at plates of food. "Your dishes are over there. It is getting late, so I hope you can finish eating and leave."

The corners of Garm and Albert's lips twitched, but their focus swiftly shifted to the aroma of the meat.

"It smells even better than the Siren's Melody Poached Egg." Garm eyes immediately lit up as he inhaled the the fragrance wafting from the dishes. Without his knowledge, drool seeped from his lips.

Lucian frowned in disgust when he saw the droplets of saliva about to fall on his pristine floor.

'If that fatty's saliva falls on the floor, he better clean it up, or he's blacklisted from my restaurant.'

However, before the saliva could hit the floor, a portal appeared directly below it, catching the droplets and making them disappear.

Lucian glanced at Albert and nodded, who in turn returned the nod with a professional smile. As his Master's most loyal servant, he was well-versed with his … eccentricities. Therefore, he was always prepared to act so that his Master's reputation and dignity were not tarnished.

[Hellfire!] Upon smelling the familiar scent, Belieth screamed in shock and joy. [Why does this Sovereign smell Hellfire? Just who is this Lucian?]
