Infinite Paths: The Raging Phoenix

Chapter 653 Masterpiece

Chapter 653 Masterpiece

While Rain was thinking of that, it seemed that Jori and Reca had other thoughts in their mind. Reca jumped a bit and then landed at the top of an iceberg in front of Jori while he moved his sword to the side and then began to harness his energy on the blade.

"What is he doing?" Seara frowned. "He is wide open, isn't he?"

"He is using his wife as a shield, or maybe she forced him to do so," Rain said. "Anyway, I will make fun of him for a while because of that."

The dragon began to turn around and then Reca lowered her instance… it seemed that she wanted to stop the dragons and buy enough time for Jori to use his technique, but it seemed the same as the other he showed, just a bit more concentrated in a single attack.

"I guess I should level up the swordsman path a few times, that technique is quite cool," Rain thought.

Eventually, the ice dragon turned around and then flew in a straight line toward Jori and Reca… the creature could cross more than five hundred meters per second despite it's size… so all that charge added with the weight of the monster will make Reca endure quite the impact, but she didn't hesitate in using Impulse toward the monster.

Reca's impulse showed an extraordinary display of power, enough to shatter a colossal thirty-meter-long iceberg into countless fragments. With an incredible release of energy, she poured everything she had into that single devastating step. Her expertise in such overwhelming feats was evident, but even her considerable strength couldn't entirely halt the advancing ice dragon.

The impact of her spear against the dragon's face was insane. The ice armor that encased the creature's head fractured and splintered, creating a network of cracks across its surface. The beast slowed down, hindered by the force of the impact, but it still possessed enough momentum to push Reca backward.

The sheer power of the ice dragon was an undeniable force to be reckoned with, and Reca's incredible feat had only momentarily impeded its advance.

Rain could clearly see the bones in Reca arms breaking and soon ice spikes emerged from the face of the dragon to impale her, but she jumped with all her might and avoided them.

In the next moment, Jori swung his sword sideways and fired a massive blast of energy toward the face of the dragon… the creature didn't have time to dodge it.

A brilliant blast of energy erupted from Jori's sword, aimed with precision and power. The searing energy struck the unprotected face of the ice dragon with incredible force, creating an immediate and catastrophic impact. The dragon's head was cleaved in two by the devastating attack, causing it to crumble and shatter into shards of ice.

The power of Jori's strike was nothing short of extraordinary, and the ice dragon, once a formidable and relentless foe, now was defeated, its fragmented form sinking into the icy waters of the ocean.

Seara was left with her mouth hanging open and Rain watched that while blinking several times, and then he made the ice platform that Jori was standing go up because the body of the monster almost hit him.

The Frost Throne skill received 10.000 experience points.

The Frost King path leveled up.

The Frost King path leveled up.

The Frost King path leveled up.

Rain still received some experience since he helped them fight, but he didn't expect that it would have been that much. In the end, he messed up… he should have changed for the Berserker path in the middle of the battle. What was done was done…

Before the ice dragon could sink since the ice on its body was falling apart, Rain covered the body in ice and made it float toward the port town while Seara was healing the two dummies…

Jori's technique was powerful, but it needed around fifteen seconds to be fully charged and his arms suffered burn marks since he used too much energy and it was a skill beyond his current strength. Reca arms were a mess too, even though she didn't punch dragons like Rain, the damage she received was almost the same.

"You guys did well, I have nothing else to teach you," Rain said.

"Haha… haaaa…" Jori said. "If I were ten years younger, I would feel pretty good about this accomplishment. But I can't help but worry since we will have to keep fighting dragons."

"That only means that you have a good head on your shoulders," Rain said.

"I am the inverse as him, I can't help to fight more of them, what does that mean?" Reca asked.

"It means that your damage mitigation skills need some work," Rain said and then Reca hit his head with the butt of her spear and then the weapon cracked.

"Wow, to think that my head would have more defensive power than a dragon's body," Rain said. "I am scared of my own talent." Enjoy exclusive chapters from empire

"The weapon was just too old…" Reca said and then threw it away on the ocean when it began to fall apart. "I want a dragon bone spear."

"Even with Terra's healing skills, it will take some time for your to heal completely," Rain said. "If I make Lotto work hard enough, he should make a Masterpiece in one week. One using dragon bones and scales of an ice dragon… it should be pretty good agaisnt fire dragons."

"Hehehe , I Will be looking forward to it," Reca said.

The arrival of Rain, Seara, Reca, and Jori, accompanied by the slain ice dragon, was met with an overwhelming sense of triumph and awe in the port town. The townsfolk gathered around, their eyes wide with wonder as they gazed upon the immense, frozen carcass of the defeated ice dragon.

It was the first time they had ever seen a dragon up close, and the sight filled them with a sense of amazement and disbelief.
