Chapter 1399: Yu Dong’s question

Yu Dong was not feeling generous. In fact, she was quite annoyed, she looked at the annoying family in front of her before turning her attention to her grandmother. She was waiting for an answer as well, after all, she had only gone for a few hours, so how come the entire house was turned upside down in just a few hours?

Old Madam Yu was speechless. She looked at her sister and said, "What do you want me to explain? I also just came back home and saw this mess, what do you want me to say?" She was not a fool, after such a thing happened, why would she stand up for Yu Nianian and Yu Jianian?

More importantly, she and her sister were not so close that Old Madam Yu would find trouble with her granddaughter on whom she was relying to survive in her old age. What was more even though Old Madam Yu was not aware of what was going on, she had seen Sun Jie’s forehead covered in blood.

Her heart ached for that pure-hearted child. Sun Jie might be playful now but he was also sensible, he cleaned the dishes and washed the clothes of the entire family, even when Yu Dong told him that there were servants for that Sun Jie was still inclined to work hard.

In the end, Chen Mi took him next to him and started teaching him how to cook as cooking was the only thing that the mers of the house did.

Such a sensible child was bullied how could Old Madam Yu speak up for the person who caused the trouble?

Yu Sa scolded Old Madam Yu for leaving her stranded. She knew that the reason Old Madam Yu was acting like this was to make sure that Yu Dong would chase them out of the house. However, the more Old Madam Yu wanted to chase her out of the house, the more Yu Sa wanted to stay.

No matter what she was Old Madam Yu’s elder sister, she was more or less her elder, how could Old Madam Yu shirk responsibility?

However, now was not the time to worry about such a thing. She curled her lips and said, "Haha, it’s nothing. Just a small matter of kids playing around——"

"I have two kids in my home as well, if you think you can explain it like that then I can ask them to draw blood as well," Yu Dong interrupted coldly. She did not give any face to Yu Sa as she did not know who this woman was and why she was there for no reason.

Yu Sa’s face which was originally smiling started to get stiff by the minute. She looked at Yu Dong who was not giving her any face and knew that Yu Dong would not let her off. She was an experienced woman and knew how to read the room, she could see that Yu Dong was considerably upset.

Even if she was to try and turn the situation around, it did not seem like Yu Dong was going to let this matter slide.

In the end, she pushed Yu Nianian forward and said to her, "Nianian, you did something wrong. You should not have hit your elder like that, go and apologize."

Yu Sa wanted to bury the hatchet but it was not that easy.

Yu Nianian who had always been treated as the treasure of the family was shocked when she was asked to apologize. She looked at her great-grandmother who asked her to apologize and was speechless but then she burst into tears.

She cried and screamed, "Great-grandma is a bully! You all bully me! I did not do anything wrong!" As she screamed she turned on her small feet and ran away. She was not going to apologize to an idiot, if she apologized to an idiot where would Yu Nianian put her face?

As she thought of this, she ran out of the house and went to the guest courtyard.

Seeing her run away Yu Sa was speechless she knew that her children and grandchildren including the great-grandchildren were not sensible but she never thought that they were this foolish.

She turned to look at Yu Dong whose face was colder than ice and said to her, "I …I will go and teach her a lesson. She had been spoiled rotten by her parents." As she spoke, Yu Sa turned on her feet and ran away. Once she was gone, the rest of her family followed suit.

Yu Dong on the other hand frowned. She did not stop them as she did not understand what was going on, she turned to look at Old Madam Yu and said, "Grandma come with me."

Old Madam Yu knew that Yu Dong wanted to talk about Yu Sa and nodded. She walked inside the house with Yu Dong and the rest of the family, as soon as they stepped inside, they saw Chen Mi frowning.

"What’s wrong?" Yu Dong asked as she looked at Chen Mi.

"Do you still have that scar removal cream that you gave to Zan Zan?" Chen Mi asked her in return for answering. He pointed to the scar on Sun Jie’s forehead and stated, "That heartless girl did not hesitate at all, she really smacked Brother Jie with everything that she had…I am afraid that this will leave a scar."

The wooden block was sharp and heavy, and Yu Nianian threw it hard. It was not a surprise that the injury was going to leave behind a scar. When Yu Dong heard that it was going to scar, her expression turned even more stormy, she turned to look at Old Madam Yu and questioned while suppressing her anger, "Who are those bastards and why are they in my house?"
