Global Awakening: Apocalypse Ender's Chronicle

Chapter 509: Shane’s Current Stores

Chapter 509: Shane’s Current Stores

For now, Shane decided to open his Survivor Store. He hadn’t checked them yet as he had been quite busy since morning.

First, he opened the Weapon Store.

The first three items were quite familiar, Steel-Tipped Arrow Bols, Pistol Rounds, and Shotgun Shells. He didn’t even bother reading their description and focused on their prices and quantity.

[ Steel-Tipped Arrow Bolt ( Common ): ]

Price: 8 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 30/30

[ 9mm Pistol Rounds Box ( Common ):

Price: 20 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 5/5 ]

[ 12-Gauge Shotgun Shells ( Uncommon ):

Price: 25 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 5/5 ]

Shane already had plenty of these ammunitions but since the Zombies they were fighting weren’t decreasing, he purchased them all just like what he would always do.

After this, Shane checked the others and found them quite interesting.

[ Enhanced Throwing Knives ( Uncommon ): Lightweight, perfectly balanced throwing knives enhanced with a sharp edge and minor piercing enchantments.

Price: 35 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 10/10 ]

Shane liked that it had 10 of them. Furthermore, he could just use his thousands of Item Upgrade Crystals to make them a lot better. His Silver Daggers might be better but some normal throwing knives should do against normal enemies.

The next item was an arrow. However, it was already a bundle and not a single bolt.

[ Flaming Arrows Bundle ( Rare ): Arrows tipped with an incendiary compound, igniting upon impact to burn enemies. Effective against a mob and highly flammable structures. Each bundle contains 20 arrows.

Price: 50 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 5/5 ]

With five bundles, Shane was able to obtain 100 Flaming Arrows which would be very useful against a crowd of Zombies.

[ Explosive Fragmentation Grenades ( Exceptional ): Hand grenades designed to explode into shrapnel, dealing high damage to multiple targets in a large radius. Perfect for clearing large hordes or fortified nests.

Price: 100 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 10/10 ]

"Grenades, huh…" Shane nodded as he also realized that he no longer had any Grenades in his inventory. He was previously filled with them after visiting the previous Neutral Shelter. However, with the various events that had occurred over the past weeks, Shane already distributed them to others or used them up.

Then, Shane turned to the 7-day item of the store.

[ Phoenix’s Flame Dagger ( Epic ): A crimson-bladed dagger infused with the essence of a phoenix. Each strike from the blade can ignite enemies, dealing burn damage over time and reducing their regeneration abilities. The dagger can unleash a fire explosion once per day.

Availability: 7 Days Only

Price: 3,500 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 1/1 ]

"Ohh… Epic. But it’s a bit expensive…" Shane liked this item so he quickly checked his collection vouchers and found dozens of them. Then, he selected 75% off among them! Though he had some 90% Off items, he was thinking of saving them once he saw an item that was worth more than 7,000 Zombie Cores.

Shane decided to use this and soon, he only had to pay 875 Zombie Cores.

After getting the item, Shane played around with it for a bit before he felt satisfied and stored it in his Inventory.

He then turned his attention to the Nourishment Store.

"Nice… I’ll take them all." Shane muttered as he saw the items. They weren’t too amazing but he liked some changes in their food and drinks, so he knew that he had to take them all.

[ Protein-Rich Energy Bars:

Compact, long-lasting energy bars packed with essential nutrients and high-calorie content to keep survivors energized.

Price: 5 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 20/20 ]

[ Extra Energy Drink:

[ Canned Spiced Meat:

Price: 15 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 15/15 ]

"Ohhh… Some canned goods this time…" Shane muttered as he also liked having some of them from time to time. Although he had plenty of meat in his Inventory, the amount of spices and other ingredients that he had wasn’t a lot.

So, these flavorful canned goods would be a good change from time to time.

’Right, I have to visit my Fairy Realm latur and harvest some of them.’ Shane thought as he finally recalled the herbs he planted in that pocket dimension.

Anyway, he continued to look at the items being sold and was satisfied after seeing them.

[ Mana-Enriched Tea Leaves:

[ Emergency Nutrient Gel Packs: Highly concentrated gel packs containing a day’s worth of nutrition in a single serving.

Quantity: 5/5 ]

[ Ancient Elven Town Wine:

A rare bottle of wine brewed by Elven Alchemists, offering slight soothing properties and a temporary boost to stamina recovery.

Price: 120 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 2/2 ]

Although the Wine doesn’t have amazing effects, Shane was more interested in their taste, so he didn’t mind the lack of effects.

"There’s only two of them though… I want to share them with others but… I’ll do that one day if get more wine… Ahh—"

Shane suddenly recalled Bart, the Alcohol Brewer in the Springriver Manor! At this time, that man should’ve made hundreds of bottles already!

Shane then decided to ask Raze in the chat about it so he could get some stocks of alcohol... Of course, Shane decided to purchase them, so Bart would have enough money to create more.

After doing all of that, he returned to the Nourishment Store to check the 7-day item.

[ Ambrosia Elixir: A golden liquid said to be a gift from the heavens. Drinking it instantly restores all health, stamina, and mana. It also temporarily boosts physical and mental abilities by 25% for 12 hours.

Price: 400 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 5/5 ]

"It’s a bit pricey but it’s good for emergency use." Shane muttered as he considered for a moment.

’I guess it’s still a lot better than my token…’ He mused for a moment before he purchased the item.

Finally, Shane turned his attention to the Random Item Store. He was more excited about checking this shop since he could find anything here… It could be clothes, accessories, various devices, tattoos, or even various scrolls.

Furthermore, he was hoping to find another Fusion Skill Scroll since he had quite a lot of Skills at the moment. It would be a lot better if he was able to fuse them instead. Although it was less likely to be there, he was still hoping for it. If there wasn’t any of them, he would try his luck in his Reputation Store.

The first four items were quite normal after and he had seen a lot of them before.

[ Basic First-Aid Kit ( Common): A compact kit containing bandages, antiseptic wipes, and pain relievers.

Price: 15 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 20/20 ]

[ Flashlight with Solar Recharge ( Common ): A durable flashlight equipped with solar panels, ensuring it remains functional even during prolonged power outages.

Price: 10 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 15/15 ]

[ Great Zombie Repellent Spray ( Master ): A canister of potent, alchemical spray that masks an area’s scent, making it harder for zombies to detect anything for a limited time.

Price: 380 Zombie Cores

"Ahh… Wait… This is not normal." Shane commented as he realized that he had just found a Master-Grade Zombie Repellent Spray!

He had used and upgraded Zombie Repellent Spray before but it had only increased it duration and the level of Zombie it could repel was still the low-tier ones.

Anyway, the next items were also quite interesting though he wasn’t sure if it would be that helpful

[ Living Compass: A mystical compass that points toward the living within a 5-kilometer radius. It can only be used once per day and leads to any human being. This includes Survivors, Scavengers, Recruits… etc. )

Price: 450 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 1/1 ]

[ Great Zombie Doll: A cute and creepy doll that resembles a zombie in appearance. It can be held by a Survivor who wants to avoid getting noticed by low and mid-tier Zombies but with limited durability and effectiveness.

Experience new tales on NovelBin.Côm

Price: 550 Zombie Cores

Quantity: 3/3 ]

"These two don’t have any ratings." Shane muttered as he knew that those without ratings could not be upgraded.

Nonetheless, the Living Compass was quite interesting since it could find other people. This is a good item to find other Survivors or perhaps, even shelters if they ever got lost.

On the other hand, the Great Zombie Doll was the better version of the normal Zombie Doll that could only help with low-tier Zombies.

It may be a great item when they’re resting but overall, Shane didn’t mind being attacked by low-tier Zombies since they could still provide Zombie Cores and other resources to him and his teammates.

Needless to say, Shane purchased this item as well.

Then, as he was about to check the Reputation Store, Cloud flared with warnings!

[ A Vampire has been detected. ]
