Chapter 198 Introductions.

Only Red Dream's subordinates were still standing. This made their fear peak in a short amount of time. Some of them even began to back out of the room.

He warned them gently, "Don't leave if I didn't tell you to leave. You will stand and wait for my orders, or you will pay for it dearly."

This made them stop in their tracks. Then they looked at each other in fear and panic. They didn't know what to say or what to do.

They had prepared to say a lot to him before he arrived. They were willing to say anything to him to make him let down his guard and to delay until their plans could get into place. But now, none of them wanted to say anything for fear of annoying him.

They were deathly afraid of the pain. They were only mildly afraid of it when Red Dream had informed them of it. Some of them had even ridiculed her for succumbing because of a little pain. But now they can understand why she surrendered.

He said to them, "I apologize on behalf of my subordinate. She can go a little overboard with the pain sometimes."

He smiled at them, "Don't be shy. We will all be one cabal soon, so we are technically family. Let's start with the introductions. You can call me Dollar Hog. It is because I love money."

He laughed at his joke, but no one else was in the mood to laugh. Not even to kiss his ass. They were at their lowest mentally. They can't even produce an ounce of laughter to save their lives, much less laugh at some dry joke.

But he didn't mind. He said, "Now you. Tell me about yourself and the plan you have prepared to deal with me today."

What he said caused them to tense up. He noticed this and gave them a way out. "Don't worry. You don't have to tell me about your plan. You can just tell me your names and your business. You can keep your secret. In exchange, I'll let my overboard subordinate torture you for another round."

He pointed to Snake Eyes and said, "You go first. I hear that you're stubborn. I am curious to see what decision you will pick."

Snake Eyes had his eyes wide with fear when Kelvin had casually informed them that they would be tortured if they didn't tell him what they planned. But now that he had been singled out, he could only bite the bullet.

He steeled his will and said, "Torturing us won't work. The plan has already been executed. Nothing you do will stop it. It will work even if you kill us."

He activated his ability again, which caused Snake Eyes to spasm in pain. The narco boss fell to the ground and screamed in pain.

He changed his tune immediately and begged, "Please make it stop. I'll tell you everything you need to hear."

Kelvin shook his head and said, "It is too late. I told you to introduce yourself, but you didn't. You were even bold enough to threaten me. It seems you haven't learned your lesson yet. Next time, when I tell you to do something, you will do it without delay and without threats.""

Snake Eyes howled and shrieked as his body contorted into painful ways. The sounds he made and the sight of his anguish were so bad that even the other bosses felt pain for him. So they were very eager when he asked them again.

It was Spiked Tongue who raised up his hand first. He said, "Please, Boss Dollar, I have a lot to say."

The others looked at him with anger. They were very angry at him because he was the one that had cooked up the plan. Now he was going to throw them under the bus.

They didn't want him to speak, so many of them also raised their hands to speak. This forced him to nod to Red Dream.

Red Dream whipped a wall and shouted at them, "Be silent."

This shut them up. Kelvin was satisfied with her work. So he gave her a thumbs up.

Then he said, "We are not thugs here. We are cultured business, so we should act like one. I don't want to see this kind of unsightly clamoring again. Do you understand me?"

They nodded and replied, "Yes, boss."

He smiled. "That's good to hear."

He pointed at Spiked Tongue and said, "Now you. What do you have to say?"

Spiked Tongue replied, "Boss Dollar, I am Spiked Tongue of the Spike gang. We sell Spike to the down-and-out people looking for affordable entertainment. I am an..."

Kelvin interrupted and said, "Get to the point."

He nodded in fright and said, "We plan to deal with you by using the power of the Justice League. Someone said that diamond is weak to fire, so we tipped off Fire Rose of the Justice League about the leader of a black market that had come to town."

He clapped and said, "Nicely done."

Spiked Tongue was caught between taking credit for the plan to impress the new boss and being modest so that the boss won't single him out for punishment.

He chose the safest option and said, "It was a joint effort. We all contributed something to the plan."

Kelvin waved his hand. "Continue with the plan."

Spiked Tongue coughed as the eyes of the other bosses bore holes into him. He continued quickly, "We told her that this black market boss is you, and we described your features for her. Then we gave her the time and place you will be meeting your subordinates so that she can drop in and kill you."

Kelvin said, "That explains why none of you are strong enough to kill me. You planned to use the help of others to do the deed. So when will she arrive? Let me guess, in a few minutes."
