Putting the Jade Slip and the CD with the VS Device away, Tanxan allowed Rean to work on him. "Go ahead and do your magic. I want to go out and take a look at this empire on my own as soon as possible."
Rean grabbed Tanxan and opened a path to his Core through his slime body. There was no need to make Tanxan go unconscious since he didn't mind Tanxan seeing the whole process. "It will take some time, so be patient. Also, if you feel anything wrong, tell me straight away. I haven't worked on someone of your race before, nor on anyone similar. Even though I'm very confident, it is always good to be careful."
"Don't worry, I will let you know," Tanxan nodded and let Rean do as he pleased.
"Since you will spend some time with him, I will go back to prepare our next steps," Roan said, disappearing right after.
Following that, Rean called Sister Orb back to help him, even though the Orb was still angry. Nonetheless, she helped Rean since Tanxan wasn't at fault there. Just like that, the two worked on adding a Divine Werdlem Stone to Tanxan's Core.
Several hours passed, and after what seemed an eternity in hell, the first person to finish going through the Divine Energy Transformation appeared. Foliana, feeling every cell of her body aching nonstop, finally got up, dry tears covering her face. "I swear... The next time something like this becomes necessary, I will just kill myself."
Tony laughed as he didn't feel anything, only watched. "Hahaha! Come on, girl, don't say something like that. The first time you experienced this kind of pain, you ended up acquiring a better bloodline and a much higher talent. Now, you can use Divine Energy. They were all for your own good."
"Hmph!" Foliana wasn't convinced it was worth the price. Well, that was only at the moment, while the memories of the pain were still vivid in her mind. Then, she extended her arm, and feeling the Divine Energy in the surroundings, she gathered it around her hand. "So this is Divine Energy..."
She could feel a completely different level compared to Spiritual Energy. "No wonder anyone from the Divine World can destroy those in the Mortal World, even in the same realm. Even my Red Lightning Hawk Bloodline seems to be reacting to it. Back when I used Spiritual Energy, I had to force the bloodline to wake up with it. The bloodline seems a lot more active with Divine Energy as well."
"Well, that's why they are called Divine Demon Beasts," Tony commented. "I think..."
"Perhaps you are right," Foliana admitted it was a possibility. Following that, Foliana spoke to the space around her. "Sister Orb, are you there?"
Sister Orb's voice immediately echoed in her ears. [Oh, you are back. Congratulations on your newly acquired strength. You are officially a Divine Realm cultivatior now.]
"Thank you... I guess." Foliana didn't know if she was happy, having experienced all that pain until a moment ago. "Bring me to Rean."
[Not now,] Sister Orb didn't do as she was asked, though. [Rean and I are busy working on a friend of ours. Rean can't be distracted. I can send you to Diliy, though. He seems to be nearing the end of his transformation as well.]
"Working on someone else?" Foliana was confused. Was there anyone else in this Dimensional Realm she didn't know? "Well, whatever. Yes, send me to Diliy."
*Zush!*
In the next moment, Foliana appeared near where Diliy was having his own share of suffering. However, the man truly had a wealth of experience. His expression was terrible, but he was sitting in a lotus position, bearing all the pain with grace. It was a stark contrast to the initial screams he gave when it started.
Foliana smiled and just sat there, waiting for him to finish.
Meanwhile, Rean reached a crucial moment in adding the Divine Werdlem Stone to Tanxan's Core. "Tanxan, check to see if your Core Channels have connected to the Stone. If it went as expected, your channels should be receiving Divine Energy through the stone."
"Very well..." Tanxan concentrated, and Divine Energy began to flow into his core. "Seems like it is fine... although it is somewhat sluggish. I was having a better time using your bracelet."
Rean already expected that. "That's to be expected. You were not born in this Werdlem Empire, so your channels didn't evolve with the Stone as your cultivation increased. You will need to get used to the difference. Don't worry. I have confidence in my work, and I can guarantee the result will be identical, if not even better, than before you got the stone."
"I believe you," Tanxan answered, seemingly unconcerned.
[Well, with the channels working, I guess we can close the gaps.]
"Yes. Let's do it." Rean nodded, and the two worked together to close everything. They were as careful as ever since Tanxan's Soul existed inside his core as well. Neither Rean nor Sister Orb were in any hurry to finish their jobs.
Slowly but certainly, the Core and Werdlem Stone seemed to become one. The connection between both was so good that Rean could brag about Tanxan getting an advantage against other experts at the same level with that alone. Probably only Foliana and the others, who also had their Divine Werlem Stone added by Rean, could say that they will enjoy the same advantages in the future.
'Life Style, Instant Recovery!'
After closing all gaps, Rean used his healing skill to also close Tanxan's slime body. In the end, there were no marks left behind, and no one would be able to tell that Tanxan received his Divine Werdlem Stone much later in his life.
*Poing, poing...*
Tanxan then jumped on the ground, moving while bouncing instead of using Divine Energy to float as he normally did. "Hum... there doesn't seem to be anything wrong. Good job, Rean."
Rean was obviously happy to hear that. "Great!"
"By the way..." Tanxan remembered something. "What if I leave the Werldme Empire one day? What will happen to this Divine Werdlem Stone?"
"This..." Rean went silent. Indeed, what would happen?
