Chapter 3293: Helpless Comment

?

Before Tanxan could ask why, Rean gave him an explanation of just who Hyeoumu was, much to Tanxan's shock. "You must be kidding. There is no way a huge living being exists..."

Rean shrugged. "And yet, there he is, holding the entire Realm of Gods on his back alone."

Roan didn't care, though. "Forget that. Whether you believe or not won't change the truth. How about you tell us how you ended up here in the Werdlem Empire? Weren't you supposed to have gone back to Lingan Universe? No, you first would jump to that Multi-Planes Repairing Dock you talked about."

"That was the idea," Tanxan nodded, remembering the events after he turned on the engines and left the Lisan Universe. "However, as soon as the spaceship entered the spatial gate, it was intercepted inside."

"Intercepted inside a Spatial Gate?" Rean and Roan looked at each other before looking back at Tanxan. "Is that even possible? The Inter-Space Movement shouldn't be able to be stopped, no?" That's what Rifindio called the tunnel inside the Spatial Gate, which, according to him, was different from the normal Spatial Gates that cultivators used. They had the same use, though.

"Oh, so you know about the Inter-Space now." Tanxan was happy he didn't need to explain. "That is correct. As soon as I entered the Inter-Space with the Spaceship, it was intercepted. The projection of that Hyeoumu you talked about appeared out of nowhere, inside the same room where I was operating the ship."

"He said something about it being too early for a clue of the existence of the Lisan Universe, so he had to stop me. I obviously refused, but he didn't care. In the next moment, his Divine Energy assaulted me, and I lost consciousness. I woke up again just now, and your faces were the first thing I saw since then."

Although one could say Tanxan didn't have much information, he actually had a very big piece of news. "Sure enough, Hyeoumu and Soul Gem are involved. Hex wasn't lying." They only heard Hex's part of the story, after all. There was no guarantee he was telling the truth. Besides, all Hex mentioned was that Hyeoumu and Soul Gem were his brothers in a fellow disciple manner.

"But why would Hyeoumu send you to Closal Planet?" Rean couldn't help but ask.

"You are asking the wrong guy," which Tanxan had no answer for. "No, wait! I do seem to remember he mentioned something else just before I passed out... What was it... what was it..." Tanxan felt some difficulty remembering those last moments. Finally, he got there. "Ah! Right! He said something about using me to test whether Hex could throw me inside 'that place' without being detected."

"By that place, he probably meant the Werdlem Empire," Roan commented. They knew it was Hex who brought them here, and the Werdlem Empire seemed oblivious at that point in time. "In there end, there isn't much Tanxan can tell us."

"Not exactly," Rean shook his head. "Did you not notice? Tanxan was sent to the same planet we were left at? What does that mean? It means that perhaps there is a connection to the outside somewhere in Closal. Or, somewhere close to it, at least."

Roan had to admit Rean was right. "Would you be able to find it?"

"As if!" Rean shrugged. "Do we have the strength to even go back there and investigate without being bothered? First of all, I don't even know what we would be looking for. Is it a Spatial Gate? A Teleport Formation? Maybe Hex knows how to use that so-called Great Void Shifter Formation to get there. Even if we knew he did, where did he leave that Formation? He might actually have used some weird transportation method, like a Black Hole? I have no idea."

That only made Roan's resolve stronger. "We need to cultivate faster and recover our strength."

"That goes without saying," Rean agreed.

Tanxan, however, was still confused. "How about you tell me the whole story this time? Forget about the simplified version. Tell me everything."

The twins trusted Tanxan, so they didn't hide anything, including the things related to the system itself. Tanxan obviously felt more and more shocked the longer he heard the entire story. When the twins finished, Tanxan only had one thing to mention. "I say... just how the hell you get involved in so much shit?"

Rean and Roan's hands moved at the same time, pointing at the orb on the back. "It's her fault."

Sister Orb would cry right there if she had eyes. [Fuck you! Her fault, your ass! It is the system's fault. Why her fault? I'm innocent!]

"That's the Universe Sentience?" Tanxan asked, hearing Sister Orb's voice for the first time.

"That is her indeed," Rean confirmed. "Ignore her tantrums. Sometimes, really, reaaaaaaally just a few times, and far in between, she can be useful."

"You are overstating her capabilities," Roan spoke, thinking Rean was being too generous." *Bang, crash, poing!*

Then, the control orb flashed, flying at a speed even the twins couldn't react. It had been a very long time since it last happened, but it didn't mean it couldn't happen. This time, they finally made Sister Orb lose her reason, and she gave them their deserved beating. Her frustrations of years of similar comments were there, making each hit more painful.

[Hmph!] Then, she turned around and disappeared, leaving the pummeled twins behind for Tanxan to deal with.

"Are you... still alive?" Tanxan asked, not sure if those two pools of blood were even hearing his voice.

*Ouch...*

'Life Style, Instant Recovery!'

Yet, Tanxan saw once again how ridiculously powerful Rean's Instant Recovery skill was. He still felt impressed even though he saw in in the past. In just a few seconds, both Rean and Roan were back on their feat.

"She sure shows no mercy..." Rean rubbed his head. "She completely blocked our cultivation energies, prevented us from using the system, and especially going out of the Dimensional Realm. Sometimes, I forget she is the absolute god in this place, with an authority even higher than ours."

"Let's just not comment on her usefulness next time," Roan gave a rare, helpless comment as he agreed with Rean.
