Chapter 3292: Just a Ship? Too Small!
?
Back when the twins found Tanxan, he was unconscious, but that was a forced state by the laws of the Mortal World. His cultivation surpassed the limit there. Unfortunately, he was locked in the Inquisition Forging Hall, so the laws couldn't banish him to a higher realm. That said, those same laws put him to sleep, and he wouldn't wake up as long as he was in the Mortal World.
Now, they were back, but Sister Orb kept the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm closed. Only now that they had some time, Roan decided it was as good a moment as any to let the slime... Ahem, the Juby Race guy wake up.
Those laws invaded the Dimensional Realm, and Tanxan's Soul immediately reacted to them. No, it was more precise to say that the Laws of the Mortal World began to dissipate. Slowly but certainly, Tanxan woke up, his gelatinous green body moving sluggish...
*Glug...*
The slime body then took the shape of a mouth, sucking in some air so as to generate his iconic high pitch voice. "I swear to all gods in existence. I'm absolutely killing that guy! I'm going to throw the entire spaceship on his fucking head!"
Tanxan was still somewhat lost, kind of speaking those words out of instinct or perhaps hate.
"Uh?" Then, those other sockets appeared right about the mouth was located, and inside, a slight glow appeared. The world around him became visible to Tanxan once again, but he couldn't tell where he was. Of course, he also noticed Rean and Roan there... "Who the fuck are you? Where is that piece of shit?"
"Oh!" Rean remembered they had a different appearance now. "Tanxan, it is us, Rean and Roan. Do you remember us?"
"What?!" Tanxan was taken aback. "You look... a lot younger. Are you making fun of me?"
"How about you ask something that only Rean and I could possibly know?" Roan went straight to the point. Nothing would make it more obvious than that.
Tanxan's slime body nodded. "That's quite easy indeed. Very well."
And so, Tanxan asked several questions, including a few traps here and there about his time back in Lisan. Of course, because those were all things that happened between him and the twins, Rean and Roan were able to answer everything without falling for any traps. "And that's how you sent us away to the Realm of Gods before you left yourself with the ship."
Tanxan had no doubt anymore. "Alright, I believe it is the two of you. If you had somehow read my memories, you would still have fallen for the traps, but you obviously didn't. Still, how the hell did you get that young? No, wait. I couldn't care less about it. You can even become women, and I wouldn't give a shit. Instead, could it be you were also captured by that guy?"
Rean and Roan looked at each other. "Are you talking about Hex?"
"Who's Hex?" Tanxan didn't know about him. "I'm talking about that turtle... Well, it was only the projection of one, but it was quite big."
"Turtle?" The only turtle the twins knew about was Hyeoumu, the being that supports the Realm of Gods on his back. "Do you know what he looked like?"
Tanxan nodded again and tried to use his Divine Energy, only to notice that he couldn't control even an iota of Divine Energy in there. "Hum? Weird, I can't feel the presence of Divine Energy. Are we somewhere without Divine Energy?"
"No," Rean shook his head, then used his Divine Sense to explain to Tanxan the situation about cultivating in the Werdlem Empire.
"Wait?! Did you say Werdlem Empire?!" Tanxan couldn't help but tremble. "The legendary Werdlem Empire? The same one that disappeared with all its Universes in a moment?"
"The one and the same," the twins confirmed. Sure enough, Taxan had also heard about this Empire. It was already a legend even back before Tanxan went to Lisan. In any case, Rean gave Tanxan a few more details. He would tell him the whole story later, but he and Roan were more curious about Tanxan's events instead.
"So much happened..." Tanxan found it hard to believe. "I was going to use my Divine Energy to make a projection of what the turtle looked like."
"Don't worry, you can use my little invention here." Rean then passed another one of his new CDs. After that, he also gave Tanxan one of his bracelets and attached a Divine Werdlem Stone to it. Finally, he explained how they worked through Divine Sense.
Tanxan was indeed a formations master. He picked the gist of how it all worked and felt impressed with Rean's progress after all these years. "You grew quite smart, didn't you, kid? Anyway, let me put this bracelet inside my body. I should be able to use it if I wrap this bracelet around my core. I don't have an arm, after all."
And so, Tanxan's core was enveloped by the bracelet. With the bracelet generating the Werdlem Stone Signature ID, he connected to the Werdlem Network using Rean's CD. He had to add some new information, and after a while, Divine Energy finally reached him. "That's more like it..."
"Still, why I'm completely empty of Divine Origin Energy?" He wondered. Naturally, it was because it was all absorbed back in the Inquisition Forging Hall. The twins didn't tell him that, though. "Oh well, whatever."
Tanxan absorbed some of the Divine Energy around, and the projection of a turtle appeared in front of the twins. Tanxan could have used a Divine Sense message for that, but he insisted on showing it in the real world. "Do you know him?"
"Not only we do, we have quite a special relation to this guy," Roan mentioned as he narrowed his eyes. "That is none other than Hyeoumu."
"So you know him? Great! Now I can smash him with the spaceship!" Tanxan spoke angrily.
Yet, the twins' expressions turned weird. Just a Ship? Too Small! "You will probably need a ship a few quadrillion times bigger if you hope to inflict him some damage. And even then, it probably won't be much more than a scratch."
