So it isn’t bad but it basically boiled down to an asian supremacy susuckfest. Okey, that may be a bit overly exaggerated but still. The premise is that the MC has a system that allows him to spend points to watch tutorials made by “gods”. He gains these points by completing very hard tasks, doing achievements, performing feats, etc... He can then spend them to learn abilities, godly powers, “medical” skills, etc... The gods want more people to do this because whoever gets the most will become the one True God. The MC also writes reviews for the “Gods” that he watched videos for and somehow they are so extremely good that every person who reads them will automatically subscribe to that god. This leads to the gods trying everything they can to make him endorse them the most. The asian supremacy suckfest comes in when for some reason very obscure Asian historical figures or local legends have a abilities that are more overpowered than those of literal gods. MC wants to travel around really fast and instead of choosing a god of travel and realm traversing he chooses a robin hood-esque figure that tricked officials into believing he was in multiple places using by using body doubles. Apparently this was based off of a movie, kinda like that one robinhood movie with the exact same premise made ten years earlier or the book made a century or two before the korean version was supposedly to have existed. The Mc also chooses a Korean court physician’s acupuncture skill (because of course) to fix a real medical condition because acupuncture is a real and true medical treatment that isn’t likely to cause nerve damage even when performed by “trained” or “skilled” professionals. And I’ve went on a tangent.Translation wise it has the same grammatical problems as most Korean translations, and the using of Korean and other Asian mythos/historical figures can be written of because you write for your audience not logical consistency. Overall I’d give it a 4-5/10. Not recommended.
I think I understand why he chose that Robin Hood-esque figure. That sounds like it gives an ability like teleportation or body-swap with body doubles. I don't know a specific god with either of those abilities (they probably exist, but still).The court physician can be more easily explained. I know of gods of healing but not of medicine. If you see a list of names, you probably choose the one you recognize as what you are looking for (in this case, famous physician = medical skill which is renowned and you know some deeds about). And if we assume that the strength of a god's power is based on how many believe in it or its deeds. Then, that court physician may have become a deity or saint because of all people believing in his deeds, etc., which have then strengthened his medical skill.It seems to be based on some kind of renown(faith). Note: I hadn't read a single chapter when I wrote this comment.

Read all available chapters (53). It's pretty good overall, but the stuff around the Gods is a bit...off I guess. Also the "system" isn't a big focus either and isn't explained a whole lot.Basically he wakes up in the body of a sickly Eldest brother of a mid-tier noble family. The world is a game he used to play a ton of, and which he completed multiple runs of. He is the only "player" in this world/version of the game. The Gods part is described as "MeTube", but in reality its better to think of it as Patreon. Users have to use a "Like" to subscribe to a God. Then they have access to their videos - generally the first 2 are free, then he has to pay Likes to unlock more. Watching a video grants him a skill. The main reason all the Gods want him to subscribe to them is because he leaves extremely well written reviews, which help the Gods achieve more subscribers.The MeTube stuff is not the main focus at all. It is used quite a bit at the start since he is extremely sickly - barely able to walk, constantly coughing blood etc. But after he stabilises a bit, it mainly focuses on the game and completing Quests, achievements etc.Speaking of the system, nothing is really explained well, which leads to some things which don't really make sense, specifically around Levelling. He defeats multiple extremely high level opponents/monsters, like in their 20s, and 1 opponent in the 80s, yet the first time we see his system stats after that he is only Level 5. No explanation around how EXP or stats work or how he gets/applies them.The issue with the Gods thing is that the choice of Gods and how they interact just feels really odd. His first choice is an Eastern God who focuses on Acupunture and Decoctions, which he needs to survive. He has very few subscribers, yet somehow later on is shown having a conversation with Ares, God of War.His second subscription is to Hercules, which is fair enough I guess. He gets a breathing method skill and a skill to see monsters weakspots/levels.But the third one feels kinda off. He looks for a teleport/portal ability and finds an Eastern God with only 1 review that grants the ability to fast travel to places you've visited before, which is amazing. But he looks into, and skips over, some really strong Gods, like Hermes, who apparently just gives you winged shoes skill for subscribing, and who has pretty bad reviews for.It feels weird to me that this random God has an amazing fast travel skill, yet doesn't have tons of subscribers/reviews. It's a fast travel that, from what it looks like, only requires you to have visited the place once before.

I am surprised, how this novel is not more famous? It's one of the great novel I have read as of chapter 180. This story focus on our MC who is on journey to become Great wizard, the world is multidimensional world with countless gods and races. Wizards are seekers of truth and one of, if not strongest power all across Multiverse, this guys only see so called Great God's and Abyss lord as nothing more than material for experiment. They are also very cruel as they only care about people around them and all others are material to be experiment. The world is very dark and realistic with lots of death and every other guy wanting a piece of you. Only problem is last update was 9 months ago, so it's probably dropped.

As noted by some of the other commenters, this novel draws heavy inspiration from Warlock of the Magus World if you liked that book you MUST give this one a try.THINGS I LIKED:-Hardworking and rational MC-Responsible usage of system elements (experienced readers will know how rare this is)-Mob villains are treated like mobs (no drama where the young get killed and the old come out)-MC stays cautious and lowkey until an opportunity comes along and hes like "Fu#k it, we ball" (if you read the novel you will understand this unique charm)That being said, the author seems to be somewhat free styling the story as the inspiration comes to him which is a bit worrying in terms of the story's stability. We get a lot of almost slice of life sections of the MC going about his Mage apprentice duties. The author does a great job with the worldbuilding (cough copied from WOTMW cough) but is having a hard time writing a plot that is unique to this story.In summary, this is a GREAT Warlock of the Magus World fanfiction being passed off as an original. I give it a 4/5

It's more like a monologue than novel. And storyline went absurd he can't eat humans cause he'll develop conscience. My dear author the character you made lived two lives as human and died before 20 after living in hunger and getting stabbed. By eating humans especially adults you should gain more greed, anger, lust cause human is a bundle of mistakes and very sinful, it shouldn't have anything to so with 'conscience '. So after a terrific start you brought us on zero again.

Well i personally love Chysalis and dont think these two are the same. Anthony stives to maintain a relationship were he sort of cares for the humans. Here the mc is forced to care about the situation Spoiler due to heavens rath . The guy is too apathetic. Anthony, i feel is just right. He'll kill humans when he has too and he didnt have all that good of a live prior to reincarnation, Spoiler got tortured stabbed and then starved ti death. The mc of devourer on the other hand lost his parents-yes, but not much else. He wasnt personally present only felt the repercussions.

This is pretty good work but it's hard for me to read through the end because it had too much details which made me tried very fast.
This novel starts off with a big info dump but if you read through it, you will find the first chapters to be really interesting with a well thought out system so far and a relatable Mc. I really advise to give it a read up to chapter 10 at least.
the synopsis is accurate for what it says.the story starts like a standard isekai but there is no op/naive/murderhobo mc here, that should be clear enough with her having to survive weeks in the wilderness and almost dying from disease and other problems, all of that before even meeting civilization.Afterwards her situation improves significantly compared to the hardcore start, she will be to pursue her interest in reserch and magic, especially how and why the system works and if there is a chance of going back, or stopping the growing amount of broken mana.Fights are still present throught the story but they are of reasonable odds and not the focus of the story.The progress of the story is at a normal speed, chapters are decently long with weekly release

I've read novel of this absolute garbage while webnovel may have some differences I don't think it would be much so here's my review:The first volume of this book is still readable, MC is fking dense even there but still it's bearable since MC mans up and owns himself by dying constantly in name of training. Lich girl in beginning also makes this bearable since she's adorable. But comes the second volume and shit hits the fan, MC is overcautious to the point he would let a fking mob of lv 10 roll all over him when he is fking over level 4000!!!!!!! He can fking destroy country by himself! He doesn't kill his enemies and tries to avoid it as much as possible, if someone walking all over him makes it so conflict end he does it, but how can author let MC go with trash walking over him??? So the conflict happens anyway! Second volume also focused on the new hussle mc gains after he leaves lich. She is a kind-hearted girl who warns mc that the trash of the adventurer only wants to humiliate MC thinknig he is a hilly-billy but what does mc do? Let the trash humiliate both mc and his side hussle. HAHAHAHA there's a limit to how spineless can you be! There's limit to hiding power in order to not be treated as monster! Even if you wanted to be treated as normal human you can atleast show case normal power!!!!!!!! Afterall a normal human WANT RESPECT!AHHHHHH I guess you guys can feel my anger from my review. Upto you if you want to continue, first volume is still readable and you can still ignore all faults but second volume onwards author just decides to focus only on faults.

Some people compare this to “I Highjacked the Timeline (IHTT)”, and while I’ll say that the premise is similar as both novels have the mc going into the far future where their countries were destroyed by beasts, there are many differences. Here I will explain a few of the differences -> Spoiler For example I just feel like the people in this novel are too annoying, there are generic arrogant characters everywhere. Like literally every character underestimates the mc and they easily feel jealously, hatred, and other bad emotions, in comparison to IHTT, where every genius is celebrated and you can feel the pride in every characters souls where they would put their life’s on the line against the monsters. Even the random characters are like that (it seems). But here the characters are still killing each other, like there’s no urgency coming from anyone other than the military people. This is just an example, and also the mc doesn’t seem to pass any of his techniques he finds from the future to the public (at least as of now, but he doesn’t seem like he will), but I don’t blame him since there’s no unity in the country. I just feel like if he did that like in IHTT, he might have been able to increase the level of humanity’s strength, which would in turn increase the strength of the future techniques. But maybe he can’t do so, as the setting is different compared to IHTT as everyone is able to submit techniques they make to an institute where they would reward anyone who makes good techniques. Maybe here there’s no platform for him to submit his techniques, idk. It seems he wants to become a powerhouse of his own and save humanity, while compared to IHTT, the mc wants all of humanity to get stronger and he also cultivates many geniuses and seems to be making an organization. Id also say this novel is also much more lighthearted as ‘IHTT’ seems to have a lot more despair and mystery. Plus IHTT has more chapters, but also some more nonsense. Lastly, the mc here is much more calm and mature then the IHTT mc but he seems much more bland as well. Not very memorable Anyway, both novels are good imo but if I didn’t read IHTT first I wouldn’t have found so many ‘problems’ with this novel. I’d recommend reading either one.

This is surprisingly pretty good at least I enjoyed it quite a lot compared to any other fanfics, this is not necessarily a good read for everyone but for certain people it is a good read.The one that carried the novel is the MC, he is like not your typical OP bland super handsome perfect guy in almost any fanfics out there, he is really flawed and i genuinely like him as a character, and don't bother with the harem, the harem is ridiculous like the number is really really ridiculous I advise you to NOT read the character sheet, I REPEAT DO NOT READ the character sheet it only will discourage you to read just go straight to the chapter 1.The first 30 chapters are quite tedious to read since it contains mostly monologues but I assure you it will get better afterward, 99% of the harem are just there for the sake of being there but the 1% is actually GOLD.So yup, I recommend it 4.3/5 good read

Read till chapter 3 and absolutely dissapointing. The mc is apparently a heaven defying genius who can almost calculate the soon to come future, only by how smart he is. He comes to an ending where he is tortured. He knew this would happen along with the destruction of his family however he let it be. The author desperately tries to describe it as the mc believing in karma and this was his fate. And the mc by doing nothing he may have avoided it. The author is contradicting himself here. Can't the f#cking mc calculate what happens if he does nothing? How did he know that by doing nothing, his family wouldn't be destroyed. Even if he had that Unlucky Star title that doesn't explain anything. What am saying is, a being like that would have NEVER, in any chance arrive at such a low point in life. In conclusion if there are so many loopholes till chapter 3, I don't want to see what happens on later chapters. Also check my comment on chapter 3 if you need more reasons not to waste your time on it. I am being so critical on this, because the author tried to write a novel that he doesn't have the capability to. Also I had my hopes up from the other reviews.....
A review based on 3 chapters is not a review. Even if the novel is bad, you can't judge it just with your own opinion and perspective with less than a dozen chapters. An example of this is Grasping Evil, if you judge only by the first 100 chapters, it is something horrible, I say this because I thought so too, but after the first hundred, It was so good that it entered my top 5 novels.
It is a rev even if its only the first 3 chapters. Could it be to little to be helpful yes, but does it means its bad/wrong? No because fist of he begins with having only read 3 chapters(instantly giving away how much he knows) and secondly it already can be used as a somewhat basis as to whats gonna happen, should he have read more or is his rev not good because of that? Likely, does that mean it isnt one? No it is. Also if a novel becomes good on chapter 100 than he has every right to call it trash since thats like 2 books(here it would be 4) to become good(even if it is 9+/10 after that in my opinion as a whole such a novel would at most get 8.9-10) . Even tho i think his rev isnt very valuable since its to little to be very relevant.

Read all available chapters (17). It's pretty decent. If you're into Mechs then you will likely enjoy it a lot more than me, but even then I still like it.Basically MC woke up in the body of a beggar in the game he was obsessed with. Its all about Mechs and MC is clearly obsessed with them, which is nice to see. He is genuinely excited at seeing/experiencing these things and is very hardworking, since he knows that the others around him in the Academy are all extremely talented main characters of the original game.Unlike most novels like this, MC doesn't try and take a backseat or hide in the background. He makes it his goal to be seen as much of a genius as possible. This is due to his System - it mainly offers him Quests. These Quests are almost all ones the Main Character would get in game, and thus require him to do things that a main character would do; rank at the top, become the group leader, etc.Obviously doing this does change things from the original game, but he doesn't seem to be that worried about it. He doesn't solely rely on his game knowledge, but makes sure to confirm whether things are the same or different and then react accordingly.There's been some signs that his body is different in some way/it isn't just a random beggar, but there's nowhere near enough chapters for that to be explored yet.Overall its a pretty decent start.

What a nice novel to read - I'm up to book 2 ch 12.We have a person isekaid (computer science nerd, not some former assassin or special forces or something) into the body of a child which was trapped in a village with undead running about destroying everything. This is in a greater region called the Boglands which is part of a nation.There is a system, classes such as leatherworker, warrior, farmer, bard, that kind of thing. People have stats that they can raise by leveling or training them. The exception is children, whose status is locked until they're about 14.Now the plot so far is holding out then making a living in a medieval type town. The boglands are threatened by the existence of the undead army, there are evil classes like witch, corpse eater, and so forth that plague the civilized world. The local and national governments try to root them out and destroy them.The novel is a decent paced slice of life thus far in the world. Quite descriptive, quite immersive, and people act like people normally should act, without the young masters, kowtowing, or "You dare!"I don't want to spoil the novel, really, so I won't discuss the class of the MC. He is a "child" adopted by a guardian "illusionist" who knows about his past life. The MC is a balanced, normal person. On the kinder, more patient side of the spectrum. Not willing to romance "children" his age.The book is quite impressive so far, a pity it has so few chapters. Of course, in a printed book, it would be considered a normal sized first book of a series. I'm looking forward to following it some more.

I have not read too much of the story but Iwould like to give a review. This story is like a big breath of fresh air, and to clear some doubts, no this is not a communism and china is better than every other country propaganda filled story. The story follows our mc who has lived a life both in a modern world and a xianxia world and he finds the xianxia ways of doing things too bloody and wants to change things but he immediately does not change into a saint who has forgiven everyone who wronged him, he still hates them but puts aside his hate for the world he want to see. He also is not a stupid mc who thinks the power of love will solve everything, he calculates and always has a plan. You won't see him trusting everyone and he knows that not all will would want to see a peace full world and he will totally use to teach them a lesson or even kill them. Also some might is the world strongest at the start but he is far from it. he is a strong to stronger type mc. the novels from some common problems like too much info dumps some times and some other and you might find it a bit cheesy, specially the start(i didn't) but it is defintely worth reading since it is insanely rare premise, to want world peace but knowing love will not get you there and violence will be a large part of it.

These people saying the translation is bad - bullsh*t. It is indeed bad, but nowhere near unreadable. If you're an experienced Korean Novel reader, you should already be used to these one-sentence paragraphs and unusual prose. In terms of the plot, it's actually really good. I'm definitely interested.

Depending on the site some MTL aint that bad, they set up a table of names so that the TL will always use the same one which helps a lot. I remember reading Legendary Mechanic and Reverend Insanity when it was releasing on MTL, that wasn't bad at all actually.
Yeah I was talking bout the full word change ones where it goes from long chen to dragon dust, obv very easy once you've read enough and understand but for beginners half the sht is unknown what they're saying since it wasn't just names it could be places, things, abilities. Hell in some an ability goes from a like 4 letter word to 12 xD
