Warlock of Oceans: My Poseidon System

Chapter 127 Entrance Scaling Exams (Final)

Chapter 127 Entrance Scaling Exams (Final)

I'm gonna die. I'm gonna actually die. I'm going to die here.

I realized that if I ordered my classmates to kill his siblings or hurt them even more, this boy would just straight up kill me. There was no doubt in my mind that he was going to kill me. I had to escape. I had to leave.

"Tell me where they are unless you want me to cripple you for life. And if they even touch another hair on their body, I swear to every fucking god in this corrupted cosmos that I will annihilate every single ounce of your being."

"Y-yes…. Yes… the cave… th-the cave towards the north."

He glared at me for a couple of seconds, trying to determine if I was lying, and eventually left in the blink of an eye. He may have had some doubts, but I was so scared that I could only tell the truth. Everything but the truth was rid from my mind in that very moment.

(Cyrus POV)

As I looked over the cave hidden and tucked away deep into the walls of the testing grounds, I couldn't help but grit my teeth. But, before I got too rash and underestimated my opponents just like how I underestimated that sly little shit… I took in a deep breath and rid myself of all emotions.

Slowly, my entire body went cold and a familiar sensation of pure and utter serenity overcame my body. I felt completely at peace with my surroundings and while closing my eyes, I made sure to detect every single one of these kids who were supposedly torturing my siblings.

Tup… Tup… Tup… Tup…

My footsteps echoed against the solid dirt ground beneath me. The surrounding trees allowed the noise to resonate within the ears of my opponents. They weren't as timid as one might think as they were pretty large and strong, but that's all they had to them.

"Hey, that's the kid we were told to watch out for… and capture under any circumstance."

The two guards blocking the entrance to the cave edged towards me. Clearly, they were aware of my power, but I'm sure that was from a limited source of knowledge. As not only did I just acquire my previous skills, but my I now had a source of new energy and power: Aether.

[Aether Infusion] [Aether Creation]

My two daggers began to glow with a dim white light before a solid block of that light curled the tip of each blade into two sickles. I held them so tightly within my hands that the creaking of the choppy and rough leather began to echo with my footsteps.

"[Neptune]."

In less than a second, the two boys dropped to their knees. Hundreds of cuts lathered their skin and dug into their flesh. The bleeding was very minimal… yet this was exactly the point of the skill. Each cut was just barely vein deep, causing an excruciating pain with very little to practically no bleeding at all.

It was torture. A skill mean to torture the very unfortunate one unlucky enough to be on the receiving end of this skill. The pain was enough to satisfy my needs in my past life, but now, it was the perfect skill to use against these children who didn't know their fucking place.

"Hmmm… Hmmmm… Hmmm… London bridge is falling down… falling down… falling down… london bridge is falling down… my… fair… lady~"

The resonance of my singing was enough to send shivers down the spine of my opponents as once I entered, I met a few more children guardian the deep cellar. It looked to be an abandoned mineshaft, possibly created before they dug out this space to create a pseudo-fantasy world beneath the school.

"[Neptune]."

SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING

It seems I got a bit too aggressive as once I had reached the very end of the mineshaft, my blade was soaked in blood. But, if they were too fearful and backed off, pissing their pants and scurrying away, I didn't even bother following them…. I mean, where was the fun in that?

Creeeeeeeek… CLANG

As soon as I pushed open the wooden door, I blocked a sword which had way more force than anybody else I had encountered in this tunnel. And immediately, I saw a boy with long white hair and purple pupils so deep and enigmatic that you could only get pulled into their nebula gaze.

"So you're ranked third… shame on you. You allowed yourself to be bought out… shame on you," I repeated while effortlessly blocking the boy's attacks. And, for some reason, seeing how hard he tried while suppressing the fear deep inside of him made me respect him for just a split second. So, once he dived in, I lifted up my sickles and then faked a miss slash, allowing him to come deeper and fall right into my foot.

"*cough* *cough* *cough*... You… I-I'm sorry… p-please…"

"Shame on you," I repeated one more time before kicking him across the room, knocking him out from the blow… and then finally, I was face to face with two healers who trembled with the staffs in their hands. They held them out like they were swords, but in the end, were sliced to bits by my twin blades.

"P-Please… w-we were-"

"Paid off?" I interrupted, with my eyes slowly drifting to the three kids tied to their own respective chairs. A black cloth bag was placed over their heads, restricting their sight while their limbs were tied down.

"Y-Yes… w-we won't ever mess with you again…" One healer sighed, but the other jumped forward, her hands clinging to my torso as she fell to her knees.

"W-We were threatened! She said that if we didn't follow through with this… healing them each time their legs were broken that she would kill our parents. W-We aren't from special family… most of us aren't… we're powerless beneath her, so please… please take her down. Take care of that demon."

From what I could see, bits of lingering mana hung around the heads of my siblings. They had all passed out from shock, but they probably would have died if these two didn't ease their pain with a mind numbing skill.

"Thank you."

Slowly, I walked past them, allowing them to run away. They weren't lying. They were telling the pure and utter truth. Their heart beats may have been sporadic from panic, but they didn't fluctuate immensely as they spoke.

"You both still healed them even after they got injured… so, don't think you're completely innocent," I muttered, causing the two healers to yelp from down the hall. And even though I couldn't see them, just from where I stood, I could feel their immense guilt wash through the mineshaft. "And you three… fuck… I'm sorry."

I untied all of them and lifted the bags from their heads. Their faces were stained with tears and just seeing them made a… vein pop from my forehead. My teeth grinded against each other and an immense wave of rage filled up my very being.

My bloodlust whipped against the walls, causing chunks of stone to fly everywhere and as I carried all of them with my [Water Magic], the entire mine collapsed. I gave the other children who were still whimpering in pain some courtesy by creating a massive flood that washed them out of the mineshaft, saving their lives from the collapsing rocks.

"L-Let us help."

The two healers had waited patiently outside of the mineshaft, helping carry my siblings away as the elven woman directed a bunch of assistants to tend to the wounded and ease their pain.

Seeing me, still barely composed, she walked over as I was the only one who looked semi-decent. She grabbed onto my shoulder, attempting to pull me aside to have a talk with me about just what exactly had happened, but… I wasn't in the mood.

Slowly, I slid her hand off of my shoulder and glanced back at her. And it seems she saw something terrifyingly unhuman as she backed away, her entire face paling like she had just seen a ghost, a demon, or a monster.

"Ahem… l-later…" She stuttered before running back to attend to the injured children.

I, on the other hand, walked back into the forest, my bloodlust once more seeping out of my body. Trees toppled over as chips of wood scattered through the air. A massive drooling wolf of vengeance wrapped around my body, suppressing the power which was tearing up my surroundings.

"Hmmm… Hmmmm… Hmmm… London bridge is falling down… falling down… falling down… london bridge is falling down… my… fair… lady~... Kekeke… kekekekekeke… HAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Slowly, I swiped my long hair back into a slick back look while my entire face distorted into something full of emotions. But, as the sadistic smile let my sanity slip, I tore the wolf from off my shoulder and devoured it, causing blood to drip from my mouth egregiously.
