Chapter 165 Attack
Chapter 165 Attack
"What are you doing, love?" Lysandra's smile was dazzling, radiant; she was so beautiful. But her eyes were empty, jealous, filled with possessiveness. For a normal guy, feeling that gaze would be terrifying, but for Anthony, it was the most beautiful thing he could see.
Turning around, Anthony looked Lysandra directly in the eyes. She stood tall, watching him with those emotionless eyes. He placed his hands on her hips, a signal of expectation, waiting for Anthony's response, as if she were ready to challenge any word that might come out of his lips.
However, Anthony simply smiled, letting his expression speak for itself, and enveloped Lysandra in a comforting hug. She struggled in his arms, trying to free herself from his grasp, her face reflecting initial resistance. But with a quick move, Anthony captured her beautiful red lips in a kiss.
At first, Lysandra remained stiff, trying to resist the hug and the kiss Anthony offered her. However, as the minutes passed, something in her began to give way. The intensity of the kiss, the warmth of Anthony's arms around her, it all started to break down the barriers she had erected. Finally, she let herself be carried away by the moment.
Emily watched Charlotte with an inquisitive gaze, noticing her gesture of having her hands over her chest as if she were protecting herself. "Are you okay?" she asked with a concerned tone, her eyes reflecting genuine concern for her friend.
Charlotte snapped out of her reverie and met Emily's gaze, but then she diverted her eyes to the couple indulging in a kiss that seemed like they were devouring each other.
Lysandra had her arms around Anthony's neck, while he held her firmly by the hips, both lost in their own world of emotions and desire. "He didn't hurt you, did he?" Emily asked seriously, her gaze fixed on Charlotte's expression. Her friend's silence in response to that question made Emily's concern increase, her protective instincts kicking in immediately.
"No, he didn't do anything to me, we were just talking," Charlotte replied with a smile. Emily looked at her friend and nodded, looking at the two who continued kissing, she smiled. After a few minutes, they finally decided it was time to part ways.
The four of them chatted as they began to walk, visiting some shops and eating some things, but when night came, Anthony realized it was already 10 pm, with a sigh he separated from Lysandra, his sister, and Loli.
With only an hour left to get to Professor Athena's training, every minute seemed to go by much faster, his body trembled slightly just thinking about it. Among the shadows dancing in the hallways, he quickly slid towards the professor's office, golden eyes sharpening as they perceived movement inside her office.
Behind, sitting on a chair: "It's disrespectful to enter a woman's room without permission," resonated Professor Athena's voice, although her tone was adorned by a playful smile. Anthony responded to her gaze with serenity: "I miscalculated and appeared inside, my apologies, Professor," he apologized sincerely.
As Anthony offered his explanation, a cold sweat ran down his spine. He had been so absorbed in his own thoughts about the upcoming training that he hadn't noticed his direct entry into the office. Professor Athena's piercing gaze seemed to scrutinize his soul for the truth behind his words. After a few minutes, a small laugh came out of her lips: "You may sit," she said simply.
Anthony nodded and sat down, the room fell into absolute silence, a few minutes passed and the door rang from behind, the teacher gave her consent for them to enter, two people came out entered the office, Anthony's gaze met Ezequiel's gaze and a clash of looks could be felt, Anthony frowned at seeing Ezequiel, he could still remember how he tried to touch his wife, he really wanted to cut off his arm right now.
The teacher silently observed the young men's gaze and gave them a smile. "Well, let's go to the training field," she announced, breaking the tense silence that had enveloped the room. With determined steps, Professor Athena headed towards the exit, wearing the same outfit she had worn in the morning.
With a snap of her fingers, reality seemed to blur around them, and in the blink of an eye, they found themselves in another place.
Looking around, a wave of dizziness shook Anthony's stomach, cursing the sensation he had experienced so many times before. He closed his eyes tightly and patiently waited for it to pass, trying to regain the lost balance. When he finally opened his eyes again, he found himself in an open field, with no trees in sight and the ground covered in arid soil that stretched to the horizon.
"From now on, this place will be your third home. I'd start getting used to it, although there are no good views in what's here," declared Professor Athena, shrugging with a carefree expression. Although the sun had already set, a strange luminosity persisted in the place, defying the logic of the night. It was evident that some magic was at play, a detail that did not go unnoticed by the students. Read exclusive adventures at empire
Professor Athena moved to her right, and suddenly, she pulled out a series of weapons from between the folds of her outfit. With an elegant gesture, she handed a sword to Anthony, a spear to Ezequiel, and finally, a huge double-edged axe to Edward, all of them modest in quality and design.
The students received the weapons cautiously, Professor Athena took out a metal stick from her ring with a charming smile. She stood in front of the three young men, emanating an aura of serenity.
"Atack, but without using your weapon handling or footwork, and neither your aura. We'll do it like the ancient soldiers," announced Professor Athena as the metal stick danced between her fingers.
Ezequiel was the first to launch an attack, but before he could even get within 5 meters of the professor, his body was sent flying as a gush of blood spurted from his mouth. He flew about ten meters before falling unconscious. "Too slow," commented the professor indifferently, her golden eyes shifting to the two remaining students.
"Shit's already started," Anthony muttered, sweat beading on his forehead. Seeing Ezequiel's inert body, although he enjoyed seeing him in that state, he knew he would end up the same way.
