Chapter 158 Good luck!
Chapter 158 Good luck!
Anthony watched the screen in astonishment as his name stood out clearly in the first place on the list of the "Primal" class. Although he knew he had no special advantage or relationship to his position on the list, he found it impressive to see his name there. However, what caught his attention the most were all the names of the main and some secondary characters.
He hadn't had the chance to encounter any of them except for the damned Ezequiel. Anthony's expression turned grim at the thought of that bastard.
At that moment, Anthony found himself alone amidst the crowd. Lysandra, his wife, had to go to another campus because she was already in her second year. This situation left him surrounded by unfamiliar people, and after a few minutes of parting ways, he already began to miss his wife.
Recalling the structure of the academy, Anthony reflected on the large number of classes that existed after the top three. He calculated that considering each class consisted of 25 students, the top three classes housed a total of 75 students.
Extrapolating this number to the total number of classes after the top three, he estimated there would be around 200 classes in total, which would add up to an impressive total of 5000 students just in the magic and weapon handling section. However, he wondered how many more students there would be in the other faculties and areas of study at the academy.
Anthony contemplated the size and magnitude of the academy, amazed by its vast expanse and the variety of facilities it offered. It was more than just an educational institution; it was a city unto itself, complete with shops, hotels, markets, restaurants, and parks.
The academy provided everything needed to meet the needs of its students and residents, creating a vibrant and prosperous environment that rivaled that of a real city.
As he explored the "Star" and "Pegasus" classes, Anthony also noticed the names of some important characters in the plot. However, as he descended the list, he realized that most of the students were considered "extras," meaning people whose roles in the academy were less prominent. Still, he recognized that some of them still had valuable skills and contributions.
However, amid all these classes, Anthony was aware of a looming problem: the presence of cult infiltrators among the students. This was a serious concern, as these individuals posed a threat to the security and order of the academy.
Although locating all the infiltrators was a difficult task, Anthony knew the whereabouts of some of them, his plan was simple, to eliminate them silently and in the shadows, but of course, he couldn't do it all alone.
As Anthony immersed himself in his thoughts, he sensed a powerful presence that made him look towards a particular student. A slight smile formed on his lips as he saw him. This boy was tall, reaching the same height as Anthony, around 1.90 meters. He had long, wheat-colored blond hair and impressive musculature. His eyes, of an intense red color, radiated coldness and determination.
Although he wore a flexible suit, his appearance suggested dwarven heritage, although his height was due to his father, a being of sacred grade. This was Edward Ironforge, one of the most relevant male characters in the plot, with a Maximum-Gold rank.
Feeling Anthony's gaze on him, Edward turned his head, but Anthony stopped observing him before he could react completely. Nevertheless, Anthony was sure that Edward must have thought it was him who was looking at him, as they were the only students in the "Primal" class on that campus.
"Attention all students! Attention! All students must head towards their assigned number representing their class! In the next few minutes, numbers from 1 to 200 will appear on the ground, and students must go to their respective numbers depending on the class they were assigned to! Any student who gets the wrong number will be suspended from the academy for a week!"
The echo of the announcement reverberated throughout the campus, capturing the attention of all students, who stopped their activities to listen attentively. Among them was Anthony, who along with the other students began to head towards the numbers assigned to them.
In a campus that housed approximately a thousand people, anticipation was palpable in the air, and a murmur of excitement spread among the crowd.
As the minutes passed, anticipation grew. Finally, the designated numbers were revealed on the ground, each marking a specific meeting point. The students, in a collective ritual of verification, repeatedly ensured they were in the right place. However, one number in particular caught everyone's attention: number 1. Two individuals stood out on it, two youths of supernatural beauty.
One of them, with hair as white as snow and piercing red eyes, was recognized by all as Anthony Von Valeriano, a figure whose reputation was very bad, but his beauty was noteworthy. By his side, with hair as golden as wheat and eyes that seemed to burn with intensity, stood Edward Ironfroge. The five-meter distance they kept from the others was not enough to diminish their impact.
Those unlucky students who were in the vicinity of these two youths could barely withstand the overwhelming presence they radiated, feeling almost dizzy by their aura, some even began to tremble.
After an oddly quiet wait, a voice finally resonated through the entire campus. "Attention all students!" the voice proclaimed with authority, causing hearts to beat faster in anticipation. "You will be teleported to your respective class in the next few minutes! Once everyone is in their class, they must wait for their teacher, who will represent them in the upcoming academic years."
The words reverberated in the air, charged with excitement and anticipation. "His Majesty Emperor Gabriel wishes each of you the best of luck! The director also wishes you the best of luck! The academy welcomes all of you!"
"GUAAAAAA!" The students shouted with excitement upon hearing the campus announcement, at the same time the numbers beneath them began to glow, from one blink to another all the students had disappeared.
