She took off her clothes and lazily sank into the large bathtub sprinkled with rose petals, the temperature of the water just right – not too hot, just perfect. She let out a long sigh of relief, which seemed to wash away much of her fatigue.

She couldn't remember the last time she had been able to enjoy a hot bath like this.

For three years, over a thousand days and nights, dedicated to this research, her advisor, Dean Lu, had grown white-haired, and she herself had sacrificed all her youth.

She didn't even have the time for a proper bath, let alone the time for dating or enjoying life.
