Trapped in Paradise (In a Hentai World, as a Trap)

Chapter Vol. 1 Ch. 80

Chapter Vol. 1 Ch. 80

Early in the morning, Wen Yang yawned as he and Ning Chu walked out of the dormitory building.

He hadn’t slept well the night before; his mind was filled with questions and confusion about Ning Chu. But at least, before falling asleep, he had managed to cheer Ning Chu up.

However, Wen Yang had dreamt about Ning Chu again, making him feel awkward every time he looked at his roommate.

“Shaoqing and Wang Jie still haven’t come back, huh?” Ning Chu caught up with Wen Yang, holding his textbook in front of his chest to block the stares from passersby. He mumbled, “Are they planning to skip the second day of classes?”

Though the textbook managed to hide the now apple-sized swell on his chest, the way Ning Chu held it added a bit of intellectual and demure charm to his already soft, feminine aura.

“They’re probably already in the classroom.”

Wen Yang’s gaze frequently landed on Ning Chu, though he avoided direct eye contact.

Clearly a guy, yet more attractive than most girls.

Is he really a man?

Wen Yang’s thoughts drifted back to his dream as he observed the slight bounce of Ning Chu’s chest as he walked, the smooth, delicate arms devoid of any muscle, the slender, elegant shoulders, and the small, perky backside…

His dream from last night resurfaced, causing Wen Yang’s gaze to flicker as he quickly looked away.

When they arrived at the cafeteria, Wen Yang, as usual, bought himself a simple breakfast of pickled vegetables and rice porridge and got Ning Chu a portion of noodles and dumplings.

“I’ve sent you the money,” Ning Chu said.

“Got it.”

Ning Chu never took advantage of Wen Yang, not even for something as small as a bottle of water. He always transferred the money right away.

There’s no fun in tricking poor people—tricking Zhang Shaoqing and watching his shameless face twist in frustration is much more entertaining.

The cafeteria was especially busy before class, with students packed two deep in front of every food stall. Ning Chu propped his chin on one hand as he ate, his eyes scanning the crowd.

Not bad, no girls are eyeing Wen Yang.

While he used to see disrupting the plot as his duty, now Ning Chu only wanted to avoid it, to not trigger any events.

Thinking about the little bean-sized thing down below, and how it seemed to be turning into internal equipment, Ning Chu’s expression darkened.

Maybe next time the plot advances, he’ll fully turn into a girl, or maybe the time after that… who knows, except for that cursed fate.

But being stuck between genders, like some kind of freak, wasn’t a great feeling either.

He considered what to do if he triggered another plot event—maybe just let it be. Even if Wen Yang loses his virginity, Ning Chu wouldn’t intervene… who knows if the next time might turn him into a full-fledged girl.

“Here, you can have the rest.”

Having finished his noodles, Ning Chu pushed the remaining dumplings toward Wen Yang.

Wen Yang had gotten used to this and naturally picked up the disposable spoon Ning Chu had used, scooping up a dumpling and slurping it down along with the soup.

Ning Chu frowned slightly but said nothing, sighing as he propped his chin up with both hands, lost in his thoughts.

“Hey! Wen Yang!”

A classmate from the neighboring dorm, the one who had invited Wen Yang to play basketball the other day, came over with a sly grin, asking, “How are things going with Shan Shan?”

Wen Yang paused, his expression tightening as he looked at the classmate. “What?”

“How far did you get? What base are you on?”

“Nowhere, I deleted her contact.”

“What?”

Seeing the classmate’s reaction, Wen Yang frowned even more deeply. After the classmate left, he turned to Ning Chu and asked, “Do you think Shan Shan was targeting me all along?”

The author: A Sorrowful Swing

“Hmm, that classmate just now was probably a wingman sent by Shan Shan,” Ning Chu mumbled. “What’s his name again?”

It was only the second day of classes, and Ning Chu hadn’t made a habit of visiting other dorms, so he only knew his own roommates and the troublemaking girls in their class.

As for the others, some he knew by name but couldn’t match to a face, and some he recognized but didn’t know their names.

On the way to the classroom after breakfast, they met up with Zhang Shaoqing and Wang Jie.

“You guys missed out last night! Damn! There was a pole dance show!”

“I even got two girls to drink with us, but Wang Jie was such a wuss—he didn’t even dare touch them!”

“Damn! My head still hurts. I’m just going to show up for roll call and then head back to the dorm to sleep.”

As they walked to the classroom, Zhang Shaoqing enthusiastically described the wild night they had. Wen Yang’s curiosity was piqued, but he also felt a bit nervous.

Then Ning Chu kicked him in the shin.

“I’m not really interested.” Wen Yang immediately quelled his curiosity, putting on the air of a gentleman. “Bars are noisy and chaotic. What if someone drugs you? Who would you complain to?”

“I’m not a girl, what’s there to be scared of?” Zhang Shaoqing grinned as he playfully elbowed Wang Jie. “Why were you such a coward last night?”

Wang Jie, looking sincere, replied, “I already have someone I like, so I don’t mess with other girls.”

“Who?”

“A high school classmate. She’s studying at another university.”

“Whoa, a true romantic!” Zhang Shaoqing exclaimed in surprise before teasing, “She wouldn’t know, though.”

Wang Jie stubbornly shook his head.

Listening to their conversation, Ning Chu was surprised to learn that Wang Jie already had a girl he liked.

So that explains the plot glitch… When the plot’s girl moves into the boys’ dorm and gets caught in all kinds of compromising situations, Wang Jie wasn’t blind or stupid—he was just in love with someone else, which is why he stayed unaffected.

If only Wen Yang had the same attitude as Wang Jie.

Now that’s what I call genuine decency—staying loyal and not even glancing at other girls. In the world of this smutty novel, someone with such pure and steadfast character could almost bring tears to Ning Chu’s eyes.

But Wen Yang, despite seeming decent on the surface, was actually quite lively inside. Given the chance, he’d probably turn into a harem-seeking jerk.

Luckily, he’s still a virgin and a bit of a coward.

The morning was an English class.

Zhang Shaoqing attended just long enough to get marked present before sneaking out, while Wang Jie, though still not fully sober, stayed and struggled to focus.

Ning Chu, faced with English, immediately decided to give up. He had returned all that knowledge to the teacher long ago; he couldn’t remember anything beyond a few common words. His vocabulary was worse than when he was in middle school.

Resting his cheek against the desk, his chubby face squished flat, Ning Chu watched Wen Yang, who was diligently taking notes.

Even though the smutty novel didn’t mention Wen Yang’s academic habits, it seemed he took his studies seriously. He sat up straight, fully focused, occasionally jotting down notes or highlighting key points in his book.

Even during breaks, Wen Yang would sit and study English rather than play on his phone.

Seeing his story’s protagonist being so diligent, Ning Chu felt a twinge of guilt. Then he closed his eyes, deciding not to think about it anymore.

English is just torture! There’s no way I’m going to learn it again!

“Shall we go to the library at lunchtime? I want to borrow some books to pass the time,” Wen Yang suddenly asked.

Ning Chu paused. He remembered a plotline where Wen Yang flirted with a girl in the library, but it didn’t seem too risky.

“Alright.”

Edited a section of the plot and deleted several chapters.

If I’m slow with writing today, there might only be this one chapter.
