Chapter 136 Are You Sure You Want to Fight Me?

September 1st, a common school start date, and Wu'an University was no exception. Early that morning, Lin Tian got up to pack his belongings.

"Lin Tian, are you ready?" While Lin Tian was still organizing his clothes at home, Bu Mengting's voice came from outside.

"Yes, almost ready!" Lin Tian replied before lowering his head to continue arranging his clothes.

"Don't forget to pack your shoes!" Shi Qing, watching Lin Tian busy himself, reminded from the side.

Today was Lin Tian's university opening day, and Shi Qing didn't go to work, having taken the day off expressly to accompany Lin Tian to the school.

"Got it." Lin Tian responded, checked over everything, felt there was nothing left to bring, then zipped up the suitcase and lifted it.

Holding the suitcase, Lin Tian looked at Shi Qing with an expression of resignation: "Mom, I told you there's no need for you to send me off. It's such a hassle, and I'm not going that far away!"

The foursome then headed downstairs.

As the car entered the campus, Lin Tian looked out the window with eyes full of curiosity.

Willow trees were planted along the riverbank, their slender branches draping down elegantly. Under the willows, there was a green lawn sprinkled with white wildflowers.

"Yeah!" Bu Mengting nodded repeatedly, her face full of anticipation as she gazed at the campus outside: "This school is so big!"

"Of course, universities are supposed to be big. If it weren't for the expansive area, it wouldn't be located in the suburbs!" Li Ming said with a laugh as he drove the car slowly.

Unsure of where the registration was, Li Ming stopped the car to ask a passing student.

"The registration is at the gymnasium, let's go there," Li Ming said once he got back in the car.

Then they registered, collected materials, and were assigned to dormitories.

Since they weren't in the same dormitory, Lin Tian had to part ways with Bu Mengting.

When Lin Tian arrived at his assigned dormitory, the room was still empty; apparently, his three roommates were not there yet.

After arranging his things and making his bed, Lin Tian and Shi Qing went out to meet up with Bu Mengting and the others.

Afterward, the four ate lunch together.

Having finished lunch, Li Ming and Shi Qing gave some instructions and left first. After all, they both had other matters to attend to, and the place wasn't far from the city.

After seeing the adults off, Lin Tian turned to Bu Mengting: "Do you want to hang out?"

"Maybe next time. I've made plans to play with my roommates this afternoon!" Bu Mengting shook her head.

"They must be here by now," Bu Mengting said with a giggly smile.

"Alright then! You have new friends, and you're already forgetting about your man!" Lin Tian said with a resigned look towards Bu Mengting.

"What! My man!" Bu Mengting said, her face blushing as she playfully punched Lin Tian.

"There you go, you're even getting shy!" Lin Tian laughed heartily.

After fooling around with Bu Mengting for a while, Lin Tian walked her back to her dormitory.

Having dropped Bu Mengting off at her dorm, Lin Tian wandered around on his own for a bit, feeling somewhat bored before deciding to head back to his dormitory.

Approaching his dorm door, Lin Tian was surprised to find it open, and from inside came the sound of laughter and chatter.

After a moment of hesitation, Lin Tian walked in.

The moment Lin Tian entered, the room fell quiet as all eyes turned towards him.

After a brief pause, a chubby guy looked at Lin Tian and chuckled: "And you are?"

"I'm also from this dorm, I'm on bed number four!" Lin Tian pointed to his bed.

"Oh! Speak of the devil, we were just wondering where our last brother had gone!" The chubby guy laughed heartily, and his laughter was very contagious, making him seem like a jovial Buddha.

"Really?" Lin Tian asked, taken aback.

"Yeah, we were just talking about you!" said another person as he walked over. This guy was wearing a full Armani suit and when he stood up Lin Tian realized how tall he was - almost 1.9 meters.

"I'm Feng Jiabao, what's your name?" Feng Jiabao said cheerfully, patting Lin Tian on the shoulder.

"I'm Lin Tian," Lin Tian introduced himself to the three guys.

"I'm Guo Rong," the chubby guy said with a wide grin.

"And I'm Lin Tao," the last person to speak was a guy with thick glasses, seeming somewhat introverted.

"Where were you just now? We didn't see you around," Feng Jiabao asked Lin Tian, still chuckling.

"Just went out for a wander," Lin Tian replied offhandedly.

After that, the four of them started chatting in the dorm. All being young, they found common ground quickly and hit it off right away.
