No Martial Master could have possibly survived it.

"You dirty bastard!" The Terrampager gritted his teeth. Before him was the battered and broken figure of the Dawnbringer.

His skin was ripped.

His muscles were torn.

His bones were broken.

And yet, he was on his feet.

He was very much alive.

A partial Weaving Blood rushed into action, healing Rui's battered and broken body rapidly.

"What's the matter?" The blood-red suns in his eyes shined with blinding brightness. "Why did you hold back?"

The air tingled.

It tingled with peril.

The Terrampager's eyes flared with fury. "Don't play dumb with me."

A smile cracked at the edge of Rui's mouth. "You're not nearly as stupid as I thought."

His judgment was accurate.

With the combination of the Scriptures of Terra and Gigabrain, the Flux Earther technique was especially enhanced. It allowed Rui to directly convert much of Martial Sage's tremendous power into fuel for Domain Driller, allowing him to break past the Martial Sage's erected domain.

Doing so would genocide all sentient life within an enormous radius that couldn't withstand his Martial Embodiment.

Rui knew that this weakness would come into play, and he was right. This Martial Sage was unable to deploy his full might when Rui weaponized the circumstances to be in his favor. This weakness was proving to be fatal for the Martial Sage.

Additionally, Rui knew he definitely couldn't kill him due to the political protection he had. At most, he was willing to capture him. If that was the case, then this, too, was a weakness that Rui could exploit to defeat his opponent.

Of course, that was assuming his opponent was sane and rational.

In this case, Rui wasn't entirely sure.

Regardless, with these conditions in place, Rui determined that there was a possibility of victory.

Victory over a Martial Sage, as a Martial Master.

A historically unprecedented feat.

An accomplishment he sought to achieve.

After coming this far, he would not be satisfied with anything less. And thus, for the first time since the battle began, Rui moved from his spot.

In the blink of an eye, Rui arrived at the Martial Sage, launching one of the most powerful attacks of his entire life.

"Yin-Yang Terra Surge."

A thundering impact struck the Martial Sage with devastating power. The technique was a fusion of the Yin-Yang Spear and a reverse Flux Earther, smoothly drawing energy effortlessly through the optimal path of action.

An extraordinary attack.

And yet, it wasn't enough.

The Terrampager grinned as he blocked the attack with a single finger. "Is that all you have?"

Chills crawled across Rui's skin as a thundering Sage-level attack surged towards him, threatening to destroy him.

And yet, it missed.

The fist narrowly missed Rui's jaw as the land beneath the Terrampager's feet sunk just a few centimeters just in time to sabotage the attack.

Words could not begin to describe the kind of frustration that the Terrampager felt at being unable to so much as even touch his opponent.

He didn't understand how Rui was able to bend earth so extraordinarily quickly but also so extraordinarily silently.

Anybody who had ever bent earth knew that earth-bending was messy, clunky, and noisy.

It came with forewarnings and aftermath and was slow and clunky

And yet, when the Dawnbringer manipulated earth, it was as though the earth moved by itself, adhering to his will of its own volition.

"Soul Retcon."

The Terrampager's eyes widened as he felt a hint of peril from his opponent for the first time in his entire life. A thundering Yin-Yang Terra Surge flew towards him with astronomically superior mastery than before.

The Terrampager's eyes widened as the sheer power of the attack far exceeded what he was able to block with a single finger, being forced to deploy his Sage-level defense for the first time.

The Terrampager gritted his teeth as Rui successfully evaded three of his attacks thrice in a row with the slightest margins. BOOOOOM BOOOOOM BOOOOOM!!!!!

With the Soul Retcon, the power of his already extraordinary striking techniques had reached unprecedented levels. Having mastered the technique his entire life, he had gained a truly transcendent degree of mastery over the Yin-Yang Terra Surge.

Every cell, every molecule in his body seemed to move in unison, allowing for a realm of efficiency that transcended even Martial Masters, drawing energy from the very root of materia.

And yet, not even that was enough to overcome a Martial Sage.

"A spark cannot compare to a flame," the Terrampager's cold voice as he unerringly defended against Rui's tremendous attacks. "If not for the fact that I can't allow my people or you to die, this battle would have been over a long time a—"

"Void of Water," Rui's voice was calm and composed.

It was calm and composed, unlike the maelstrom of information that converged upon the Martial Sage, weighing down on him with tremendous weight.

"Rgghh…!" the Terrampager gritted his teeth under the weight of all the information crashing down on him.

And yet, a chilling grin appeared on his face.

"Now, I don't need to worry about my people."

With the information of Rui's Martial Embodiment being converged exclusively on the Martial Sage, there was no way that it could genocide the people of the Nest of Terra.

A gruesome grin of malice appeared on the Terrampager's face.

"I will enjoy crushing you with my full power."

Or as much of it as he could possibly deploy.
