Chapter 1844 The True War

?Chapter 1844 The True War

"Let's go."

Under Liora's order, the three Velcrian Leaders moved, all of them appearing next to Ember, waiting for Kaelith to come out.

By now, Ember had explained the situation to the rest of the women as well, and the moment they found out that one of the enemy leaders had entered Ember's Shadow, the women couldn't help but pity the poor bastard.

Of course, they didn't think about the man for too long and continued what they were doing. However, the moment they saw the three Velcrian surrounding Ember, as if waiting for something, they turned their attention back to it.

The women could feel it. This was the final moment, and the actual War was about to start.

The three Velcrian Leaders frowned in confusion.

From what they knew, Kaelith was never the merciful type, nor did he like to waste his time playing with his opponent. If it was a target he wanted to kill, he would kill them as soon as possible.

Then why...

Why was this woman still alive?

The three leaders glanced at each other, confused.

Suddenly, Liora noticed Ember staring at her.

"Ember, the enem-"

The Seraphyte tried to talk. Ember, however, completely ignored her words and turned back toward the battlefield, giving orders to the soldiers.

With the Leader back, the efficiency of the Velcrian soldiers increased again. The Tandris soldiers continued to fall at a scary rate, and Liora, who observed all that, couldn't help but frown in confusion.

What was happening?

Why was Ember still alive?

Why hadn't Kaelith made a move yet?

Actually, where was that damn Dreadborn? "Liora."

Suddenly, the Seraphyte heard a voice.

She glanced at Ember, who had called her, this time without a hint of respect in her "While we were not allies, and I wasn't expecting anything from the beginning.

It is still disappointing to see how quickly you abandoned me to die!" "No, I did no-"

Liora was quick to try and defend herself. Ember, however, just laughed out loud.

"It is alright, do not fret. I won't go back on my words. I will help you win this War. Actually, I already achieved my mission by taking out one of the three enemies you were worried about."

At those words, the three Velcrian Leaders widened their eyes in disbelief.

"Y-You killed Kaelith!?"

Elaris questioned, unable to believe what she just heard.

Ember, however, completely ignored her words and walked away.

"Rejoice, the War is yours.

Go and get the other two on your own.

I will deal with the rest, but after this is over, do not expect to keep any relationship with our party whatsoever."

"Hey you! Answer me!"

Elaris called out, only to be completely ignored by the General again. The Sylvanix decided to follow her, however, Kaelgran grabbed her arm and shook his head with a solemn look on his face.

Liora, on the other hand, recalled something.

'As for Shadow Walk, well, if they try to move in your shadow, let them.

I wanna see what happens!

These were the words that pink-haired woman used while she was talking about the Dreadborns. The rest of these women laughed back then, and while Liora did find it strange, unable to understand what she meant by that, she didn't think too much about it.

Now, however...

She couldn't help but stare at these women's shadows, countless questions entering her mind. Once again, her mind recalled another detail she decided not to think too much about before.

"Those women are much stronger than we think.

Do you remember when I used my Aura to suppress Granson, my son?

That girl was near Granson when I used my Aura. Even if I didn't intentionally target.

At the very least, she should have fallen on her knees if not directly collapsed on the ground like Granson did.

But...

My Aura didn't even faze her.

That woman didn't even react to it.

Liora gulped, and in an instant, the words, 'After this is over, do not expect to keep any relationship with our party whatsoever, became much heavier.

The Seraphyte felt like she would soon regret her actions. To correct her wrongs, she thought of going to Ember and talking to her. But as she glanced at her, she saw two beings she recognized very quickly standing in front of her.

The two remaining leaders of the Tandris.

Inferath Ragnorok, the Leader of the Inferniks.

And Malcharon Nyxshade, the Leader of the Nightveils.

In an instant, Liora appeared behind Ember, not wanting to make the same mistake again. Elaris and Kaelgran followed her actions and appeared behind Ember as well.

The three Primordials were prepared to protect the General. After all, now it was a 3 vs 2; it was a battle they could never lose. The Velcrian Primordials were confident.

"Where is he?"

Inferath questioned directly as he stared at Ember.

However, before Ember could answer, Liora stepped in between them.

"She is not your opponent, I am."

"Go back when I am being nice, Seraphyte."

Inferath narrowed his eyes.

"Make me."

Liora didn't back down either.

"Heh. It was getting boring, I agree."

Kaelgran grinned as he clenched his giant fists. Then, with a grin on his face, he questioned,

"Why is there just the two of you?

Where's the last one?

Hidden somewhere?"

He laughed out loud, and the enemy Primordials could feel their mouths twitching.

Malcharon spoke, however, before he could complete his sentence,

BOOOM

Kaelgran's Aura burst out. He stared at the two Primordials and,

"Do your worst."

He was ready for it.

He was ready for War!

But then suddenly, Inferath sighed as he closed his eyes, his voice heavy with

frustration.

"We did what you told us to do, but now we're unable to connect with Kaelith. I can

still sense him-trapped inside this woman's shadow, unable to come out. This wouldn't have happened if you hadn't insisted we bring her onto our side.

Since it's your fault we're in this mess, I hope you can help us out."

Everyone else frowned, confused by the Infernik's words.

Who was he talking to?

Before anyone could ask,

BOOM

An overwhelming Aura burst out, alerting the Velcrian Leaders.

'A Primordial...'

The three of them narrowed their eyes.

They finally realized it.

Why the two Tandris Leaders were so confident despite being outnumbered.

The Velcrian Leaders, however, were still calm. It was still a 3 vs 3; they could still win.

Yep, they raised a flag.

BOOM

Another Aura burst out, as strong as before.

"A-Another one...?

Four Primordials...?"

Kaelgran's body shook. However,

BOOM BOOM

Two more joined the fray.

The air grew heavier with each pulse of power. It was as if Tandris itself was crving

"This isn't possible..."

Liora muttered, her composure cracking. Even the soldiers, who were overpowering

their enemies, froze.

Just as the Velcrians began to adjust to the oppressive energy, another wave hit.

BOOM BOOM BOOM

Three more Auras blazed into existence.

"They are all Primordials..."

Ember murmured, her expression grim.

As if her words were a trigger, more Auras erupted in rapid succession.

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM

The battlefield trembled. The soldiers from both Tandris and Velcria fell to their knees,

unable to stand up.

The Velcrian Leaders had solemn looks on their faces, their bodies trembling as cold

sweat poured down their faces.

One, two, three... There were a total of seventeen new Primordials who had just appeared out of

nowhere.

The "True War,'

It ended before it even began.
