Strongest Spirit Beast Master Family

Chapter 380 Soul Kun

Chapter 380 Soul Kun

Blaze Regret's expression grew colder. The presence of such a large number of Sand Vipers was unusual unless someone was deliberately manipulating the situation.

For instance, using wind based spiritual techniques to force the Sand Vipers out from underground, which was exactly what Blaze Regret was facing.

"Allow me to introduce myself, I am Soul Kun."

The man hovering in the air smiled down at Blaze Regret, his face full of sarcasm.

"Someone from the Soul family," Blaze Regret muttered, his voice dripping with coldness.

No wonder he had encountered such an unexpected situation upon entering; someone had been orchestrating this from the shadows all along.

"Don't look at me like that. If you beg, perhaps I'll help collect your remains later," Soul Kun chuckled, his gaze shifting slightly. He glanced down, a playful look crossing his face. "It seems you're destined to meet your end here today. Even such a massive creature has been forced out."

"Whoosh!"

As Soul Kun finished speaking, the ground in front of Blaze Regret suddenly split open. A colossal figure, about ten feet long, emerged with cascading soil, creating a breathtaking sight. Its menacing triangular pupils locked onto Blaze Regret, exuding a chilling aura.

A foul stench permeated the air.

It was the Sand Viper King, a Ninth Stage High Imperial grade spirit beast with earth attributes!

The colossal Sand Viper King, entirely brown in color, was covered with scales resembling shattered rocks. Its chilling triangular pupils emitted an icy aura that could send shivers down one's spine. With a light step back, Soul Kun retreated several hundred meters, gleefully watching the Sand Viper King emerge from the ground. To him, this was an unexpected delight.

With his strength as an eighth level spirit Imperial master, combined with the numerous Sand Vipers, there was a possibility of killing Blaze Regret, although it was not guaranteed. However, with the appearance of the Sand Viper King, that possibility had evidently increased several times over.

"I wonder how much the Kartis Family will reward me for taking him down," Soul Kun mused, his eyes gleaming as he gazed at Blaze Regret, as if he were looking at a rare treasure.

"Hiss!"

The scarlet snake tongue flicked lightly as the Sand Viper King slowly slithered around Blaze Regret's position, encircling him and Red tightly within its elongated body in no time. Beneath its massive form, several Sand Vipers were crushed, their blood splattering and staining the soil red, yet the Sand Viper King remained indifferent, as if it couldn't care less.

A flash of cold light passed through its eyes as the Sand Viper King slightly raised its head before swiftly shooting downwards, its foul mouth wide open, viciously aiming to bite Blaze Regret.

Just as the Sand Viper King's fangs were only half a foot from Blaze Regret's head, Red, enveloped in pale yellow flames, darted over like lightning. Its gleaming claws collided fiercely with the Sand Viper King diving downwards.

"Clang!"

A sound akin to metal clashing rang out, and a fiery ripple rapidly spread outward. The Sand Vipers caught in this ripple were directly severed in two, their cuts smooth as a mirror.

Seeing Red entangled with the Sand Viper King, the surrounding Sand Vipers immediately redirected their bloodthirsty, greedy gaze towards Blaze Regret. Their tails flicked as they launched themselves toward the center en masse.

"Sun Flame Wall!"

Feeling the bloody wind enveloping him from all directions, Blaze Regret's expression turned serious. He thrust his hands forward, and scorching pale yellow spiritual energy quickly spread, forming a flaming shield around him as the center.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

One by one, the Sand Vipers relentlessly crashed against the Sun Flame Wall. Inside, Blaze Regret's forehead gradually became slick with sweat. If it were any other ninth level spirit Imperial master, they likely would have been unable to withstand such a fierce onslaught and would have succumbed to having their blood drained dry.

Even for him, despite consuming a pill, he could only maintain this defense for a maximum of half a quarter of an hour. After all, the speed of refining the pill couldn't keep up with the rapid depletion of his spiritual energy.

"It's still a bit too slow."

With a faint wind swirling at his feet, Soul Kun glanced at the fierce battle between Red and the Sand Viper King, shrugged helplessly, and then smiled at Blaze Regret, who was surrounded by the swarm of snakes. "In that case, I'll do something good to spare you some suffering."

"Wind Motion Technique!"

At the moment the last syllable fell, Soul Kun's eyes sharpened. A pale cyan wind glow coiled around his palm as he swung it down fiercely towards Blaze Regret below.

"Whoosh!"

As Soul Kun's hand swung down, a tornado infused with violent energy struck heavily around Blaze Regret. Instantly, the ground beneath him spun even more rapidly.

"Not good!"

Feeling the earth writhing beneath his feet, Blaze Regret's expression shifted slightly. Just as he intended to summon the Ice Control Irenix to break through the Sand Viper swarm, the Sand Viper King, who had been entangled with Red, suddenly descended ominously, burrowing headfirst into the ground. Its powerful tail coiled tightly around Blaze Regret's waist.

In the next moment, the Sand Viper King, with Blaze Regret in its grip, vanished from the area, leaving behind only a dark, terrifyingly deep pit among the swarm of snakes, its destination unknown.

"Roar!"

Seeing Blaze Regret disappear without a trace, Red swiftly darted to the edge of the dark pit, anxiously peering down. Finding no trace, its eyes, filled with murderous intent, suddenly turned towards Soul Kun in midair.

"Your spirit master is about to die. Why don't you join him?"

Soul Kun chuckled as he waved his hand, causing a figure entirely composed of wind energy to slowly materialize beside him.

The figure was roughly the size of an adult human, with its lower portion resembling a spiraling whirlwind. Its two rotating wind arm blades were exceptionally thick, surrounded by small wind vortices that whipped up fierce gusts.
