It wobbled and began its descent toward the sandy sea below.

This space fortress belonged to the Kermoine Serpent Warlock Clan.

The Verdant Spring Space Fortress, along with another fortress from the Kermoine Serpent Warlock Clan, had set sail two months prior and were not currently in Sandstorm World.

As the fortress descended, a dark, colossal figure suddenly appeared over the Magus World base.

It was Black Oblivion, who had revealed his true form, ready for battle.

At least one-third of the value of the enslaved creatures in that space fortress belonged to him, and Black Oblivion, known for his greed, could not stand by and let it crash.

From the moment the space fortress began its forced descent to Black Oblivion’s sudden appearance in the sky—everything happened in the blink of an eye.

Sein and the other mages, seasoned and elite as they were, quickly snapped out of their confusion and got ready for battle.

The magic beasts stationed within the base were slower to react, but when Black Oblivion’s thunderous dragon roar and Milena’s powerful tiger roar resounded in the sky, all the beasts knew their next course of action.

Sein quickly reacted and instructed Eileen, Faye, and Selina—mages who were still at the Rank One life level—to remain within the magic tower.

The sudden nature of the attack meant that while the Divine Tower of Verdant Spring mages had mobilized, they were still largely fighting independently.

The command center could not provide detailed orders to everyone in such a short time.

By using the magic tower as their base, these Rank One female mages could harness combat power far beyond their usual capabilities.

Additionally, with support from the fox maiden, mermaid, Heisse and the others, the relatively weaker female mages could defend themselves for the time being.

As a powerful Rank Two mage of the Divine Tower of Verdant Spring, Sein had no intention of cowering in such a crisis.

Since Sandstorm World had not posed much of a challenge to conquer and occupy, the mages of the Divine Tower of Verdant Spring had not built their base to an exceptional height.

The entire west side of the fortress had fewer than twenty magic towers as the area was dominated by large, square warehouses filled with valuable resources and supplies.

At this moment, the fortress base was under attack from all directions on the west side.

Every available creature was engaged in nearby battles, making it unlikely that additional support would come to Sein and his group any time soon.

The arrival of Sein and his team helped to alleviate the pressure on the mages stationed on the west side significantly.

Although they were few in number, they were all elite fighters whose combat power far surpassed that of ordinary Rank Two creatures.

Faced with the onslaught of the Wild Gorilla Army, Sein and his group knew they had to act quickly to push the attackers out of the fortress base.

Sia’s performance was the most exceptional among them all.

In her devil form, she wielded a heavy black sword longer than her own body and charged ahead into the battle.

The flame cloak Sia wore was a piece of magic equipment crafted and gifted to her by Sein.

The cloak could be shaped with the power of flame, and at this moment, it clung to Sia’s devil wings, transforming them into two massive wings of fire.

Sein also activated his Flame Demon form.

This transformation was more suited for close combat than the standard elemental body typical of Rank Two mages.

Though he possessed a powerful constitution, Sein chose not to engage in direct physical combat like Sia.

Instead, he wielded his magic rod and unleashed a powerful barrage of magic spells, enveloping the battlefield in a storm of elemental energies.
