Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You

Vol. 3 Ch. 3

Vol. 3 Ch. 3

Rosvisser took Rebecca to a quiet riverside path, where the two of them strolled leisurely, chatting as they went.

And when it comes to bonding between girls, nothing works better than gossip.

“Leon has a thing for silver-haired girls. That much I know,” Rosvisser began. “Hmm... Do you have any little secrets about him that only you classmates would know?”

When Rosvisser first met Tiger, the old man had shared a few embarrassing stories and lesser-known quirks about Leon from a fatherly perspective.

But if she wanted to truly uncover Leon's most humiliating moments from his school days, she had to rely on his classmates for that kind of juicy information.

And Rebecca wasn’t just any classmate—after graduation, she had been assigned to Leon’s Dragon Slayer squad. Their relationship was close, to say the least. So, there had to be a treasure trove of secrets Rebecca was hiding.

What? You ask why the Dragon Queen is still so keen on digging up dirt on her husband, even after all these years of marriage?

Don’t ask. This queen has always enjoyed a little scandal.

“Secrets only we classmates would know, huh... Let me think.”

Rebecca stroked her chin, recalling the past.

After a moment, she raised a finger. “Oh! There’s one. Back when we were in school, the captain got a lot of love letters. Most of them, he tossed without even reading, but there was this one... he hesitated before throwing it away. You know about that, right?”

Rosvisser nodded.

“That letter came from one of his senior classmates. Silver hair, tall, super pretty,” Rebecca said, getting animated as she recounted the story.

Rosvisser’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Rebecca quickly corrected herself, “Ahem, but not as pretty as you, Sister-in-law! She couldn’t hold a candle to you, not even ten of her!”

Though Rebecca acted wild, she had a sharp sense of timing.

Rosvisser chuckled lightly, covering her mouth. “Hmm, go on.”

Rebecca opened her mouth to continue but suddenly paused, realizing something. She then asked cautiously, “By the way, Sister-in-law, you... you don’t get jealous a lot, do you?”

Rosvisser raised an eyebrow. The fact that Rebecca was treading so carefully suggested that this story might be loaded with jealousy-inducing content.

*Oh, this should be fun,* thought Rosvisser.

“I’m the Queen of the Silver Dragons, not some petty woman. Why would I get jealous so easily?” she answered with a smile.

Rebecca was suspicious. “Really?”

“Of course! As queen, I’m very open-minded.”

Hearing that, Rebecca glanced at Rosvisser’s ample chest and then down at her own flat figure.

Yep, definitely open-minded.

“Alright, if you say so. Here’s the story!”

“Go ahead.”

*High emotional intelligence:* “I don’t get jealous.”

*Low emotional intelligence:* “I already made sure to secure my man before jealousy even had a chance.”

“So, one time, our academy held a social dance. Everyone was free to choose their dance partners.

"I’m pretty short, so no one wanted to dance with me. Martin doesn’t like socializing, so he didn’t dance either. The two of us just sat on the side, drinking and spying on the captain.”

“Oh, at the time, he wasn’t our captain yet, but Leon Casmod was already a big name at the academy.”

“A lot of girls asked him to dance, but, predictably, he turned them all down.”

“But then!” Rebecca got even more excited.

“When that silver-haired senior asked him to dance, he said yes!”

“They only danced one song that night, but it was all anyone could talk about for weeks at the academy!”

Rebecca finished her story with great enthusiasm, but throughout, Rosvisser maintained her graceful steps and elegant posture.

If Rebecca had paid closer attention, she might have noticed that Rosvisser’s tail, which had been dragging casually behind her, was now slightly raised.

Dragons only raise their tails when their emotions are stirred.

But alas, Rebecca wasn’t a dragon expert. She couldn’t read these subtle signs.

All she wanted was to share her captain’s embarrassing past with her gorgeous sister-in-law. Was that so wrong?

“And then?” Rosvisser asked softly.

“And then? Well, the silver-haired senior thought she was the one girl in a sea of admirers who had managed to win over Leon Casmod’s heart. The fact that he’d agreed to dance with her was proof enough for her.”

Rebecca stuffed her hands in her pockets and continued, “So she confessed her feelings. And, as you might expect, he rejected her.”

“He danced with her, but still turned her down?” Rosvisser asked.

“Yep, and guess what? His reason for rejecting her was actually the dance itself.”

“Oh? How so?”

“Later, when the captain told us about his almost non-existent love life, he mentioned why he rejected that silver-haired senior.”

“In simple terms, she might have looked his type, but her personality didn’t match what he was looking for at all.”

“During the dance, the captain could feel that she was following his lead completely. Even when he messed up a step, she went along with it, making the same mistake.”

“He didn’t like that feeling.”

“He believes that in a normal relationship, both people should be equals. But the girls at the academy treated him like some kind of unattainable star, and that made him really uncomfortable.”

Rebecca paused for a moment, then smiled wryly.

“But you’ve lived with him for a long time, Sister-in-law. You must know what he’s like.”

“That guy might love to show off sometimes, but he’s truly excellent in every way. He’s responsible and has a good heart. So how could anyone not lower themselves a little when pursuing someone that amazing, right?”

Rebecca stretched her arms, deliberately drawing out her final words.

Rosvisser glanced at her, intrigued, waiting for her conclusion.

“In the end, there’s only one woman in this world who could ever conquer Leon Casmod.”

“Who’s that?”

“You.”

Rebecca smiled, her eyes narrowing. “I don’t know you very well yet, but I can already sense your strong personality. I bet you never let the captain have his way in your daily life, right?”

Rosvisser laughed softly. “What are you talking about? I wouldn’t stoop to squabbling with a man in his twenties. That would be so childish.”

*Really, Your Majesty?*

*You’ve had more “battles” with your pretend husband than could fill an entire page of notes.*

“Well, sometimes I do have to keep him in line,” Rosvisser added with a grin.

“There you go! The captain doesn’t just listen to anyone, you know.”

Rosvisser smiled faintly, then asked, “Oh, by the way, do you remember the song they danced to?”

“Hm... that was a long time ago,” Rebecca mused, then suddenly clapped her hands. “Got it! I don’t remember the name, but I can hum it for you.”

“Alright.”

Rebecca began humming a little tune.

Rosvisser listened carefully, and after a moment, she said, “I know which song it is.”

“Huh? You’ve been living with the dragons, and you know human songs?”

“Yes. Recently, I’ve been trying to study and learn more about human culture.”

That was true.

When Leon was studying with Aurora in the library, he had noticed several human books Rosvisser had collected.

“Oh, I see.”

Rosvisser reached out and patted Rebecca on the head. “Thanks for telling me all of this. Is there anything else? Like... what he’s afraid of or not good at?”

Rebecca thought for a moment. “Actually, yes! Sister-in-law, did you know that he had a nickname in school? ‘The Strongest Man on Land.’”

The queen blinked. “He’s strong... I know that.”

*Very well, in fact.*

“No, no, no, Sister-in-law, the key part isn’t ‘strong,’ it’s ‘on land.’”

Rosvisser frowned. “‘On land’? What does that mean?”

“It means... the captain can’t swim! He aced every test and assessment at the academy, except for swimming!”

“That incredible guy... can’t swim?”

Rosvisser paused, recalling something.

Last time their whole family had gone on a beach vacation, over several days, Leon had never once gone swimming.

“Mm-hmm, really! That’s why everyone called him ‘The Strongest Man on Land.’”

Rosvisser nodded thoughtfully, murmuring to herself, “I see...”

*Looks like it’s time to buy some new swimsuits for my little lion.*
