Chapter 779 Forbidden Word
Chapter 779 Forbidden Word
Ariel instantly closed her eyes tight shut upon entering through the portal and arriving at the Heaven realm. The shift from pitch dark surrounding to an eye-blindingly bright surrounding was astounding for her.
She looked around the sky that she was currently hovering in. The clouds had a divine glow to them, and the air also felt different somehow.
"Oh no!" she uttered to herself when she realized that she had entered the Heaven realm.
Ariel fisted on her hips and heaved a sigh while waiting for her father to pop out from the middle of the sky. She wanted to stop him right there the moment he appeared in the Heaven realm.
However, when he didn't come out even after waiting for quite a while, she furrowed her brows and gave a sound, "Dad? Are you there? Why aren't you coming in?"
Her questions were unanswered because her father couldn't hear her from the other realm.
Suddenly, a realization dawned upon her. "Dad was cast away from the Heaven realm, wasn't he? Can he even enter this realm as he pleases?"
Ariel thought of returning to the Earth realm as her father was a no-show. She believed that, unlike her, her father was stuck on the other side.
"By the way, how do we jump back to Earth again?" She mumbled to herself while looking at the spot from where she had entered this realm. "Do I just fly through?" She prepared herself to give that a try.
Ariel glared at the middle of the sky where there was a piece of cloud and shot herself straight to that spot. However, she didn't miraculously return to the Earth realm. She simply flew through that fluffy cloud and reached the other side of it.
Ariel scratched her head in frustration when that happened.
"What the hell am I going to do now?"
"Should you be uttering hell's name when you are here in the Heaven realm?"
Out of nowhere, Ariel heard a voice echoing from behind her and got startled. She flapped her massive wings and turned around.
She let out a sigh and smiled when she saw the familiar face. "Grandpa!"
God was in his usual white clothes; he was glowing with divine light and had a calm expression on his face. It looked as if he was standing on a piece of cloud.
Ariel giggled guiltily after realizing what she said and where, and then she apologized, "I'm sorry if I offended you, grandpa. I didn't mean to do that but it came out of my mouth out of habit."
God gave a soft smile to his grandchild. "I was simply pulling your leg. There's no such rule here saying that you can't utter that word here."
"Ah!" Anastasia nodded and looked down, feeling a little embarrassed of herself.
God was looking pleased with how readily she called him 'grandpa' and how she apologized to him for that simple matter. His son never apologized to him once even after creating a drama earlier.
"They raised her well," he thought to himself.
And he extended his hand towards Ariel and asked, "Why don't I show you around?"
Ariel was, however, a little skeptical about that invitation from her grandfather. "My dad is waiting right on the other side of the portal. He must be worried. Will you help me go back to my home, grandpa? Maybe I can come back here in the future with grandma?"
God was still holding out his hand when he answered Ariel, "This is your first time here even when this place should have been your home. So, giving you a tour is the least I can do right now. I don't think it's fair to send you back to Earth before you even saw a tiny speck of Heaven."
God's voice had so much calmness and maybe a little persuasiveness in it that Ariel couldn't really say no to her grandfather's request.
Ariel heaved a sigh and agreed while placing her palm on her grandfather's palm, "Okay… if you say so…" However, before her grandfather had the chance to teleport her, she glanced at the cloud again and asked, "My dad isn't allowed to come in here?"
God looked into the pair of amber eyes that his granddaughter got from the son who was his dearest in the past. It pained him to say it but he agreed, "Yes, technically, he isn't allowed to come here because… I had exiled him."
"Technically?" she asked with curiosity.
God turned his head to the side and intently gazed at the spot from where Ariel had entered this realm. It looked as if he was seeing right past that cloud and sky and was actually seeing Theodore.
"Yes, technically," he agreed and also further explained, "I could have let him in, but I didn't do that since he wants to get his revenge on Michael. He isn't in the right state of emotions right now for him to think rationally. So, I am not allowing him here because I don't want the chain of events to continue."
Ariel now understood why her father didn't follow after her. And a part of her was relieved thinking that her father wouldn't be after Michael's blood anymore because he wouldn't even get to meet Michael…
"Wait a minute…" she whispered.
God already knew her question so he was preparing for the answer before he even heard the query.
And Ariel finally got a chance to ask the question that had been bugging her for a while now. "Did you punish Uncle Michael?"
God gave that same subtle smile and said, "Why don't we first go and sit down in my garden? I will tell you everything that you want to know."
Ariel did have a lot of questions. So those words from God worked like a charm on her. "Sure. But I will have to go back to Earth soon. Else everyone will be worried thinking that someone attacked me again or kidnapped me or both."
"Don't worry, I won't keep you here for long." God then gave a subtle smile and gave a meaningful glance signaling that they were going to teleport.
And in the next moment, they teleported from there.
