The rain of cards caught everyone off guard.

But before they knew it, Sam who was standing far away, threw a card into the air and shot it down with a laser appearing from his hand.

*ZING*

That is all everyone heard as bright lights flashed from all the cards and blinded them. They couldn't see anything. Even with all their enhanced visions and Divine plane cultivation, they felt like they are nothing but infants seeing the brightness of the sun as soon as they are born.

But that was just the start. The light beams burned their flesh and proceeded to disintegrate everything else in the city, including the formation they laid down. Nothing stopped the beams of light to ravage.

This time, the attack has been much more faster than the first time. Sam just left as soon as he was done.

Within an hour later he went to another city where the cultivators felt like they have witnessed the actual and true prowess of water element for the first time. Then a similar feeling was given to the cultivators on the fourth spot where they experienced what it would look like if the wind actually brought on destruction.

The onslaught went on until Sam destroyed all ten cities. The destruction began at sunrise and ended at sunset. He told them where he would attack, how will attack and when he would attack.

Knowing all the information, they couldn't even put up a fight. It was pure and utter destruction. As if he owned the place. As he was the true god of the place.

And that served as a clear and proper message sent to all the Olympian academies.

Sam did mention to Dayus about why he was picking a fight with them. Their academy has sent people to disrupt Sam in his previous expedition and thus he paid back in full. Now, this sent waves of anxiety to hit the other academies.

After all, almost all the Olympian academies have sent people after Sam when he went to that weird planet.

They were afraid that he might take offense and target them.

At least, previously they had some sort of confidence, at least a little bit that they might be able to fight back or even resist. Particularly, when there are no restrictions to the fight like they were in the inter academy tournament.

However, they had been utterly wrong.

Sam just showed what he could if there were actually no rules. He showed that in fact, the rules weren't restricting them, instead they were restricting him.

Immediately information has been relayed back to the elder team outside, that was in charge of managing tasks for these candidates. From this testing ground realm, the news went there. They had some queries and they were simple.

What had Sam done until now?

These students who were trying to go mainstream and enter the main battles of this conquest are now scared about what they might face outside.

The elders didn't know why they were asking this, but they did send the information. The information about what he did in the first planet he targeted. Then about what he did to the Poseidon team in the second realm.

This made the students in the testing grounds feel extremely scared.

They just hoped that Sam wouldn't target them like he did with the Zeus team. But just like always, their gods didn't respond. Just like how Sam sent a message to Dayus and White, he has sent messages to other academy teams in the testing ground realm.

But not to all of them.

Only Olympian academies, Thor academy and Hou Yi academy students that were participating in this testing grounds received those messages. There are no other academies that were part of the game that are using this place.

So, he didn't bother with the rest.

Some of these students ignored the message and wanted to think of other ways. They even asked their elder teams to get some elite teams for assistance, but they didn't get the desired response from them.

Instead, they got a response from Sam for their ignorance of his letter.

In the same day, all of their cities are attacked by fire elementals that came out of nowhere. Meanwhile, for the teams that agreed, Sam destroyed ten teams each over a game of cards.

All of this happened in two days.

In a way, everyone ended up on a relatively even ground suffering equal losses, of course the teams that ignored him faced and endured more.

Within three days, Sam did whatever he wanted and left. But before leaving, he put out a word.

"From now on, I am the owner of that elemental planet. No force of any other academy is allowed to enter it.

The moment they do, they will be declaring a war against me and the next time, they won't get to play a game of cards."

Just like that, Sam conquered the domain and he wasn't even there. It was his and his alone. No one dared to even have any sights of that place. After he left, the testing ground returned back to what it was, but with an additional rule.

No one shall deal with the fire planet.

And this rule was not applied by the academies, but rather the teams that went there for the testing.

Once Sam came out, he went to meet Ling Tian to get the status on current level of things. He did have some goals in this conquest. The elemental planets that he got are just one of them, they could even be considered secondary.

His main goal is just to cause more havoc in the academy realm by being a nuisance while making himself rich. In a way, it is going all too well.

After he checked Ling Tian's data, he felt slight disappointment. They still didn't reach his desired state. But they are well on the way.

He just has to wait for a little longer and they will be ripe and ready.

Meanwhile, Ling Tian had a very intriguing proposal for Sam.

He passed the details of a specific planet to him.

"What is this?"

"A planet in a third grade world. I thought you might be interested."

Sam was intrigued by this. He was indeed interested in third grade worlds. But he didn't have the thoughts of going there now. He wanted to deal with the second grade worlds first. But

they are note exactly progressing as well as he hoped they would.

They are way too slow in their progress.

Sam didn't reply and just went through the data. He felt intrigued.

"You really sent this team to conquer this realm? The opponents and Hephaestus and Athena academies combined. And there is no way in hell they are going to give up this planet."

Sam paused and looked at the data much more. The name of the realm itself is interesting to

him.

'Divine Beast Graveyard'

All the planets are named after the names of various beasts of a very high level bloodline.

'Dragon'

'Phoenix'

'Roc'

'Bi Fang' 'Pegasus'

'Griffin'

The description is also very simple. The realm previously had a profound connection to one of the celestial realms. Every beast that failed to ascend beyond the Divine Plane and was on

verge of losing their lives, was forcefully sent to this realm.

They were sent to the planet corresponding to their name, where they died. Their bled, flesh and bones are merged into the soil, evolving these planets slowly

All the planets in the realm soon evolved and mutated, creating a different world of its own, a few centuries after this realm has been sealed.

Now it has become its own unique ecosystem. Now, that it opened, Sam knew what it means

to many of the academies.

Particularly, the academies that focus more on the formations, inscriptions and smithing of various kinds. Not just them, even the healers of various kinds that do pills and potions will

also die to get in there.

The resources created from the remains of these divine beasts...

They are way too exciting for them.

Even though Sam didn't come across any of these divine beasts even when he reached the academy realm, it only served to emphasize their importance in his mind.

This in turn can only show how important these resources could be for these people. There would be treasures. Treasures that they could not let go.

That is why, many of these academies teamed up with some high level combat oriented

academies. The Hephaestus has teamed up with Athena, they were targeting the Phoenix planet. Viswa Karma academy teamed up with Karthikeya academy and they were targeting

the Griffin planet.

Similarly, there are other academies, but they are not really his concern, because right now, the Gambler academy's combat team is trying to get some grip on the Pheonix planet. Hephaestus-Athena team is nothing to scoff at. The former's resourceful innovation and creative minds combined with the latter's might and strategy... it is something to reckon with. But Ling Tian sent a single elite combat team there.
