Chapter 165 - 110 University Daily Life_4

Zhou Yuwen smiled and playfully teased, "What are you talking about? Clothes in Macau are cheaper than in Jinling. This whole outfit cost me just two hundred."

"Really? For real?"

"Of course, it’s all from street stalls."

"Then Brother Zhou, why didn’t you say so earlier? You should’ve picked up a couple of pieces for me too!"

Li Qiang was a bit annoyed, while Zhou Yuwen just laughed and said, "Next time, for sure."

After a brief chat with Li Qiang, who actually wanted to talk some more, the teacher interrupted them by saying, "Those classmates over there, please stop making noise," effectively cutting off Li Qiang.

It wasn’t until the class ended that Li Qiang and Zhou Yuwen discussed the attendance check and asked Zhou Yuwen to give the teacher a heads up.

"Brother Hao is just out to get you, not covering for you at all," Li Qiang said, grinning.

"Bullshit!"

Chang Hao’s relationship with Zhou Yuwen was already awkward, made even more so by Li Qiang’s comment.

But Zhou Yuwen didn’t mind; he walked up to the teacher and said a few words.

During the ten-minute break between classes, the students were still quite energetic, especially since everyone had seen the moments Zhou Yuwen posted, and they had even discussed it in the class group for a few minutes.

Everyone always felt that places like Macau and Hong Kong seemed more upscale than the mainland.

Especially girls like Liu Yue, who had yelled in the dorm as soon as she found out Zhou Yuwen was in Macau, exclaiming Zhou Yuwen went to Macau!

Everyone thought Liu Yue was making a fuss over nothing.

Now that Zhou Yuwen was back, Liu Yue crowded around him again, asking, "Class president, is there anything fun to do in Macau?"

Zhou Yuwen replied that it was okay, nothing special about it being fun.

"Is it full of foreigners over there in Macau?" Liu Yue asked with a laugh.

"Yeah, there are quite a few," he answered.

Liu Yue was sitting in the seat in front of Zhou Yuwen, along with Gu Yaoyao and others, all of whom were seated in front of him. At that moment, Gu Yaoyao turned around, smiling at Zhou Yuwen, "You didn’t forget the stuff you were supposed to bring me, did you?"

"How could I forget."

During Zhou Yuwen’s tenure as class president, he had some documents which he forgot to pass on to Gu Yaoyao afterward.

Supposedly, it was something that should have been given to Gu Yaoyao before the holiday.

Liu Yue sighed and said, "Class president, you really shouldn’t have given up your position. Now everything has to be dealt with by Yaoyao."

"What are you implying, Yueyue, you’re looking down on my Brother Hao, aren’t you?"

Liu Yue was quite tactless, always trying to cozy up to Zhou Yuwen and forgetting that Chang Hao was right there.

Just calling Zhou Yuwen "class president" was already showing disrespect, not to mention speaking out like that.

Fortunately, Li Qiang chimed in, and realizing her blunder, Liu Yue covered her mouth and said, "No, that’s not what I meant."

With that, everyone’s attention shifted to Chang Hao.

Brother Hao was brewing with frustration. He had finally taken a liking to a girl, who then became Zhou Yuwen’s girlfriend, and with Li Qiang’s deliberate spreading of the news, now half the class knew about it.

Chang Hao didn’t know how to act around Zhou Yuwen anymore, and here was Li Qiang, further escalating matters.

After holding it in for a while, Chang Hao finally spoke up: "When did you get back?"

"Oh, last night."

"Why didn’t you tell us so that Qiangzi and I could’ve picked you up?" Chang Hao eventually capitulated, as one couldn’t keep avoiding each other forever.

"Yes, Brother Zhou, you should’ve told us earlier, we would have gone to the station to pick you up," Li Qiang said.

Zhou Yuwen casually responded, "That would’ve been too much trouble for you guys."

"No trouble at all, we’re all brothers, it’s the least we can do!" Li Qiang quickly added.

Chang Hao then asked Zhou Yuwen where he stayed last night.

Zhou Yuwen said he rented a small apartment outside and might have to live there from now on.

"Class president, you rented an apartment outside?" Liu Yue exclaimed, ever the drama queen.

Liu Yue seemed to find everything quite new and exciting, and after listening to Zhou Yuwen’s explanation, she even expressed envy toward him.

"My boyfriend is also renting an apartment outside. Where did you rent yours, class president?" Liu Yue asked curiously.

This statement piqued the interest of several people, with Zhou Yuwen asking, "You got a boyfriend that quickly?"

"Yeah," Liu Yue said, somewhat shyly.

It turned out that during the society recruitment, a senior who was into photography invited Liu Yue to join the photography society, complimenting her on her natural talent and beauty and asking if she’d like to take photos together.

The senior was tall and slim, wearing black-framed glasses, and holding a Canon 800D—a quintessential artistic youth.

Liu Yue was impressed by the skillful senior who could take photos and added him on WeChat.

They chatted continuously over a few days off.

Later, when Liu Yue returned to school, the senior went to pick her up.

During those days of chatting, things had already taken a turn toward the flirtatious.

When meeting Liu Yue at the station, the senior took the initiative and held her hand.

Liu Yue shyly lowered her head, not resisting.

The two of them thus officially became a couple.

Zhou Yuwen listened, nodded, and smiled, saying, "Not bad, that senior has good taste."

Liu Yue turned shy at Zhou Yuwen’s comment: "No, I even told him he has no taste for liking me."

"You shouldn’t say that, Yueyue. You have to realize that you’re the best, and you deserve everyone," Zhou Yuwen said seriously.

Liu Yue kept blushing.

The morning went by with everyone in the classroom either attending lectures, playing with their phones, or occasionally chatting.

During the restroom break in the second period, Liu Yue suddenly felt a sense of loss and gain, and she asked Gu Yaoyao, "Why did Zhou Yuwen sound a bit down when asking about my love life?"

Gu Yaoyao curiously said, "Really?"

"Yueyue, do you think the class president might have a little thing for me too?" Liu Yue asked anxiously.

"You mean Chang Hao?" Gu Yaoyao queried.
