Chapter 59 Manager Alina
Chapter 59 Manager Alina
"Esteemed customer, welcome back to my shop. How may I assist you today?" the store lady, Sofia, greeted Kent warmly as he entered the herb store.
"As we discussed last time, I would like to procure this ingredient," Kent replied, handing Sofia a long list.
"Wow, that's quite the tall order today," Sofia said with a small smile. To her, the more, the merrier.
"Turn it," Kent said, his lips curling into a faint smile. Sofia flipped the list to reveal the ingredients for Tier 2 pills.
"Wow... This will take a few more hours than I initially thought," Sofia said, her smile broadening. She was clearly thrilled at the prospect of a lucrative sale.
"Take your time. That being said, how long will it take, and how much do I need to pay upfront this time?" Kent asked.
"It should take roughly seven to nine hours, and you'll need to pay 20,000 spirit stones upfront. Tier 1 and Tier 2 ingredients are significantly more expensive."
"Here you go." Kent retrieved a small pouch containing the exact amount and handed it to her.
The tower was exceptionally useful. Not only did it list the required ingredients, but it also organized spirit stones swiftly and placed them in neat, convenient pouches for easy transactions.
"I will be back later for the goods. And hey, if you're tired, you can take these two pills for an added energy boost," Kent said, placing two pill bottles on the counter before leaving.
Sofia, taken aback by his last sentence, picked up the first bottle and opened it. However, as soon as she saw what was inside, her eyes widened.
"This... a Perfect Tier 0 pill?" She almost dropped the bottle in shock when she discovered that the Body Strengthening Pill was 100% pure.
The second bottle, which contained a Stamina Recovery pill, was the same. The quality of the pills immediately blew her away. Not daring to let anyone discover what she'd just been gifted, she quickly tucked the pills away and closed the store.
Kent was using his senses to observe her reaction as he walked away toward the Silver Leaf Auction House, where he was scheduled to meet a certain manager who couldn't wait to see him again.
Kent, of course, was eager to see her again. The last time he and Unity had been there, Manager Alina had clearly taken an interest in him, though she had been subtle about it.
But she wasn't subtle enough. The Tower had picked up on her spying during his intimate moment with Unity. This piqued Kent's curiosity, and he wanted to get to know her better.
Now that he was well-off, he could certainly use spirit stones to woo her, but that would take away from the fun of it. Plus, it wouldn't be as secure as relying on his thrusting abilities.
With his divine rod hitting all the right spots, he was confident she would never betray him, even if she weren't added to his harem.
For Kent, who sought to spread his fame far and wide, starting with someone who manages an auction house seems like a logical choice.
"It's you," a guard said immediately as Kent appeared at the entrance of the auction house. He was one of the guards he had met the last time he was there. Explore stories on empire
"Yes, it's me... any problem?" Kent asked.
"No... no problem at all," the guard began to sweat for some unknown reason.
"Then I will be on my way," Kent said before walking inside the auction house. Clearly, the guards had a hard time after the incident the last time. Although it may have appeared nobody witnessed it, Manager Alina somehow figured it out.
Now, since the other guards weren't around, it could be said that he was fired for stopping Kent and Unity back then.
Immediately after Kent entered the auction house, he saw a certain lady with heavy hips walking toward him. He smiled slightly, his eyes watching her swaying waist as she approached him.
"Welcome to Silver Leaf Auction House, master... I mean Kent," Manager Alina said with a slight smile.
"Good to see you again, Alina," Kent said, also returning the smile.
"Do you have something for me today, too?" she asked.
"Indeed, but can we do it somewhere private?" Kent suggested, seeing that people were looking at them. Alina led the way, and soon, they were inside her office. Of course, Kent's eyes never left her ass the whole way to her office.
"So what do you have for me today?" Alina asked, becoming much more easygoing around him now that they were alone.
Kent just smiled and retrieved over a hundred pill bottles containing 100% pure pills, placing them on the table. Alina was taken aback by the sheer number of pills he had brought out.
She quickly picked one and opened it. However, as soon as she did, her eyes widened, just like Sofia's when she saw the purity of the pill.
"Are these all...?"
"Yes. They are all perfect, flawless pills," Kent said with a small smile.
"Unbelievable... To think that after thousands of years, a perfect pill has finally appeared in this auction house and in this kingdom at that," Alina muttered, clearly in disbelief.
"You don't have to be shocked. I'm just getting started. This is just my way of telling you a new alchemist is in town," Kent said.
"This is too great. I have to inform the owner. She would love to know there is such a promising alchemist in town," Alina said, her eyes sparkling.
She was indeed very happy. After all, if she were the one to introduce Kent to the owner of Silver Leaf Auction House, she would be greatly rewarded.
An alchemist who can concoct perfect pills is something everyone would be shocked about. They would go to great lengths to form a connection with him, no matter what they had to do.
"Let's settle our business first before adding anyone else," Kent smiled and leaned back in his seat.
"I'll be right back," Alina said, running off to her inner office. Kent just looked at her heavy ass and smiled. He could already picture grabbing that ass as she bounced up and down.
A few minutes later, Alina returned with a list showing the selling price of the pills. It had been many years since they had bought a perfect pill, so she had to look hard for the price list.
"Although this list is outdated, it will help us calculate the right price for these pills," Alina said, making sure that no matter what, she would buy the pills and use them to gain favors that would spread her influence.
After all, in two months, they would be having their annual auction, and she wanted to be the auctioneer. Procuring dozens of perfect pills, even if they were just Tier 0, would undoubtedly secure her that spot.
If only she knew Kent had other plans.
"Well, you can take them for free. Since we are practically friends now, I figured I'd gift you these to start a very smooth and happy relationship that will benefit both of us in the coming days, weeks, and years," Kent said.
Alina froze in place, shocked.
