I looked at the people flying, not far away from me.

Many of them are familiar and are moving in the same direction as us.

I had talked to others, and they had said the same thing. A building appeared with a heavy reading of the forbidden power coming out of it.

It had made me quite excited, despite knowing. It will turn into a bloodbath.

I shouldn't be going there; I have collected forbidden crystal far more than others, but their numbers might be greater than what others have got. They are not enough for me.

I need more. If not, used in methods and projects. Then, at least enough to satisfy all my experiments.

There are a lot of experiments. The more experience I do; the more experiments I will create. It is giving me too much data and I need to run more experiments to understand it.

I pushed those thoughts away and looked to the left. A familiar person came toward me.

A minute and a half later, he was beside me.

"Arys," he said. "Carter," I replied.

"We should go faster. There is a huge formation on the building's door, and they are trying to solve it collectively," he informed.

I couldn't help, but become surprised. I only knew about the building, I didn't know, that access to it was blocked. Though, I am not surprised.

Most of the buildings, which are somewhat in good shape are locked.

"They are calling for all the runemasters for help," he added.

"They are calling for help; the formation must be quite tough," I replied, and he nodded.

I am surprised because there are quite a few fossils here that are accomplished in the runes. They are not someone who will call for help, much less agree to solve the formation collectively.

It made me excited.

Not because of the aid I might be able to give, that might help, but because it will be a chance to reinforce my identity in front of those dangerous fossils.

Ancient runes are one of the biggest cards I have. I have never revealed it to anyone when I was Micheal Zaar.

It is also conventional wisdom that people start to learn the ancient runes after becoming Prime and it takes a lot of time.

"Let's go then," I replied, and we increased our speed.

We might have increased our speed, but we are careful. We are aware of the dangers. Especially those broken formations. If we trigger them, they will snipe us to oblivion.

Minutes passed and we across more people. All of them move in the same direction.

Over two hours passed, and the tools which are still floating around me reacted. It was my leaves that reacted, and the closer I got, the greater reaction would become.

When we reached the building. Something happened that I had not thought would happen. One of the useless tools has finally reacted.

'So, it is not bogus after all,' I thought.

When compared to me. It will only sense me when I blast forbidden power, actively staying less than five meters away from it.

Though, I didn't let get over my head.

The leaves sensed it miles away and I have no doubt. There are tools on that level in some people's hands, and some might be even more powerful.

So, I would need to be very careful. Especially now when I will be very close to those powerful bastards.

A few seconds later, we landed beside the building.

When I looked at the building. I found it nothing special; it is a seven-story tall tower-shaped building. It is painted light blue with thin cracks all over it.

Though it may have cracks. The building is still standing, with all its walls intact.

I looked toward its door. In front of it, a tiny golden cone is floating. It radiates the light on the door, making the formation visible.

'I would love to get my hands on it,' I thought before looking away from it.

There are a lot of people around the core, but I focused on eleven. They are solving the formation, and they are doing it openly without hiding their progress.

It is called solving it collectively. So, seeing others' progress and mistakes, one would be able to solve them faster.

I was looking at it when one man shook his head and closed the formation. He gave up, compared to some, he wasn't making much progress.

"Prime Arys, I heard quite a lot about your prowess with runes," said a beautiful woman with crystalline horns.

She is strikingly beautiful and looks to be in her early twenties, but the woman is centuries old. According to the information, I had; she hadn't been seen in a century and a half.

Until now.

"Compared to you, it's nothing, Prime Lancebrook," I replied, appearing in front of her and sitting down.

I didn't begin immediately. Instead, I looked at others' work and studied them for nearly forty minutes before I brought out tools.

A few seconds after that, the runes begin to appear in front of me.

It took a few minutes for a complex formation to appear in front of me, but from then. It slowed down.

The formation is difficult, but that never stopped me from solving it. This time, I am excited as I am able to see how others solve it.

It is a very rare opportunity that didn't come easily. It had happened here too, because of many favorable circumstances.

The first one is the formation being too complex, but that isn't enough. The factor that made it possible is a storm and how frequently it is coming.

The storm is dangerous even for these fossils and most importantly, it might change the formation.

Though, all these reasons are nothing in front of the thing that is inside. If it had not been for forbidden power, I don't think these people would have been willing to reveal these secrets; they guard their lives.

So, these people want to solve it as soon as possible

I am solving it, but I like them, I am also keeping an eye on the other's progress as well.

I have to say, I am getting surprised by how others solve the formation. Their styles are different, and they use different methods and formulas.

I am learning so much from them, but also understanding, my methods are better.

Faster and more efficient, despite my holding back.

This fact didn't surprise me. I have a massive advantage over these people.

These people have learned the ancient runes through books or teachers. Their teacher is probably the same level as them. Some might be Silver Prime, and a few lucky ones might even get guidance from Golden Prime.

But the one taught me is above them. It is the artifact spirit of the library containing the massive knowledge.

However, I have suspicions that things are simple as she had said. There are secrets there, that I am far too weak to know about.

I pushed those thoughts and focused on the formation in front of me.

Not the one in front of me, but the one in front of me that only I could see. It is the real one, with the fast progress while the one that everyone could see is for everyone to see.
