Chapter 324 Tough Luck, Jack.

The race was finally over, and now it was time for the winners to make their requests.

"Since Layla came in first place, then Lucifer came in second, and lastly, James in third place... They will each have one request fulfilled by one of the losing contestants," Ethan announced to the others, and they all agreed with him while nodding their heads.

With that decided, Layla looked at Lucifer with a mischievous grin before saying, "I wanted to make my request to you, but since you aren't one of the losers... I'll choose someone else."

The young woman then pointed her finger at Jack, whose expression suddenly turned into one of worry.

"I want you to go for a run on the beach and shout that you are a 'loser' at the top of your lungs, Jack! That's my request!" Layla said with a wicked grin.

"What?!" Jack shouted in shock. He couldn't believe what she had just told him. How dare this bitch humiliate him like this?! It made him furious.

However, Layla ignored the anger in Jack's eyes and crossed her arms under her chest, pushing up her large breasts, and looked at him with disdain. "Well? Are you going to do it or not? Because if you refuse, you'll look even more like a loser!"

At those words, Jack clenched his teeth in rage, his fists tightening as he tried to control himself. He wanted to scream and punch something or someone right now. But he knew that if he did any of that, it would only make things worse for him, so he forced himself to remain calm.

"Come on, Layla. Don't embarrass me like that in front of everyone here," Jack said in a desperate attempt to reason with the beautiful woman, who was still looking at him as if she were seeing a pathetic creature.

"Tough luck, Jack. Because of you I lost the chance of making a request to my brother, and I can't allow that to pass," Layla said in a firm tone before continuing, "So now you have to do what I tell you, and you know it. It's a part of the bet."

Seeing that Layla wouldn't back down no matter how much he tried to persuade her, Jack sighed and shook his head before looking at her with determination in his eyes.

He didn't care anymore about being humiliated or anything anymore. He just wanted to get it over with quickly.

But he won't forget it or forgive it. No, this humiliation was another thing that she owed him, and he would make sure to cash it when the time comes.

"Okay... I will do as you wish, Layla, and I'll show you that I don't fear anything." He answered and started to walk towards a different part of the beach.

As he walked away, Lucifer smiled at his sister and gave her a discreet thumbs-up. Layla saw this and smiled back, giving him a wink. The two siblings shared an understanding look before focusing on the scene ahead of them.

When Jack reached a spot in the middle of the private beach, far from the group and with plenty of people around to hear him, he started shouting with all the strength of his lungs while he ran on the sand. "Everyone... I am a loser! A big loser! But I bet that I will win next time, so watch out, motherfuckers! Because Jack is a winner!"

This was the best way he found of doing the request and not feeling so bad about it. And he hoped it would be enough to satisfy the bitch. Because he didn't plan to run another lap shouting like a lunatic.

After running a little more, the young man returned to where the others were waiting for him, panting heavily from his efforts.

When Layla saw Jack approaching her, she couldn't help but burst into laughter along with her brother. The sight of Jack running on the beach and shouting such ridiculous things at the top of his lungs had been too amusing for them to contain themselves.

Even Eva, Zoe, and Madison joined in on the fun, chuckling softly at the sight. They were having a good time at Jack's expense, which didn't please him one bit, but there was nothing he could do about it now. He had made a bet and lost it, so now it was time to pay up. And if Layla wasn't the one who had made the request, he would have never done it.

"Okay... I've done as you requested. Can we forget about this now and move on to the other losers?" He said with a grimace.

Layla laughed for a moment longer before nodding. "Haha... Sure. Now, it's time for Lucifer's request."

"Ah, right. My request." Lucifer nodded his head, then he looked around at the group with a big smile on his face before settling his gaze upon Eva, who seemed surprised to be the target of his choice.

"Eva... You are the lucky girl that will fulfill my wish," The young man said as he walked towards Eva and put an arm around her waist.

As he held her close, Lucifer whispered in her ear so that only she could hear his words. "I want to spend the afternoon with you. Just you and me... alone. What do you say, Eva?"

When she heard that, Eva blushed furiously, but still managed to nod in acceptance, not trusting herself to speak without stuttering. This made the others look at the two with curiosity.

Meanwhile, James was looking at Lucifer and his girlfriend with a grim face. He didn't like seeing that man so close to his beloved. It just felt wrong.

He knew that they were cousins and very close, but still... There was something strange in their interaction that bothered him.

However, no matter what he thought, there was nothing he could say about it unless he wanted to look like a jealous idiot. And that was not the image of himself that James wished to project.

Then Lucifer stepped back and faced everyone again. "Okay, guys. Eva has accepted my request, so I am done with the challenge. What about you, James? Who will you choose, and what are you going to make them do?"
