Chapter 55 From A Text Response, To No Call Response.

Ken immediately texted her back in an instant to avoid her from leaving the app of something related to that.

The text read. [[I really did like the date we had together, it was so much fun.]]

He sent it and waited for a reply. But there was none.

He stook he head, and began to write again. [[I know that our date didn't go as planned, but still I did enjoy it. Can we meet again, I would like to talk. I want to make it up with you]]

He sent the message. And then spoke to the driver of the vehicle.

"Here… you can stop me here.?" Ken said.

The driver pulled over, and then Ken paid and exited the car. As he came out, he took a long stretch, signifying that he had been sitting there for a long time.

His house was close by, and the car would have easily taken in to the front of his house.

However, for some reason he thought that it would be nice to take the walk by himself.

The journey wasn't so long, and so he got to his house immediately.

He opened the door with his key and then realized that his siblings weren't back from school yet.

"It's already past 3 o'clock. What are they still doing."

He forgot that this day was the second day of their school tournament and so his siblings would love to wait and see their own class play.

Although, Estela was tasked with taking them to school normally, and also bringing them back.

However, this was the day that she only had extra lectures during the mid-afternoon, and so it was a lecture she had to take before going to pick the twins.

This was even more convenient for the twins, because it gave them more time to watch the games.

Ken entered his home, and the instant he dropped his keys on the table, his phone buzzed with a notification.

He then took his phone and see the notification.

"Has she replied…,!" He uttered as he tapped the notification taking him to the dating app.

When he app opened, it took him to the chat of Kimberly instantly. And so he read the message she sent.

It read. [[Okay… I'm listening.]]

Ken then smiled before saying… "Is that all she can say?"

Afterwards, he replied her. [[Thank you for reaching back. How about we meet again for another date. This time no activities for s^x just me and you going on a normal date. I really want to apologize and make it up too you.]]

He sent the message, and after the required time would take for her to read the message had passed.

Kimberly replied to him. [[That sounds okay to me. However this time I get to pick the place again.]]

"That was fast." Ken uttered, after he read the message. "…it looks like she wasn't all that angry to begin with. I thought she would be more of playing hard to get. But it seems that she know the actual thing. This is so mature."

Ken smiled after he had said all these, and then replied her. [[That's okay by me. So what day will you be available?]]

He asked her. It was a straight up response with beating around the bush. And he was sure she would answer him immediately.

[[How about tomorrow…?]] Kimberly texted back. Making Ken to give a smug expression to his face.

"She really is going fast." He uttered. [[Alright. Text me the time and place]] he replied back. And then Kimberly responded with a thumbs up emoji.

"Sigh…!" Ken sighed and shook his head. He had already accomplished his much in an entire day.

Just when he sat down on the sofa in the living room, thinking he was through with everything for the day, his phone rang.

He picked it, and saw it was Estela. She called him to let him know that she was going to be later than she thought.

And so she wanted him to pick up his siblings. He assured her that he was going to pick them, and also told her to finish up quickly so she could get home on time.

And after their conversation, she hung up.

"This isn't like you, Estela. You always finished up your work on time so you could pick up the twins. So what's holding you this time?" Ken uttered, as he stared at his phone with a puzzled expression.

Little did he know the main reason.

Ken immediately left his house and went to the twins school. He got there without any traffic to hold him.

While he entered the school premise, two things came to his mind.

He thought about running into either Mandy or Kachina. And then thought of what he was going to say if he saw any of them.

Although, Mandy wasn't guaranteed, because she could still be at work at the time. Although he hadn't even confirmed if she was the one who brought her sister back from school.

It was her, or their driver.

On the other hand, it was likely that he could run into Kachina, because he basically worked here.

All these clouded his thoughts as he stepped into the school. However, he couldn't go further, since he had wait in the parents and guardians area.

After waiting for about ten minutes, his siblings finally came out. They looked so energetic as if they had just woken up from a fantastic dream.

Ken didn't know how they did it. They were just smiling. Although he didn't thinking think too much of it, because all that mattered to him was seeing them happy.

The main truth is that, they were just so happy to see their big brother come to pick them from school after a very long time.

Ken and the twins got together, and then headed home. Ken noticed that he didn't run into Mandy or even see Kachina.

Although, that wasn't entirely what it is. Kachina definitely saw him. She hid herself so she couldn't be seen by him.

After all she was being patient, since she was eventually going to him all to herself in a couple of days.

Ken got his home safe with his siblings without any traffic deal. He noticed that Estela wasn't yet back from school, and it began to disturb him.

He checked his time, and saw it was already past five in the evening.

"Why isn't she back yet…?" He uttered. "…is she still having lectures."

He shook his head in disagreement. He knew that was not possible. The time for high school to end their daily lectures were three in the afternoon.

However, it has been two hours since then and still no sign of Estela.

Ken took to his phone and dialed her number, however it wasn't picked.

"That's strange… Estela never misses my call."

He called again, and another two times, but there was still no answer. And so Ken was completely convinced.

"There is something definitely wrong…"

He told his siblings to sit tight in their house, that he was going to get her, and they did as hw said.

Ken immediately rushed out of the house and headed for Estela's high school.

[Meanwhile, At Estela's High School]

"I SAID KNEEL DOWN B"TCH…!" a young lady exclaimed as he pushed Estela to the floor.

By her sides, the lady had two muscular men, with an intimidating expression.

"Hurray… Big bro!" Estela's uttered with a very low and exhausted tone, while he was on the ground.

She was being bullied.
