Chapter 1163 Part 1: Confined in the cell
Chapter 1163 Part 1: Confined in the cell
From MC's Perspective:
After having the coffee, I left the inn. Then I quickly started moving towards the Teleportation Platform. When I got there. I saw the guards.
After telling them the distance, I walked inside and stood on the platform. Then they activated the platform.
Swoosh!
I vanished from the spot. Then I appeared on the Teleportation Platform inside the organization. The Guards recognised me.
After nodding at them, I immediately went to the Floating building. On the way, I came across the other dept wizards. They glanced at me before minding their own business.
Soon, I arrived in front of the entrance of the Floating Building. After scanning my I.D., I walked inside.
Shortly afterwards,
I appeared at Elder Paul Lin's office. The door was open. Seeing that I walked in. Elder Paul Lin is sitting behind the desk.
"Vincent, you are fine. What happened out there?" Paul Lin stood up and asked.
If not for Elder Stella's words, he would have gone there to find Vincent himself.
"I'm fine elder, after sending you the location. I hid in the same spot. Then I heard a loud explosion at the hideout side."
"When I went there. I saw nothing was left. The entire place was flattened. Then I immediately decided to leave," I replied, as I sat opposite him.
Paul Lin quickly connected the dots. He thinks Elder Stella must have gone there to capture the killer. Then his gaze immediately softened.
He said, "Vincent, this mission went beyond my imagination. I didn't expect you to find the hideout of the culprit."
"You have directly helped Elder Stella to capture the killer. I'm sure she will remember this. Not only you got the support of the Special Mage Department."
"The Intelligence Tower might help you as well," Paul said with a smile.
I raised my eyebrows in surprise. I know that Elder Stella saved me during the council elders meeting. That's why I had agreed to help her.
But what's with the future? I'm not in a position to predict anything. As long as I don't increase the number of enemies apart from the Aristocratic Families. It would be fine to me
"Alright, elder. I'm going back to my dorm. See you tomorrow," I said to him.
"Good. Go and take a rest," Paul replied.
I nodded to him before standing up to leave.
Paul Lin watched him disappear. Then he sat back on his seat and called Elder Stella. He wants to confirm whether she has managed to capture the killer.
Inside the prison cell of the Intelligence Department. Stella has locked up the old man. This is not the only prison cell in the True Elements Society.
People locked up in this particular prison were later interrogated by capable wizards to collect information.
Continue your journey with empire
Currently, the old man Transmutation Wizard is unconscious on the ground. The room is full of white, including the floors, walls, and ceiling.
The prison door is an anti-magic door. Without magic, you can't even scratch these metal doors. After locking up the old man, Stella stood outside.
There are elders around her. These Elders were surprised to see someone locked by their Head Stella. But they don't have an idea about the identity of the Killer.
If they knew they would be shocked to the core.
Sigh!
A sigh left her mouth as she noticed her missing finger. Then she glanced at the elders around her. For safety, she decides to add an extra layer of protection.
From her storage bracelet, she takes out the scroll. The scroll was in white as well, but it shone like a starlight.
"The Supreme Lock Scroll," One of the elders exclaimed in surprise.
Hearing that other elders noticed this as well. They widened their eyes in disbelief. Because the Supreme Lock Scroll is used to lock the Level-10 Wizard.
But the Head Stella is a Level-9 Wizard. They don't know why she is using such a precious scroll. Before they could ask the identity of the prisoner.
Stella opens the scroll and injects her mana to activate the scroll. The Scroll shines more brightly. Seeing that she shot white the scroll at the prison door.
The white scroll then comes in contact with the prison door. The next second, it attached itself to the door.
The magic spell stored inside the scroll becomes activated. It starts to cover the room in the blink of an eye. When the whole room was sealed under the magic spell.
Stella sighed inwardly. She knows hereafter no one from outside can break the seal. If they want, they need a level-10 Wizard to remove the scroll from outside. Then only the seal would disappear.
More importantly, the old man Transmutation Wizard won't be able to break out from inside.
These Elders were shocked. They wanted answers.
Stella said, "He is a dangerous wizard. I don't want anyone to talk about this. I hope not a single word escapes from this tower."
After saying that, she releases her level-9 Mana a little bit. The whole cell starts to vibrate under pressure. The elders are all shuddered in fear. Then they nodded their heads.
Seeing that Stella dismisses the pressure.
She said, "I want 2 level-8 Wizards to guard this particular room. I'll be right back after meeting the Head of the Organisation."
Hearing that, the elders were even more shocked, and no one doubted her words. If the prisoner needs the Head of the Organisation's attention. Then they realized how serious this matter was.
Stella then leaves the place. When she returns to her room to check. She receives a call from Paul Lin.
"I almost forgot the kid," She muttered.
She then attends the call.
"Elder Paul, I'm yet to find the kid. Don't worry, I'll...," before she could complete her words.
"Vincent is back. He is doing fine. I just want to confirm did you capture the Transmutation Wizard," Paul's voice sounded from the other side.
Her eyes flash with a surprise. She then realizes that the kid must have returned after informing her.
"Yes, I captured him. I locked him up in our cell," She replied.
"Good, then I hope you won't forget to reward Vincent," Paul said.
"Don't worry, his help was crucial. I'll reward him," She said.
Then they spoke for a few more minutes before ending the call.
