Chapter 525 - 351: The Nine Palaces Formation, The Secret Realm About to Take Shape! _2
Chapter 525 - 351: The Nine Palaces Formation, The Secret Realm About to Take Shape! _2
As for the last vestige of deathly and Yin Qi, it came from nowhere else but the final ninth Undead Boss.
"Damn it, to do or not to do? It seems there’s a Secret Realm forming below, and once it takes shape, every living being within ten miles will be instantly sucked in. Fail to clear it and you can only die inside."
A Secret Realm is even more dangerous than an instance, yet high risk also means high reward.
Cultivation Techniques, treasures, resources, can all be obtained from a Secret Realm, especially one within the Sea of Realms.
As Lord Zi hesitated, the final great tomb shook on its own.
The burial site trembled, as if a dragon were turning over beneath the ground.
Inside the grave, the coffin lid was slowly pried open from the top, a headless shadow, with muscles on its pitch-black arms bulging, grabbed the front and back of the coffin lid with each hand to balance and prop it up.
The magnificent body, as solid as a rock, exuded an intimidating Power of Death, intentionally surging with malicious and fierce Qi, spreading from within the coffin to form a gust of Yin wind, sweeping in all directions.
Outside the coffin, there was a large pit, and a row of stone-carved horses, which had been standing still as if guarding the tomb, now emitted wisps of green ghostly flames.
The ghost flames, like waves, scorched the stone spirit horses, and then gradually seeped into the statues.
As more ghost flames invaded, the lids of the stone horses’ eyes suddenly burst with a green glow, two points of green nether flames began to burn, and then generated vibrations of Spirit.
The headless shadow, holding up the coffin lid as though lifting a massive boulder, strained its iron arms, and "crack" sounds of breaking came from above, with chunks of stone falling onto it.
As it exerted greater force, the coffin lid shattered with a loud boom, turning into a cloud of stone dust, which was scattered in all directions by the Yin Qi.
At the same time, a flame of soul burst forth from the eye sockets of the stone horses, instantly enveloping the entire statues, and then upon the gathering of more death Qi, the stone horses "crack crack" gradually stood up.
The stone spirits had transformed into true Undead stone horses!
The headless shadow somersaulted out of the coffin and landed directly on the back of an Undead stone horse with a thud.
A "ssss" sound emanated from the horse’s sealed mouth as a tremendous Power of Death immediately coalesced around the shadow and horse, forming ink-black armor and weapons on their surfaces!
The great tomb shook, the black longsword cold and eerie, the black armor radiant with nether flames, the Undead stone horse stepped forward, inching toward the tomb’s gates, each step causing the ground to tremble.
"Do it! I didn’t even want to trouble you, Lord Zi, but you delivered yourself right to my doorstep. Since that’s the case, go join the other eight Undead Bosses!"
Watching everything unfold within the tomb on his map, Zi Liyuan cursed under his breath and, with a wave of his hand, had the Skeleton Warrior Bosses immediately surround the tomb entrance, forming a semi-circular defensive formation, ready for battle.
Zi Liyuan, along with the Skeleton Archer Bosses, did not retreat but, taking advantage of the range, positioned himself behind the Skeleton Warriors, began to congregate Spell models in sequence, ready to unleash an attack at any moment.
Accompanied by a heavy thud, the giant stone wall blocking the tomb’s entrance cracked in numerous places, although not yet shattered, was close to breaking.
One can only say, the power of the Undead stone horse was no small thing; just one hoof was nearly enough to smash the Dragonstone sealing the tomb’s entrance.
"Nice horse! Just wondering if an Undead horse born from a stone spirit might be too hard on the buttocks."
Lord Zi really hadn’t expected that within this great tomb, there lurked not one, but two Undead Bosses!
The Headless Knight was just a Third Order Peak in strength, but this Boss was a lot stronger than the previous eight, because the others were merely elite Boss targets, while this one was a rare Boss template.
But what really caught Lord Zi’s attention was the Undead stone horse beneath the Headless Knight!
Also of Third Order Peak strength, but its template was above rare—a Hero Boss!
Damn!
A horse stronger than its master, completely defying the truth that strength is supreme amongst the Undead!
At this moment, Lord Zi felt an urge to take this Undead stone horse as his mount.
After all, riding in a palanquin carried by Skeletons required him to guide and even control them with his Spirit; otherwise, a careless move from the Skeleton Boss might just fling him out.
Where would one find a horse that’s comfy moving on its own?
Missing the days and nights riding Black Dragon Sister Daisi +1!
"Decided, just kill the Headless Knight and tame the Undead Stone Horse!"
Just as Lord Zi had made up his mind, another "boom" resonated, the ground trembled, and the door of the Dragonstone tomb shattered into countless pieces, shooting outwards.
The Headless Knight sat atop the Undead Stone Horse, holding a black blade, clad in black armor, exuding a ruthless and fierce aura as it emerged from the tomb, step by step.
"Die!"
A row of Spears of Death, suspended in mid-air, streaked out like meteors, one after another, exploding against the body of the Headless Knight.
The black armor, as if made of paper, was easily pierced by the Spears of Death, which effortlessly tore through the shell of the Headless Knight, creating a through-and-through hole in his chest.
With "hiss hiss hiss..." sounds, over a dozen Spears of Death opened up multiple holes, directly knocking the Headless Knight off the Undead Stone Horse to the ground.
That wasn’t all; twenty-two Shadow Arrows fell like rain, accurately bombarding the shattered shell of the Headless Knight, bringing up a series of blood-red damage numbers.
Colorful Elemental Arrows, dark Spears of Death, and dark green poison spears...
Countless spells transformed into brutally violent attacks, hitting the Headless Knight all at once, causing numerous massive blood-red damage numbers to rise.
Bone knives, bone arrows, all carrying the full strength of Skeleton Bosses, became raging attacks pouring down on the Headless Knight.
The fate of this Undead Boss was sealed from the start; the only reason Lord Zi Liyuan hesitated was out of concern for the Secret Realm forming beneath this grand tomb.
Now that this thing had come out looking for death, it couldn’t blame Lord Zi for smashing it to bits!
Attack after attack came rapidly, and in less than thirty seconds, the Headless Knight was engulfed by the onslaught, following the footsteps of the eight companions before him to the ghostly realm.
But having killed the Headless Knight, Zi Liyuan was baffled.
Because the Undead Stone Horse didn’t make any move at all.
Ever since the Headless Knight had fallen, this newly arisen Undead Boss seemed to have entered into a state of stillness, as if it had fallen asleep, completely motionless.
Shaking his head, he observed the hero Boss from a distance; seeing no action and feeling no threat made Lord Zi curious but cautious, he approached the Undead Stone Horse. He reached out to touch it and found it wasn’t hard like stone but cool to the touch, feeling like jade.
And as Lord Zi’s hand made contact with the Undead Stone Horse, a vague intention appeared in his mind.
"You, are strong, can serve, as my master!"
The voice was intermittent, as if the spirit wasn’t stable, but it conveyed a willingness to recognize him as its master.
"Interesting, do you think the Headless Knight was too weak, so you want to switch masters, and that’s why you didn’t help him?"
A smirk appeared on Lord Zi’s face as he directly mounted the Undead Stone Horse.
On its back, there was no discomfort at all; instead, it felt warm and soft like jade, and there was a wave of Power of Death that raised his buttocks, acting like a cushion and preventing any sensation of hardness.
"Good, good, as long as you faithfully serve as my mount, I can help you ascend to a Lord Boss template."
He was quite pleased with this new mount.

Too bad it couldn’t be ridden day and night like Black Dragon Sister Daisi.
"Minions, the Boss is dead, time to get to work!"
