As the Top Rankers of the Survivor Leaderboard were aiming to surpass whatever Shane could achieve, the latter was simply focused on minimizing his usage of stamina and Spirit Points in order to last longer in this event.
The moment Shane confirmed the arena reset and entered Level 21, he was greeted by the eerie sound of the next zombies. He heard their piercing wails as soon as they entered!
[ Level 21 initiated. Opponents: five Screamer Zombies. ]
'So it's them this time...'
Across the battlefield, Shane saw the five Screamer Zombies materialize, and they were all ready to pounce on him.
Their elongated jaws were already wide, and they were even emitting some eerie vibrations as they all waited for the sign to start the battle.
What made them a bit more intimidating was their long hair and pulsing veins that glowed faintly along their decayed skin… It was as if they could instantaneously release their sound-based abilities.
"Five Screamers," Shane muttered with a smirk on his face.
He could finally use one of his important weapons…

Just like that, he pulled out his Sentinel Mk-IV Automated Turret from his Inventory.
This weapon was previously unused against the Spitters since they weren't that durable against the acid attacks of the Spitters, especially the Chief Spitters.
Since he only had one Automated Turret, he had to make sure that this weapon could assist him on higher levels in this event. He couldn't get it damaged against the Spitters.
Anyway, as he activated it, the device hummed to life as it started to operate…

"Cloud… Take control of it." Shane instructed.
[ Affirmative. ]
Soon, its sleek black body extended its dual barrels, one for energy bullets and another for incendiary bombs.
In the meantime, Shane gripped his pump-action shotgun, which was loaded and ready.

As the match began, the Screamer Zombies opened their jaws, emitting shrieking soundwaves that rippled through the air.

The five Screamer Zombies were completely unaware as the Turret locked onto the nearest Screamer and unleashed a volley of energy bullets…

The concentrated beams tore through the Screamer Zombie's chest in rapid succession.
They were completely incapable of dodging the Energy Bullets!
A second later, it switched to its incendiary bombs, launching a fiery projectile that exploded on impact, engulfing two other Screamers in searing flames.

'Mhmm?' Shane was confused as he didn't think it was necessary to use incendiary bombs. However, he soon heard from Cloud that it just wanted to see how effective it was against them.
That way, they would be able to adjust accordingly once the number of Screamer Zombies increased. Shane nodded at this as he realized that it made sense.
Anyway, Cloud was undoubtedly intelligent for an Artificial Intelligence, so he just let it be.
Anyway, Shane also fired his shotgun even once to try and see if it could penetrate their skins.

Just like that, the spread of pellets obliterated the head of a Screamer Zombie that had managed to stagger closer.
Within moments, the battlefield was silent. Shane grinned as the system notification appeared.

'Alright… This is a lot easier than the Spitters.' Shane thought to himself. Of course, if it was other Survivors, they would certainly have different ideas.
After all, the Screamer Zombie's attack was sound-based! There was no way to block it with a shield or any normal method. Even dodging it was futile!
On the other hand, the Spitter Zombies's acid spit could at least be dodged or blocked.
It was completely difficult to deal with!
Perhaps only those with Aura and mystical means could defend against it. If they do not have a special method like him, then they have to endure with their vitality and strength, then kill them as fast as possible.
'With my Tokens infused with Aura Sentinel, the others shouldn't have a problem dealing with this.' Shane thought to himself.

Shane then watched as Cloud controlled that Turret and noticed that it actually lifted itself a bit, and soon, it had a better line of sight for the Screamers.
'So it can do that.' Shane thought.
Then, the Turret's Advanced Targeting System quickly calculated firing patterns, unleashing alternating streams of energy bullets and incendiary bombs, neutralizing clusters of enemies.
