Chapter 4187 Visiting The Quake Fist Sect

Chapter 4187  Visiting The Quake Fist Sect

Davis got Myria from the alchemy chamber and brought her outside the mini-realm.

Together, they made their way to the Quake Fist Sect. They were in a concealed state, so Early Stage Autarchs could forget discovering them with their senses, and even Mid Stage Autarchs would find it hard-pressed to detect their presence.

As for their Anarchic Divergent aura, it was still concealed by the effects of the Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill. It may take years before the effect disappears or weakens.

Once Davis and Myria arrived at an isolated area within the outer region of the sect, they waited. Davis had sent a message to Elder Nonek to bring Fairy Runalise outside, and Elder Nonek told him this place would be good for a secret meeting since this was one of the regions he was in charge of.

Floating high above the misty skies of the Quake Fist Sect was an isolated island. However, it was hovering like an ethereal pearl suspended by an unseen thread.

This island was home to many wild, spatial-attributed savage beasts. It was a place where jade-green hills undulated across its surface like waves on a peaceful sea. Rivers also flowed in a mystical manner as they fell off the island and rose to the island on the other side, forming an ecosystem. More than anything, the spatial heaven and earth energy was a bit thicker than the other areas around.

But despite its serenity, it was a harsh place as this is where the disciples of the Quake Fist Sect were sent for punishments that warranted death but were too talented to die. As long as they could survive this land for a period of time, they were able to return to the sect and reclaim their glory.

It could be said to be a trial of survival.

Nonetheless, Elder Nonek reassured that this year around, there were no disciples on the island, so it became a good place to meet up with Fairy Runalise.

Davis and Myria kept waiting for over an hour. They chatted a lot, not minding if Fairy Runalise came or not. Myria mostly thanked him for treating Ellia right and spending more time with her, as she had always felt bad for supposedly 'stealing her man' and cutting into the time that originally belonged to her.

He told Myria that was not true since he would be gaining more beauties in the future to offset that mistake, causing two fingers to pinch his arm like a vice.

He basically flirted and humored her for the time being before a silhouette finally arrived in the distance.

It was none other than Fairy Runalise.

"She really came…" Davis uttered with some surprise.

He was quite intrigued, wondering how far that coin flip would take him.

Fairy Runalise's speed slowed as she appeared before them. She wore a white veil that hid her exquisite beauty and was clad in a blue robe with sea wave patterns as though implying she was the calm before the storm. Her white eyes were practically heavenly, shining like a reflective jewel that exposed the evil in one's heart.

However, those eyes of her were now cloudy, squinted into tiny slits as she gazed at Davis with some apprehension.

"What do you want?" Her voice flowed out in waves like an echo, startling the wild, savage beasts.

As they caught the sign of a powerful being like an Autarch, they fled far away.

"Oh, you actually broke through?" Davis raised his brows as he sensed Fairy Runalise's aura.

She had entered the Level Four Autarch Stage.

Fairy Runalise folded her hands as her eyes flashed with a jade light stemming from her physique, "I did. If I had fought with you in this state, the result wouldn't be the same."

Davis was fairly surprised. There was a wider gap between the early stage and the mid-stage when it came to energy capacity and comprehension ability. The results of their battle surely would've been different.

"Heh." However, Davis scoffed, "At that point, do you think I will fight fairly? I will resort to using even more ridiculous treasures."

"…!"

Fairy Runalise spread her hands and looked as though she was about to scream at him but managed to hold herself back as she folded her hands again and clenched her fists, her bosoms heaving. It was as though she was careful that she would mess up by harming him.

However, this behavior was precisely bizarre to Davis.

The Fairy Runalise he knew when he fought her wouldn't have given a single damn whether she died or not while battling him. Yet, she was restraining herself now using some strange reasons that appeared in her head that he had no way of knowing about.

Honestly, he expected her to nearly commit suicide by exposing him on one of these days, but that still didn't happen.

"So all that beating caused you to break through? It seemed like I must beat you more."

Davis tried provoking her. It only made her twitch ever so lightly. However, Davis could see the look of hatred as slightly lessened. It was as though she was starting to understand his circumstances.

However, Davis didn't believe so. Given a chance, he was aware she would still kill him.

"Foolish man. I don't want to see your face and suppress myself from killing you. If you have nothing to say, I will leave."

Fairy Runalise turned to leave, causing Davis to smile lightly.

"I told you to gather information for me or head to the Upper Realms, remember? Please investigate those three villains and report to me about what is happening in the secret realm that appeared in the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm."

"…"

Fairy Runalise's bosoms heaved as she glared at him with her ghostly eyes. It was as though she couldn't believe he would dare to still ask such a thing from her.

The atmosphere turned silent for eight whole seconds before Fairy Runalise opened her mouth.

"Fine. I will gather information as I promised. In exchange, promise me that you won't harm innocents."

Davis blinked, "When have I harmed innocents? Can you show me one such incident where I have used my powers wrongly?"

"…" Fairy Runalise paused to think before she shook her head.

"I can't tell but you're an Anarchic Divergent. Perhaps you had done something really really bad in one of your past lives. Either way, your fate is decided. At least you will not harm the Quake Fist Sect for the time being. If they come in search of treasures, promise me you will not harm them."

"Sorry, I can't promise that. If someone wants to harm me, then they will suffer the consequences. Whether they die or live and suffer or go scot-free is up to me to choose. Besides, your promise is set in stone unless you want to go back on your words and be a shameless Heaven's Warrior."

"…" Fairy Runalise shook her head before sighing.

"Fine, I'll be watching you as I leave a soul body here. You better behave."

"Well, as long as there's no other Heaven's Warrior foolish enough to step into my mini-realm…"

Davis inclined his head and implied.

Fairy Runalise didn't respond. She raised her head, appearing to be thinking of something, before she opened her mouth.
