Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 156 Power of Mist

Chapter 156 Power of Mist

Max smiled as he took out his black sword. "Come on then." His sword began to shine in red and blue glowing hues as he used 10% of his Fusion State aura. Almost instantly, the intent releasing from him caused the air itself to tremble.

"I don't know what this aura you're using is, but anything below level 3 Aura is trash," Arthur said, shouting, as his figure began to release white mist before vanishing into it.

Bang!

Almost instantly, an explosion erupted at Max's position as his sword clashed against Arthur's twin blades. Sparks flew in all directions, but neither of them took a step back.

"Good, but I'm increasing my strength to another level," Arthur shouted as his entire right hand became enveloped in white mist, boosting his power even further. However, Max still didn't budge. Instead, the tiles beneath their feet cracked like spider webs.

"Just how crazy is your physical strength?!" Arthur questioned, his face filled with disbelief. He had used the power of his two avatars just now and yet couldn't even make Max tremble. It was as if he was hitting a solid, impenetrable wall.

Max smiled slightly, increasing the strength in his arms. He pushed Arthur back, forcing him to take several steps back.

"You sure are full of surprises," Max said with a grin, holding his blade high. Calming himself, he recalled the Momentum Sword technique, which had been gifted to him by his dear friend.

The technique had only three moves. Fast Momentum Sword was the first.

Max glanced at Arthur and swung his sword down. "1st move."

Arthur easily blocked the move with his twin blades. "Try something better," he sneered, sensing how weak the earlier attack had been.

Max remained silent and swung his sword again. "2nd move."

This time, the sword attack was a bit faster and sharper than before, but Arthur easily blocked it again with his twin blades. "Come on now. Try harder. Let me see your full strength." Arthur playfully encouraged him, wanting nothing more than to toy with Max. Seeing Max's attacks, he felt it was the perfect opportunity to do so.

"3rd move," Max muttered silently, swinging his sword again. Once more, Arthur blocked it, but this time, he frowned, sensing something strange.

"4th move," Max said suddenly, and at that moment, his attack came again. Arthur swung his twin blades, and they collided with Max's sword.

Clang!

However, this time, he could barely repel the strike.

"You…!" Arthur's face turned cold as he realized what Max was planning, but it was the technique Max had used that made him even angrier. He recognized it well—it belonged to one of the geniuses from the South Region. But he couldn't fathom what had gone wrong for Max to possess it.

"5th move," Max's sword came down once more. Feeling frustrated, Arthur used the power of his three avatars, his left arm also now covered in white mist.

"You're starting to annoy me," Arthur shouted, swinging both his blades to counter the incoming attack. Discover more stories at My Virtual Library Empire

Clang!

Max was blown away but didn't lose his stance. Stabilizing himself, he swung his sword again.

"Don't think that your sword will reach me from that far—" Arthur scoffed at first, but before he could finish his words, he found Max already halfway to him. 'His speed is also increasing with the attack power,' he thought, frowning.

"7th move…" Max muttered, appearing in front of Arthur and slashing down with his sword.

Arthur channeled the power of four avatars into his body and slashed forward with his dual blades.

Bang!

Max was pushed back slightly, but that was it. "8th move." The moment he raised his sword again to attack, he disappeared and reappeared just before Arthur, swinging his sword down.

Clang!

Arthur blocked Max's sword again, but he realized that Max's attacks were becoming much faster and stronger as time passed.

"9th move." Max slashed, and Arthur blocked the attack, but almost immediately, Max attacked again. Arthur blocked with his twin swords again, finding it increasingly difficult to stop Max's strikes. His attacks were getting stronger and faster.

"10th move." Another strike came, faster and sharper than before, but Arthur had enough. Channeling the power of all his five avatars, he slashed downward with both blades.

Bang!

The moment their swords collided, Max was blasted away like a broken kite. However, that was when Arthur's figure began to transform. White mist covered almost every part of his body, leaving only his head exposed.

Max glanced at Arthur's transformation, a smile forming on his face. 'Just at the right time.'

"11th move," Max muttered as he appeared directly in front of Arthur, his sword descending with terrifying momentum.

Arthur prepared to attack Max possibly to kill him, but before the attack could land, Max pulled back his sword and unleashed another strike.

"12th move."

Arthur's instincts screamed at him to react for it was too fast. One moment he was glancing at the first attack and then the second came. "Damn!" His twin blades moved to defend. Yet, before he could fully block, Max had already launched another attack.

"13th move."

"That was too fast!" The crowd of geniuses gasped in unison. The sheer speed of Max's technique was unlike anything they had ever seen. Each strike came before the previous one had even completed its arc.

"14th move… 15th move… 16th move…"

Arthur's frustration turned to alarm as he struggled to keep up. His twin blades clashed repeatedly with Max's sword, but each impact drained more of his strength. His mind raced, trying to process how Max could maintain such relentless speed and precision.

"17th move… 18th move…"

"What is this speed?!" The geniuses couldn't believe their eyes. It was as though Max was defying the very laws of time and space. The echoes of his earlier strikes still lingered in the air, yet he was already several moves ahead.

By the time Max unleashed his 20th move, the reality of his power sank in for everyone watching. The 11th move still hadn't fully landed, yet Max had already finished his sequence.

"Too fast!" someone in the crowd of geniuses exclaimed, breaking the stunned silence.

Arthur's teeth clenched as he channeled all the power of his five avatars, his white-mist-covered form radiating immense energy. He unleashed the strongest attack he could muster with his dual blades.

Bang!

With one final attack, Max's assaults were shattered as he was pushed back far.

Max glanced at his sword, thinking to himself, 'A sword technique combined with Fusion State is too strong!' He hadn't expected such a dramatic increase in strength, but he was stunned by his own power as he moved from the 11th to the 20th move in the blink of an eye.

He had believed that a common rank sword technique would be too weak for him, which is why he hadn't used it against Revenna—she was simply too strong. But he decided to test it against Arthur, as his battle style seemed more focused on close combat.

But now, Max was left speechless. The strength of the technique had completely blown him away.

What Max failed to realize was that he had mastered the technique to the Perfection stage1, and a technique at that level was at its deadliest form, no matter the rank of the technique.

Five stages of mastery for a technique: Beginner, Proficient, Master, Expert, and Perfection
