Rean narrowed his eyes. "Cultivating from zero again? We have just made our way back to the Peak Stage of the Transition Realm..."

Roan didn't seem bothered by that, though. "That is not a problem. I managed to make a batch of seven Void Shattering Pills. We used two of them, so we still have another five. Even if we reset both Body and Energy Cultivations to zero, we could recover to the Peak Stage of the Transition Realm in a moment."

"What about our souls?" Rean couldn't help but ask. "The Technique has Soul in the name, but it didn't say we have to reset our Soul cultivation. It only mentioned the Body and Energy Cultivations."

[First of all, your soul doesn't have a cultivation,] Sister Orb explained.

"It... doesn't?" And the twins were obviously puzzled by those words. "We have heard hundreds of times how our Soul is at the Peak of the Divinity Realm."

The twins had to admit Sister Orb was right. They had never cultivated the soul before. They had met some races before who had more focus on the Soul, like the Zasfin Race back in the Zasfin Planet. However, the twins themselves truly had never cultivated the soul. The closest to it they had ever done was improving their soul power through other methods, but never cultivation.

It made sense, of course. The twins' souls always improved with each breakthrough, and they had stronger souls than pretty much any other race. Even races that focus on their souls above all else would have a hard time matching the twins' soul power. Their cultivation technique and the system were that good. Saying that their souls were equivalent to the soul of a Peak Divinity Realm cultivator wasn't wrong. But that definitely wasn't a cultivation realm.

"Does that mean we don't need to make our souls go back to what they were when we were born in the cultivation side of the Lisan Universe?" Roan asked his principal concern. Cultivation for them at the moment was extremely fast, and that was greatly in part because they did not have to improve their soul strength anymore.

While one cultivates, one is also improving one's soul, even if it is not being cultivated. A weak soul definitely will take much longer to progress than a stronger one. As mentioned before, the twins' Peak Divinity Realm Soul had no need to improve anything, so Rean and Roan focused 100% on the energy side. It wasn't just because they had a lot of Spiritual Stone to use however they saw fit.

[Exactly,] Sister Orb confirmed. [Since you never cultivated your souls before, there is nothing to reset your souls to. But, at the same time, your souls will be the things that will improve the least once you switch to this technique. After all, your souls are already this strong, and, thanks to the system's support during all these years, they are already close to what they will become with the new technique. There is very little to gain until you finally have your Breakthrough into the Celestial Realm.]

The twins sighed in relief. Roan didn't like to give Void Shattering Pills to those who had never been to the Void Tempering Realm before. Taking the pill without going through the cultivation realms will make you much weaker than a normal Void Tempering Realm cultivator. The soul, obviously, was one of the main reasons for that.

The soul needs to be strong enough to support one's cultivation. The Void Shattering Pill will improve it with each breakthrough, but it is nothing compared to properly cultivating each realm. Even with Roan's pill, the soul would only improve the bare minimum to support the Void Shattering Realm. Of course, the twins' souls were already as strong as they could be, so they didn't need to worry about such things.

"Then it is settled. We have to buy this technique, and then we can use the Void Shattering Pill to return to the Peak Stage of the Transition Realm straight away. We have plenty of Spirit Stones for the breakthroughs, after all," Roan commented.

[Err... Ahem... I wouldn't do that if I were you.] Sister Orb quickly stopped the twins.

[You see, the Void Shattering Pill will only cultivate energy. It barely improves the soul just to match the Void Tempering Realm power. It does not cultivate the body. Also... the pill was made to use Spiritual Energy or Divine Energy. What you need is Sky Energy and the pill will be pretty much useless on that front.]

Rean quickly tuned to Roan, patting his shoulder. "Here's your moment to shine. Go back to your Alchemist Workshop and create a new Sky Energy Void Shattering Pill."

Roan's mouth twitched. "Why don't you ask for a miracle? That probably is easier to happen."
