Chapter 74 Solution

While the Chief Elders were checking out Jake and his friends, Jake and his friends were carefree and enjoying their meal.

"What is this mark?" Dio asked Rami.

"That is the mark of the Tainted one," Rami sighed and said. "It's a pretty nasty thing."

"Those who bear those marks are halfway to being Tainted, but your case is special since you have two Cores, allowing you to remain only half-Tainted."

"But still, it will whisper for you to kill all living," Rami said as he knocked out Dio, who was approaching him with a fruit knife.

"It's still in the early stages, so your way of targeting me is still immature," Rami said as he turned the fruit knife to ashes.

He then picked up the unconscious Dio and carried him to a special room.

It was like a normal room, but the difference was that it wasn't filled with anything that could be used as a weapon.

All the things in the room were made of soft foam.

Rami laid Dio on the foam bed and then exited the room.

"Haah, now I have to train him," Rami sighed and poured himself a cup of coffee.

Sipping the coffee, he looked at the mirror.

"Never would I have thought I would meet another like you," Rami mumbled, remembering the beautiful lady whom he used to call mother.

Also, whom he killed by his own hands.

"I will save him," Rami said as he sipped his coffee.

On the Granvis Clan side.

The site where Granvis family is near a dangerous forest filled with unimaginable number of beasts and monsters alike.

The patriarch of Granvis clan in fury tried to attack Lyra but James shielded her with his own body.

A genius died that day, the injury causes James core to broke, causing all of his strength to leak.

Lyra in swift motion ran away with James.

After that they settled in a small village, their life was going smoothly, James and Lyra even had a son Dio, but the injuries caught up and James died just a year after Dio was born.

Patriarch laughed happily and accepted them into the family.

Lyra and Dio became part of the Granvis family but it irked the second son of the Patriarch, after his big brother foolish act, he was supposed to become the next patriarch and now another hurdle arrived in front of him.

Until Dio reached the age of 12 it was him who was making things difficult for the mother and the son.

But now he can no longer touch them, after 12 years of hellish life Lyra and Dio experienced Joy, Patriarch arranged Dio to study in the most prestigious academy of their world.

While Lyra now had the status of queen in Granvis family.

Soon Dio left home and successfully enrolled in the Academy.

The second son felt even more threatened causing him to take a dangerous step.

He killed his own father and then killed Lyra in a cruel way.

He let the guards play with her until she died.

Now the second son became the patriarch, he reached the position he dreamed for so long but his happiness didn't long that longer.

I just 3 days after his ascension to Patriarch position, he is now crawling in a rotten prison.

Just after a day of Lyra death his territory was invaded by Fey folk.

It was total massacre not a single blood of Granvis family lived that day, the Feys are beautiful but they are also equally unforgiving, even if Lyra was commoner but due to long lifespan of Feys, they had lot of time to reach higher ranks.

In just the small family of Lyra they have more than one peak Emperor rank.

Not to mention their in laws, it was tremendous power difference compared to Granvis clan who only have three Peak Emperors.

The Second Son now the Patriarch looked at the guard and asked "Why?"

Guard looked at him and then lowering his pants he pissed at him.

And it was not one time thing, guards from this prison did the same thing to him.

"Our life cores tell us what our family member has been through, your crimes are fully exposed, it's futile to play the innocent card"

The guard sneered at him and then beat him too.

"Do you know why despite being the most beautiful race, their isn't a single Fey slave?"

"Because not even the Monarchs have power to stop our life core connection"

"But she was an exile!" the second son said.

"So how?"

An exile don't have any life core connection After all.

"She was an exile not her son" the guard said.

"Impossible, her son core wasn't Life core" Second son yelled.

"he had dual core" The guard laughed and said.

Second son fell silent Only despair was visible in his eyes.

He already knows about his comrades in prison, they are being tortured for more than a century just for killing a Fey and his crime is even more than that.

Some people with points ears and human like features are sitting here.

One of them is crying, she is Lyra mother.

"Calm down" her husband hugged her and said.

HE then looked at others and said "Granvis clan is destroyed, even a single drop of his blood doesn't remain"

"Ara~but isn't Lyra son still alive?" a busty woman smiled and said.

Her eyes contained a dangerous glint "We should also kill him"

"shut up, Nyra"

"How can you say that about your own nephew?" An old man said.

Others ignored her and then old man looked at his son, "when you will bring him home?"

"I don't know if I can even" Lyra father said.

"why can't you bring him home?" Old man frowned and asked.

"He is tainted" Lyra father said and everyone gasped even Nyra.

"those b@stards" old man slammed the table causing it to broke in pieces.

Others were also seething in anger hearing him while Lyra mother fainted.

"They tortured her to that extent!" Nyra gasped for air as she imagined the horrific fate of her sister.

"where is he?" Nyra asked her father.

"I said Where Is He?" Nyra yelled and asked.

"why are asking it?" her father asked back.

"of course to protect him, do you expect me to leave him with those hairless monkeys" Nyra said.

Her father nodded and then told her the address of Dio or Rami house, currently where Dio is staying.
