Not gonna read simply because title is Japanese. I hate when translated novels still use Japanese word like the title "Jujutsushi Wa Yuusha Ni Narenai". And i can only assume that more things will be in japanese throughout the novel. (Naruto fanfics often do this with the jutsu. Still using "Kage bushin no jutsu," instead of "Multi shadow clone jutsu.") Yeah I guess that's pretty annoying "A sorcerer cannot become a hero"Translated it for you. It's decent, it's not the best but it's not that bad either and so far there are no r18, some possible members of the harem but nothing is clear yet. However, I enjoyed the 30 chapters I read quite a bit ; I think if you read this as a children's story and not as a serious novel, you might enjoy it too. 5/10 18 dias sem lançamentos? f#ck Why does the MC need everything explained to him? They needed the stat categories explained they needed to be explained about traps and drops. A 5 year old knows about these things. I liked it. It's a pretty straightforward story when you can sometimes predict what will happen but it's interesting to read how dungeon designs it's rooms and how people interact with them. I shall Undertake this great task of pioneering this book, wish me luck Okay so new entry, 20seconds after former entry, the first line killed me. I don’t know what I expected going into the novel after reading this comment but“ Once upon a time a god created a universe, as gods are wont to do” did indeed kill me ????? Do you mean the grammar was bad because that is actually a correct sentence Read it again "Once upon a time a god created a universe, as gods are wont to do”This statement is correct. You can look it up. 'Wont' is a word that describes a person's customary behavior. Maybe you thought they were saying "won't" and made a mistake but they didn't. Hmm I see, but still it's still a no brainer, very unorthodox. I get the impression its like this would be like a slice of life pov from the pov of the dungeon core or a lot of power leveling and creations of floors as the dungeon core Anyone gonna test this out for the class?

The author knows how to write, able to delve into the world much more easily.Story is slow, but I prefer them, once it touches later chapter, u don't want to put the book down. I don't really get why folks praise this novel so much. Yes it is competently written, however that doesn't remove how boring the story feels.Or maybe I'm just completely sick of reading about young naive children as main characters. Either way, I do not recommend. Perhaps you have read too many low tier fast paced novels that you started to think they are good but when a decent one does appear it’s to pleasant to you.But I agree the release schedule is slow really good story. But sadly author only posts once per week and the chapters are only little longer than average chapters of other novels (2,8k words), and from the last chapter I read (currently 10 chapters away from the up to date but still it took 2 months) it doesnt look like it will end like korean novels with 200 ish chapter so the author probably plannig to do 500+ but just to get to 500 chapter with the current pace it will take 6+ years. Tbh I dont belive the author will be writing after that much time. Op mc? Saw the weak to strong tag and I have doubts about it so far not really op strong but by no means op far from it should have a tragedy tag... How tragic is it??? Please give the actual tragedies that occurs in snippets with SPOILER tag. This is top tier xianxia. Before this, I recommend Coiling Dragon Ring Saga for newbies as even though it's not the best, it's "classic" cultivation story and is a decent enough introduction. But now, I recommend this, the only bad part about this is that it's not yet complete.I wouldn't exactly recommend this to veteran readers tho, but if you do plan to read it, it shouldn't be low in your priority, maybe mid or part of the next 3 books you'll read. is Coiling Dragon really that good? I started with AWE and when I tried to get into Coiling Dragon a couple months after being into the genre, I just couldn't. Coiling isn't good, it isn't bad either. I think the reason why it's recommended and respected is because it's one of the first titles to get translated. It's also one of the first that set a trend basically. If you've watched Nausicaa (really old Hayao Miyazaki film) it's the same logic, that film isn't good or bad (well, it's pretty decent) but that's because a lot of films already refined the formula that Nausicaa created and improved on it. TL;DR: Coiling dragon is decent and you gotta give it props for being old but still holding up better than a lot of other xianxia. There's also the fact that it's a decent execution of the xianxia formula that it's a good enough recommendation for those who are just starting to read xianxia web novels. Excellently written, you can tell it's not a translated novel. What I like most about this novel is the character development and meaningful interactions between the MC and other characters. In many CN translated novels all side characters are just foils to show the MC's excellence, but here, they really do stand out and have relevance. This isn't an OP face-slap type of novel, it's almost basically coming-of-age cultivation novel so far. 4.7/5 Quite good i say! At start it seems no different than any other novels but it is quite nice read. 5/5 from my side no complaint about this novel. starts out really cool but later on turns meh. his love interest right now is really weird and unfounded. the biggest issue i have is that he really doesnt act like his age suggests and is weirdly more naive after the big event happens. the world also doesnt seem to be that deep. another generic existential crisis in a fight against "demons" where the demons are fewer in numbers but have higher talent. an issue that isnt related to the plot is release rate and overal plot progression. as it is right now it will take a least a few years for the story to finish.

The plot revolves around a 13-year-old training with wooden swords alongside other teens. Enter a weird pervert Duke who insists the street-discovered 13-year-olds address him as Father. The main character seems always ready to s*ck d*ck of his 13-year-old friend, who's predicted to become a terrorist. I mean, if I take a shot every time "Imperial Terrorist" is mentioned, I will be dead drunk. The main character is both weak and irritating, with numerous pointless dialogues among the 13-year-olds. A lot of the time. I really need it to be that, or I’m not going to be strong enough to do anything at all.” This is what this novel is about, it’s about a normal person with normal needs and goals. This is what makes this novel stand out so much and makes you feel connected to MC. One of the best novels I’ve read, truly a masterpiece! Really good novel with a proper lawful good good-oriented MC, around the age of 15... Don't expect too much OPness, at least in the beginning, and also no Xianxia cultivation-like character who only cares about 'benefits'. The book is a modern novel, with modern mindset characters and a proper story. The majority of ranobes audience won't like this, saying how MC is weak, or how there is no big-brain giga Chad planning and scheming. This novel is NOT of that genre. Think more along the lines of a slice-of-life action novel. Superhero dynamics has been overhyped by the intro and doesn't play much role, YET... Will have more focus in the future but more largescale things are happening than Earth's superhero dynamic. Give it a try, its along the lines of Mother of Learning and The Wandering Inn. One of my fav books rn.PS- free to read on Royal Road, books pirated here may have formatting issue as well as typos which were later fixed by author. This to say this not a trash, "read cause I'm bored and need filler novel". This is potentially a future great. While you might want to let it cook for a while longer (despite it being ~1000 pages already) .when you do get around to it I think you will greatly enjoy it. To be prepared though its a slowburner so don't expect anything approaching instant gratification or constant "numbers going up" styled goings on. Instead you can expect a coherently crafted world, and challenges to the characters that leave behind realistic scars and consequences. Not to say the story is grimdark or emo, but much like say, The Wandering Inn, those tragedies, and sadness are as much a part of the human condition as the happy, or diligently training ones, and thus also present in the novel as appropriate to telling a compelling Story. I like this novel sadly something has gone wrong and you cannot read a good bit of the things that other people say when it's said through the system so that sucks Big meh novel. Only read to 24 and while it has potential, it’s been fairly boring so far. MC has little power, and little ability to gain power. Could see the author trying to leverage his niche abilities into OPness but it’s a stretch. Plus, state of MC and worldbuilding goes against general Ranobe enjoyment.SpoilerModern-day superhero story, except that in universe earth essentially signed over the planet to be slaves to an alien empire. Earth is called a “resource planet”, the system essentially provides access to abilities that aliens grant, and you gain super powers by signing yourself over as what could be generously described as “indentured servants”. The powers granted are only so the individual is of more use to the aliens. MC get the job of “Rabbit” which is named after the aliens cute, helpful pets. It’s a class that provides essentially servant staff abilities. The power to fold napkins better, set cutlery, etc. In exchange for those powers, MC is on call 24/7 to be summoned by his alien master who will use him to complete whatever job they want and send him off with some “currency” (not valuable to them only to humans). MC has no agency in his servitude, and the aliens barely treat them like people. Spoiler So what’s the point of getting powers are they fighting the aliens or doing anything if he wants to be a sidekick it means there hero’s and hero’s imply villains so what’s the deal? Spoilerhumans are so worthless to the aliens they don’t care what they do on Earth, only that they act properly when summoned (which is without warning at any time). So a bunch of “supers” who want to be villainous just act as villains on Earth. SpoilerTechnically there is a warning. For other non Rabbit classes, it's usually around a day or two, or at least a couple of hours if i remember correctly. It's just that Rabbits have a shitty 45 second pre summoning warning. Chapter 31 even shows how another Rabbit class first got summoned while they were taking a bath and didn't even have time to change into proper clothes. As always, i must declare that my reading comprehension is worse than a 2 year old toddler so correct me if i misunderstood the comment Spoilerthere is a purpose but its a bit spoilerly-- The superpowers were given by the aliens in order to increase the magic wielding people against a corruption while at the same time while giving magic the system fixes and seals the thing which can lead to the corruption and mutation into chaos energy. Now this threat isnt so serious anymore so the new planets are allowed to do whatever they want as long as they are willing to be summoned in emergencies or as employement, (for which they get paid) so it isnt really a slavery but at the same time there are no takebacks Any poineers? Then I see and evaluate.Obs: Don't forget to downvote me ??(? ??? ??? ??? ?)??

It's basically a beta male + harem + fantasy + transmigration. In general, the protagonist is so dense that it's funny. Yes, just funny. At first you get annoyed with him, but if you endure it for 2-3 volumes, you just laugh at the ret*rd. Well, at some point the narration alluded to some past events that made him subconsciously reject all possibilities that someone may like him, etc., but he's still so very dense he should be capable of using black hole attacks. The explanation doesn't fully cover this, so the protagonist isn't really excused all that much.Other than that, the protagonist is okay at first glance, but annoying in the long run. He's a goody-two-shoes, and it's especially annoying when he interacts with some female characters: they're gonna act like a stuck-up b*tch, and he's going to laugh foolishly and let them step all over him or something. There's literally only one chick that's excused for acting like this because she's mental (literally, schizophrenia and more), but the rest is just annoying together with the even more annoying protagonist Dense AND Naive protagonist? Read more Ezekiel recognized early in life that he didn’t want to follow in his parent’s footsteps and spend the rest of his days as a mere farmer. No, his eyes are set on a grander stage, a place where tales of monster hunters, mighty generals, and benevolent heroes hold court — A world of Magic and mysteries. One day, the opportunity he had been waiting for arrives. Without a second thought, Ezekiel throws himself headfirst into the adventure. However, not everything turns out to be as magical as he had dreamt it to be…THIS IS A SLOW BURN FANTASY PROGRESSION LITRPG STORY:Even though you are not going to see blue boxes from chapter one, I guarantee you that this IS a LitRPG story. This is, however, NOT a pure «game world»! Instead, I have tried to integrate the interface elements of a LitRPG into a world with a very thought-out magic & power system, which will be explored over the course of the first book. This world doesn’t work like a game, where you can put '5 points in strength' and the body somehow changes magically into a stronger version of itself. It might take a couple of chapters for the world and magic to start to make sense, but I feel like a power system built on solid principles is a lot more rewarding in the long run (…and more IMMERSIVE!).RELEASE SCHEDULE:Regular release Schedule: 3 Chapters a week; Mo, We, Fr. Collapse Game Elements, Urban, Dungeons, Wars, Handsome Male Lead, High Fantasy, Sword And Magic, Male Protagonist, Mythology, Age Progression, Ruling Class, Strategist, Overpowered Protagonist, Military, Weak to Strong, Academy, Accelerated Growth, Adventurers, Army Building, Battle Academy, Beastkin, Blood Manipulation, Bullying, Character Growth, Clever Protagonist, Conspiracies, Death of Loved Ones, Determined Protagonist, Discrimination, Dragons, Magic, Mind Break, Race Change, Skill Creation, Slaves, Spatial Manipulation, Subtle Romance, LitRPG Is it worth reading? Sure. However, this is just a wishful story or a "fairy tail". This isn't really a cultivation LN. Things happen because they author says they happen not really due to rules of common sense or rules of cultivation and levels of power, they just "are". This is like a bedtime story you tell at bedtime.... It doesn't go very deep into the cultivation nor does i go deep into how the magic works. It has some depth into how magic works, but at the same time it seems to be completely ignored and at times you really wonder if that was even a spell or just the author claiming it's a spell. The MC goes up against monsters and the author never tells you what their power level is. Then the MC goes into a dungeon like place (old hidden ruins) that have all these monsters in there that should probably be powerful, but once again no power levels are ever mentioned, yet the very weak MC kills them without issues....SpoilerIn the old hidden ruins they find out that they were the ruins of a very advanced civilisation that specialized in mind magic, one of the tree magics the MC has a specialty in. All the knowledge of mind magic is horded away by the emperor and his family of mind mages and they don't allow other mind mages to really advance in real mind magic. So the MC decides to destroy EVERYTHING because the ruins old residence did a large amount of their research on unethical ways to use mind magic. The MC did not spend time searching for mind magic teachings and spells and training in the ruins at all.... No one outside of this crappy countries emperor has any real knowledge of mind magic and it's spells and they won't teach anyone that information nor their spells. Lets just destroy all of this FREE knowledge and not learn stuff that even the emperor of this crappy country probably doesn't know.. He doesn't have to use the stuff he finds to be unethical. There is so much more there than this unethical knowledge, but he just goes ahead and destroys it all..... This MC is stupid... Great story. Before listening to the reviews saying it's bad, at least read the first 30 chapters and then make your decision. All I can say is that this is a fantastic novel, I wish I had a better word, because the charm of this novel is wonderful, in the final chapter of 'B3' I could only shiver with excitement And anxiety, mark my words, it's going to be one of the soap operas that your mind won't have a choice in if you don't follow it, it may seem silly at first, but the more you go on, the more eager you are to see what the Initially the storyline is ok....but it become bad, after the story is told in third person point of view it lacks character interaction it is all in narrative and spell formula is lacking, it says inscribed/inscription correct me if I'm wrong, inscribing the core with a spell is the way to breakthrough to become a True mage but what should be inscribed, there is nothing should they just inscribed intentions or inscribed geometric formula of the spell, runes, or letters....nah...it just so lacking . If you want for a pastime reading waiting for updates, then I recommend this novel but for serious Nah....just skip this one story started out ok but it got freaking stupid later on Novel seems to have some sort of weird usage of words that seems a bit off, not much character development honestly When I wrote this review I was in chapter 44 SpoilerI have to say the author should stop calling these abilities of his spells, because there is no weaving of mana, no spell construct no manipulation of magic in anyway even the first two "spells" its was the same he should just call it an ability or skill matter of fact they should just give the MC a system because the way he is learning his spells is the same way people other novels with system get and level their skills by repeatedly doing the same thing till he gets a system message the only thing that's kind of unique nd is cool is the engraving of the "spell" in their core buts still I'm not happy... for that I'll give it a 2/5 Agreed. These "spells" don't even seem to be spells or magic in the normal sense of magic spells. As you said there never seems to be any weaving of magic or mana. The things that the author does is more like very limit or singular use of LAWS that you get in cultivation LNs. It is very oddly written. It seems more like a wishful story or a "fairy tail" you would tell at bedtime, than a magic/cultivation LN... Really I really enjoy this novel, it's one of my favorites on the Royal Road and every Monday, Wednesday and Friday I'm always on time to read the new chapters. My comment is not a recommendation but I urge you to read this book. The author is a good friend of mine and he does illustrations of each character and they're pretty descriptive. Everyone who says that it sucks try at least to read half of the present chapters 2.5/5What can i say? It's forced. The characters are forced, not smart or intelligent. In the empire that mc is, elemental mages (fire, water, earth and wind) are more valuable, only because they are the majority and have further developed their techniques.Minor spoiler cap 5 where mc awakened / discovered your elements.Elements: SpoilerBlood, Mind and SpaceYeah, after of you know the elements, know that happens? MC is treated like crap and starts the famous bullying ARC. Anyone knows that the elements of mc are strong and have countless possibilities, but still, the author wants to make the ARC of bullying in his story and tries to give unconvincing reasons for mc to be treated like this.I don't know if the novel gets better later on, but I can't get past the beginning of it. Wdym forced and unconvincing? There are plenty or reasons why Mc gets shunned and bullied and people don't think his elements are good. To start the elements he uses are employed by enemies of the empire and the earth, wind, fire, and water clans actively make it so that other elements are shunned and those with strong bloodlines of other elements are killed so they don't form their own great clans. Wdym " Anyone knows that the elements of Mc are strong and have countless possibilities"? No, not everyone in the setting knows that. You and I might know that his elements are strong with our modern day knowledge and knowledge of other novels and the fact that Mc is going to become strong in the future but in the setting the people don't know for very obvious reasons. Not just that but having a tri or dual affinity is usually a bad thing in the setting, and in the setting they haven't perfected knowledge of magic. All of his elements have limiting factors. One is strictly controlled by the royal faction and barely anything is taught about it, another is used by an enemy empire and spells aren't taught for it in the empire and it is also shunned because it is used by the enemies who are at war with the empire (his teacher at the acadmy literally treats it like a curse to have the element), and the other is expensive and not strong at lower levels as its easily counterable. Not just that but he is a commoner, with a tri affinity which is also looked down on, and only has elements that are looked down on. They all seem rather convincing reasons for the bulling and fit the setting of the story. Ok, I understand you, but I have other opinions."people don't think his elements are good" - Friend, the mc had element Mind (same of King and your royal faction), no good? no strong?- Second element Blood, element used by an enemy empire, really no strong? It's impossible for the enemy empire not have others elements and only Blood, like earth, wind, fire and water are basic elements. Other point, if it's your enemy main element, you need study and understand all yours skills or abilities to win wars, and not ostracize all peoples in your empire who has this element.- Element space no good? Ok, here you might be right that i know with modern knowledge, but again, like a new element, need to be studied and understand its possibilities."having a tri or dual affinity is usually a bad thing in the setting"- as far as i read, only 2 problems that are time to train all elements and money. Not big issues for me. mind- no good? no strong? yes because the imperial family want it to be no good no strong for anybody other than them and he can do nothing about it.blood- no good? no strong?- yes because the empire dont care about it. It knows how to deal with not how to use it.space- no good? no strong?- you figured out the problem yoursef.his situation is:he went to agriculture school in uganda but the only thing he can learn is rocket science psychology and playing rugby and he must learn all three of this subjects that they dont teach at the same time, and everybody in that school hates rugby players Congratulations friend! You have succefully ignored one of the first plot points used by the author!Yes, the discrimination based on cores is cliche as hell, true. But the author makes a whole construction of the why, how it came to be, and the merits and disadvantageof the structure based on the 4 elements. And the two main reasons for the bulling were quite simple too:First, he is a commoner-born. Second, he uses a 'secondary' element as main (Blood) and one used by one of their enemy nationsSpoilerMain Advantages of the 4 'Main/Primary' Elements:-More spells created-Easy to find resources (element/energy stones are created naturaly in a respective environment. Ocean/Lake produces water stone and such)-More definined personalities (it was latter theorised and almost confirmed to influence the attribute of the core)-Existent structure (the main elemental families of the Empire already have their respective places in their nation. Army, intelligence, defence, and more, making easier for people to find their path)Main Disadvantage:-Limited fighting style due to the existent structure and heritage-Too used in dealing with their fellow 4 elements, causing a glaring hole in the training of future soldiers/powerhouses (except for the elements used by the nations currently/formerly in war, like the Light/Darkness/Blood elements)-Lack of actual development in many fields unrelated to war due to the fixation with what they already have (funnily enough, this blocks them from improving their military as many things made for/by civilians may as well spark a whole change in technology)While the plot point is VERY cliche, I ended up quite impressioned with how well the author developed it as the world expanded. Rubbish Amazing review

I already felt highly suspicious with the quality of the writing when it first came out. It doesn't look like a writing that fits a webnovel; It's more of those published ones, every chapter was opened with a highly organized intro, Author already develop his own style of describing things... there're always 3, how it felt, how it sounds, and how it seems.Everything is just so consistent. It felt like Stephen King went undercover and published the book using an unknown name. Dropped at ch106, first half was good but mc character is too emotional/beta to continue for me, very frustrating after reading to many cold blooded Chinese mcs What does he do World building is really tier 1 good, from what I remember the story makes it seem like MC is going to be really special and smart but he suddenly turns emotional and have morals to hold him back. It's fine if he was like that from the beginning or a one off but I endured it for 30ch before it got too much. Honestly it's worth reading just because it was one of the best for the first 50-70 ch That called character development Ends on chapter 162.As many veterans have said, this novel is pretty good in a narratively way. Catches the realistic environment of a apocalyptic situation. The dialogue is very mature. Plot flow is Cinematic in 1st half and rushed in 2nd half. This novel may mildly frustrate newbie readers hence it's recommended for more veterans. Even i was frustrated alot in the 2nd half(Ch80 to 140). But it's ok as I've walked the dao of reading for years. So i take narratives at their purest forms. That's why AVOID if you absolutely hate Dark, TRAGIC PASTS of characters. Every parts of it really screams EXPERIENCED AUTHOR. The characters... how each one resembles actual humans. The interactions... it's basically telling me it's not done by an Author where human interaction is a rarity. The narrations when the approaching a setting and describing it... the easy to understand writing quality plus the humor here and there that's not targeted for kids. Oh my god... this is it. This is the dose of a god damn good novel that I've been looking for in a while. I simply love it...---Reference for Me: Ch. 44 -- Narrations for character development at its finest. Man both of yall so cringe wtf, it makes me not want to read the novel lol Reminds of the bots having a conversation under a youtube video about economics. You can see something is terribly wrong with the first glance. Nah man, The novel is genuinely good. Well it was. Unless the author had idk some kind of problem and decided to end the novel early deciding to rush it. If you like a story of an mc with a wannabe hero complex mentality then I would strongly recommend it to you, as for me it's a NO! NO! NO! what do you mean? The only thing heroic here is mc trying his hardest to save the human race from extinction(which is normal bc he's a human), it's not like the mc made a fuss about all the massacre going around, he didn't even raise his voice when a portion of new york's population died. Exactly. He is just trying to survive while making sure that humanity doesn't go extinct. MC has no hero complex. He is just a responsible dude who is trying his best to survive. He won't go out of his way putting his life at risk to save others No its. Not normal What is not normal? suck my nuts... if u want to read that same one concept? Then just re-read that same one novel. U don't take any variations? Then, suck my nuts with all ur heart clinging tradition like a fcking 80 year old man who will lose all their assets for simply sticking to that same one trick.Time change old man... u don't like new things?? You have the perfect setup for a cool, evil Mc. His character is an evil lich with a group of Overlord-esc NPCs loyal to him and he becomes his character right after turning into a lich by sacrificing an entire cities worth of people (NPCs).Then, the story starts. MC has regressed back to level 1, but is now a lich, and is a white knight type character. He runs away from the super secret hiding spot only his most loyal NPC knew about because he’s worried he will kill him (and because he wants a new start separated from his actions). He feels terrible about killing people, and goes out of his way to avoid using his dark magic (because dark magic is bad). He makes a monster to guard his phylactory, and then says that’s the last time he’ll use it.Now, if the system was interesting, all that could have been okay. But it’s not. It doesn’t really make sense. Pre level 20 Mc with the aid of an NPC priest takes on a super high level dungeon and takes out the boss. It’s an uninteresting, uninspired level system that in no way makes up for the rest of the stories problems. It is well-written, grammatically correct and no spelling mistakes or odd sentence choices. Yep. I found it too boring to continue past 40. You get the play by play of every little action mc takes in scenes and it just gets grating after a while. The mindscape is neat, really feels like the story should have focused around that more instead. Ahh, another book published by royalroad, I feel like this book will be especially good with that character growth tag and no naive tag, glad to get that off my chest. Read more Reincarnated as a child in a new world a mild mannered programmer, named Sage, finds himself struggling to survive. The road to immortality is paved with danger, treasure, and conflict. This mystical eastern world is filled with Demonic Beasts, Treacherous Cultivators, and Extraordinary Legacies.Follow Sage on his journey to adapt to this new world, and find out if he can overcome the limitations of body, mind, and soul. Will he rise to the occasion and become a hero? Or maybe he’ll turn to the dark side and end up a villain?…Molting the Mortal Coil is more of a slower paced journey. It’s not about endless battles and conquering the next bad guy who spits on the main characters shoes or sends him a funny look. There’s also not a treadmill of tournaments or love interests. It’s more of a slower burn with lots of, and hopefully not too much, world building. It’s still supposed to be stuffed with action, but that won’t pick up for a while since we start with a weakling. The first 30 chapters have a lot of time-skipping, but stay with me it gets better. I plan to re-write and add more to the first 30 in the future, but if you can push through I feel it gets much more fun after!***Updates will be weekly. If you want to see more chapters, check out my Patreon (button at the bottom of every chapter)! Thanks everyone! Collapse Male Protagonist, Non-human Protagonist, Cultivation, Age Progression, Reincarnation, Character Growth, Eastern Setting, Immortals, Modern Knowledge, Slow Growth at Start, Slow Cultivation, Weak to Strong, Monsters, Demons, Evil Organizations the MC starts off normal enough, but he slowly starts to degrade into a furry and a weird one at that.-side note his future wifes are also lowkey animal lover's if you know you know This novel may have had a good start, but I really don't recommend it. It falls off super hard and sticks to the same repeat pattern of loss, slight rebuild before loss again. Rating does not reflect the book. Its definitely wayyy better then the rating though not a top tier novel 1.6 holy shit, I mean I know I shouldn't judge a novel so soon just cause of low ratings but man... Even netorare is getting better rating than this... I've actually seen a NTR which is above 3 star. I think it was called 6 times a day. Not sure if it's any good though This is nice, but the author tends to half follow the same pattern for a long time, MC gets betrayed time and time again, but atleast it can be somewhat entertaining. At some point he learns his lesson and over prepares for everything. There are also a lot of technical details the the author just throws in there that might seem important, and they sorta are, but they can be summarised and the idea could still be conveyed properly. It is a nice novel and I do recommend giving it a read, you just have to endure the time skip party in the beginning and get used to detailed explanations for how things work and where his idea came from i see that most people seem to hate this novel but its quite good imothis novel is well..novel in the sense that it is different from the usual cookie cutter xianxiamc isnt all that great in terms of talent and personalityhis plans dont work out most of the time eitherhe is genuinely average/below average in all facets but there is a common theme of a desperate struggle throughout the novelalthough he is as massively lucky sometimes as he is unlucky so be prepared to see a load of shit happen to him but he struggles through it somehowall these factors make for a pretty interesting read although i would recommend just breezing over some boring bits (some scenes are kinda lengthy) without paying much attention.also do keep in mind it would probably be best to not treat this as a self insert type novel cause that would just make it a very frustrating read.id say this is worth a 6 or a 7/10 goes completely to shit after around 750+chsits good until then though This novel is super frustrating. The MC is betrayed all the time and suffers nonstop setbacks and losses. The time skips are brutal - for example when he transmigrates into a child he starts at like 7 years old and by chapter 31 he is in his 50s. He has like 6 different groups/people he needs to get vengence on but still hasn't managed any as of chapter 351. The author has a bad habit of summarizing stuff that really should have been organically shown. Whenever the MC gets established somewhere or starts building wealth he winds up either betrayed or on the run and forced to start over from scratch. Then he winds up getting lucky and rebuilding fast only to start the cycle over again. His cultivation method is all over the place with power ups being random. He is a jack of all trades and master of none. No decent romance or really interesting side characters either. MC is wishy-washy and "goes with the flow" way too often. MC often squanders opportunities to become stronger and there is no catharsis because it's only dumb luck that keeps him going. Honestly it's by no means the worst thing I've read but I just can't handle such a lame MC. TL;DR MC is dumb Boi who never learns. 3/10 would not recommend. Can u recommend me something? Absolute Sword Sense. Anything by "Toika"; "Everyone else is a returnee", "I reincarnated for nothing", "infinite competitive dungeon society", "never die extra" to name a few. All well written and interesting stories that don't overstay their welcome and end. Not perfect and MCs are similar if you read all his stories but I like them. Reincarnated as a child in a new world a mild mannered programmer, named Sage, finds himself struggling to survive. When your parents name you 'Sage'.Plot twist:SpoilerYour parents are japanese hmm think i read this in the past.forget it... One of the top reviews from RR. I was enjoying the earlier chapters, but after reading this reviews, not so much anymore. First off. There is nothing wrong artistically with this story. Nearly all of my critiques are subjective. And, to the author (because this review is not for you, but for potential readers) stick with it, you've done a lot of work and I commend it!!!!!!! Please don't take my review personally (or any review) because everything written can be rewritten, edited, fixed, etc. Please do fix any plotholes readers point out and feel free to write us back if we step over the line. In our story, the main character was a lowly programming drone, who iniplicably died and was reincarnated by a powerful entity on a cultivation world. He has access to sect resources, stumbles across several ancient inheritances, is gifted the uber-storage-ring-of-AWESOMENESS... but never really demonstrates much interest in (1) cultivation or (2) martial arts or (3) enjoying life.Given that the power in his world is based on physical might and martial prowess and he has had several near-death experiences, our intrepid MC inexplicably stays true to his pocket protector and insect collection, marching forward decade-after-decade to create theaters, resort hotels, and plumbing manufacturing. (Did I mention as a 60-year-old virgin, tasked by his ghostly ancestors to make babies and rebuild the sect, GIVES AWAY a treasure that can near-instantly seduce anyone near it... so no-harem is a virtual certainty in this story.)Grammar: Pretty good, no complaints; near full marks. (This never figures into my overall ratings unless it is really bad.)Style Score: Exciting as plain oatmeal. Basic wuxia (xianxia/fantasy) setting, but the main character doesn't seem interested in cultivation, so the genre and setting are 90% wasted. What is the point of a fantasy story where the main character never fights, is totally weaker than everyone around him, is a doormat for 200+ chapters, and spends his life collecting and raising bugs? I honestly want to kick sand in his face and tell him to do my homework...Potential love interests are introduced and ignored or discarded. Story pace is too danged slow, despite the author skipping years and/or decades at a time, and lacks direction. Story Score: Very infrequent action sequences. Unique/weird main character doing uninteresting things in a potentially interesting world. Lots of discussion on the merits of plumbing and how he wishes he could recreate rubber and other "modern conveniences"; this isn't a real cultivation story (at least a couple hundred chapters in).Character: Stupid. Cowardly. Waste of opportunities. I honestly look forward to him dying, because at least there is a bit of action when it happens. Middling cultivation prowess to start, plus he is coward and non-risk taker. Not stupid, but quite the idiot, since he seems to be missing the point of his circumstances. SpoilerMC figures out how to essentially live forever by creating clones and moving his consciousness, but who cares... Now he gets to do dull stuff longer, and can play with bugs rather than needing to ever be proactive, make good life decisions, or become strong. He can just "do over" when they stomp his face and he can rebirth as his douche self again. This guy has already died, a couple times, because he was messing with wierd stuff, is upsetting the status quo and powerful people or groups, and is making himself too wealthy to not kill. He knows that even his OWN SECT will probably kill him because of the dumb crud he keeps doing instead of cultivating, BUT HE JUST WONT STOP!If he'd putt effort into focusing on cultivation he'd likely be a real powerhouse. As I noted earlier magic treasures fell into his face, times five, and he now autocultivates. He has collected several hundred high-level techniques but has only bothered to learn a couple; he hasn't bothered to practice with any weapons, doesn't box or use fist techniques, uses only one low-level movement technique. He collects and makes super powerful weapons, apparently excited at their potential, but makes zero effort to train in any of them; he barely learns "paddle waving" to wield a large stick and occasionally clubs things inexpertly. I think he also has slight skill with a knife on a rope; very beginner level skill though. All the while living in a martial arts sect with roommates who are powerhouses and become generals. He is really good at training bugs; apparently insects can beat the crap out of people in this world... so... Go bugs.It is simply painful to see him wasting a magical storage ring that contains a world; he uses to to keep his lunch fresh, and store crafting materials and unused combat gear. He did store pills and cuktivation treasures there, but he ACCIDENTALLY cultivated with them (because legendary treasures often fall from the heavens into his pocket, and then autocultivate on his behalf... Three times.. In the first couple hundred chapters this has happened). ............................................But, he is apparently distracted by creating conveniences and studying a taboo noncombat skillset for reasons? He needs money (no),He cares about the people (no),His sect wants him to experiment (no),He wants to personally immerse himself in these comforts (no),He can (possibly)He likes to tinker (yes)He has poor survival instincts (Demonstrably so.). In his defense...Spoiler... he does create a weak clone army of idiot squid-face insect mercenaries, but they are numerous (this hasn't added any excitement yet, nor do I see how it is going to help our character in the near or long-run).Did I mention he discovered that his sect is already aware of and has access to the base of a highly advanced race of interstellar cultivators who probably already know how to do all the stuff he is trying to recreate, and he can't find out about them unless he cultivates. ... so... obviously he isn't going to cultivate. .... lets just stick with insect breeding and steam engines... yeah............................................. It is unclear if the character has any goals other than "lets see if I can do this very technical and difficult thing" (His ancestors are still waiting for him to procreate, the sole task he has ever been given in the story, but nope, 100 years later and still a virgin; they are likely wishing they could die a second time, out of shame; the holy sword is most definitely broken... or maybe he simply likes men?)So, I'm going to keep reading, in the hopes that somebody kicks the MC/author in the head and fixes this story, which has no technical issues. But, once I hit the end of my binge, I'll probably drop this if the character doesn't start moving in a more promising direction. Thank you for sharing this comment. I also don't plan on reading this anymore. That sounds so f#cking terrible I had chills reading it. It is like reading a horror movie review. WoW bro How long did it take to write this? I didn't write it, as I stated at the top of my comment, I took it from its original posting site, Royal Road. I just went and copied the top review from there and posted it here.
