Warlock of Oceans: My Poseidon System

Chapter 130 Solitary Confinement and an Angel

Chapter 130 Solitary Confinement and an Angel

"Ma'am, what shall we do with the boy?" The elf slowly walked towards me before helping me onto my feet. She eyed the two kids who would surely play a large role in the future of this world, debating whether or not to punish them. "Or… both, I guess…"

"Put them both in solitary confinement. I'll have a talk with them… and, don't tell the headmaster. Tell him about the incident but don't tell them about where we're bringing them… I need full confidentiality."

"Yes ma'am."

Her assistants immediately got to work and the entire test was postponed. There would be some kind of make-up test later on since this entire thing was completely and utterly unfair to not only the victims, but also the person who started it all.

"One more chance is all you get… if it happens again… I'll take matters into my own hands."

The sound of the metal door locking behind me resounded through the air tight room. Inside, there were only three chambers of punishment, yet somehow we had filled two. It was a once in a blue moon type of incident.

First, we had a child who manipulated her entire class into hating a kid that they should have never even dared to glare at. With her practically infinite pool of money and great charisma, she was able to get everybody to torture three innocents kids that my brother had been close to. They were in tatters. Mind and body.

If I wasn't there… I-If I wasn't there to stop my brother, she would have been dead. No doubt in my mind. She would have been slaughtered, killed, most likely tortured just like how she indirectly tortured those innocent kids. Just thinking about the consequences that could have occurred… made me so nauseous that I could hardly think straight.

"*sigh*... Hello?" I lightly tapped on the reinforced glass window allowing me to peer into the first steel coffin. It was my brother, wrapped tightly in a strait jacket so strong that if he even twitched a muscle too hard, he would tear his ligaments and tendons to shreds. "Hello~"

There was no response… obviously.

I moved onto the next steel coffin and peered inside. There was nobody there. I mean, these steel coffins were strong, but if the two found out they were next to each other, something bad could have happened. Something really bad. Something really really bad could have occurred right in this very room.

"And you… Miss Evelyn…" I muttered, peering into the next window. Nobody was there, but in just a split second, a face appeared so angry and disheveled with dust and dirt that it didn't even look like a humanoid creature. She had fallen from grace so hard that she looked like some kind of water demon that had crawled its way out of the pits of hell.

"LET ME OUT! DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT MY FAMILY WILL DO TO YOU!? DO YOU FUCKING UNDERSTAND!? THEY WILL KILL YOU! THEY WILL KILL YOU ALL!"

Tup Tup Tup Tup Tup

A string of footsteps echoing through the room I was in walked straight through the door like they had a metaphysical body and then stepped right next to me. Their presence was non-existent, yet somehow, I still felt their cold breath graze against the side of my neck.

"It seems she isn't taking her imprisonment well," The ghost beside me finally spoke up. I turned my head to see a pair of pitch black eyes stare right into my soul while their long white hair was combed neatly below their eyes.

The strands were thin, allowing me to peer even deeper into those eyes of hers. But, as I attempted to look longer, I felt a chill run down my spine, signaling for me to back up for now. So, with full respect, I lowered my head and sat down on the only metal bench in this room.

"C-Cousin-"

"Silence," the young woman ordered, causing the girl to immediately shut her mouth and take quick nervous glances at the pair of emotionless black eyes that stared deep into her. If she wasn't careful, she might just poke a hole through her face. "Now, I've been wondering… how could a thing like you accomplish so much chaos…"

"Th-Thank you-" The pair of cold black eyes didn't even shift, but the young girl still proceeded to shut up and stare at her feet, too nervous to even blink.

"Now, what I was saying before… ah yes… you created so much chaos despite being such a failure to our family. You poor, lonely, little fish… it must have been hard… on your own. Especially in here… with no family to save you, no friends to come to your aid… you're fucked. Simple as that, right?" Her voice was condescending and her eyes still hadn't blinked once upon arriving in this room. Your journey continues at empire

"P-Please… save me- sorry…"

"You want to be saved?" The woman's face finally shifted into something other than that emotionless expression of hers. It was an eerie, twisted, grin. She seemed happy as it seems like she had planned this entire thing… or, most of it at least.

"Y-Yes… please save me."

"Then sell your soul to me," She immediately replied, causing the girl to let out an unsettling look. She had a look on her face where it seems she realized what that meant, but even though she was so desperate, still questioned this idea.

All of a sudden, the first chamber of metal blew open. A hand coated in angelic white feathers gripped the door frame, not only surprising myself, but also the young woman next to me. Her smile only widened as she saw my brother, slowly being coated in feathers, step out of his chamber.

"CYRUS! STOP! I'M JUST TRYING TO HELP YOU! I'M NOT YOUR ENEMY!" I shouted, running towards him while intending to capture him. But, the normal cold expression that he had which had only worsened in this imprisonment was flipped upside down in a sadistic and almost maniacal smile.

"One hundred thousand years. One hundred FUCKING thousand years! And I've finally managed it… I've finally managed to do it. Kekekekekeke…. KAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

My brother was soon enveloped in a cocoon of feathers while I took a step back. The ghostly woman took a step in front of me while summoning a massive scythe. She twirled it around, building up momentum for an initial strike, but…

BOOOOOM

The cocoon of feathers immediately exploded outwards, revealing Cyrus with two large angelic wings sprouting from his back. In his hand was a golden trident, pronged and sharpened at each tip like the hook of a fishing rod.

"Are you… an angel?" I couldn't help but ask as this wasn't my brother. Somebody or something had possessed him and here, I could feel that foreign presence practically beat inside my body. It was almost like a second heart was inside my stomach.

"Yes…"

"What's your name?" I quickly asked, swallowing down a large drop of saliva as the boy opened his mouth, that same maniacal grin plastering itself across his face.

"Satan."

With that one word. That one name. I felt a chill shoot down my entire body. I locked eyes with the boy and as the ghost woman looked back at me, I then met her own somehow excited pitch black eyes. She was excited for the appearance of whatever the fuck this thing claims to be.

"You're lying. Satan is the devil. He breathes, sleeps, and eats hell. He is the living embodiment of hell."

"Oh, I'm but a memory of him. I'm a memory of him before I fell. I knew it would happen, but still, you can't deny the gods have a with words. They made it seem so sweet… so delicious to rule over this place called hell, so I fell from grace… just for them. My undying loyalty, and then… I was caged like a dog. The god of death, Hades had taken control of me… but that's besides the point…"

Don't get me wrong, he was threatening, but he still had the same pressure of my brother. He just took the appearance of this angel and used it against us, almost trying to tame us with sweet words of wisdom.

"Hah… you call yourself an angel…" The ghostly woman muttered in front of me, her threatened posture from before slowly relaxing. "Yeah, right…"
