Chapter 181 Reorganization
Chapter 181 Reorganization
Qin Hao arrived at the meeting room, where several people were already seated.
Kang Youyi, Yu Jie, Yuan Qing, and Liu Man, seeing Qin Hao enter, hurriedly stood up and greeted him, "Mr. Qin."
Qin Hao saw smiles on their faces, "You came early?"
"We were working overtime at the company anyway, so we just came over to wait," Yu Jie said softly.
Soon, the door to the meeting room was opened from the outside, and a middle-aged man wearing glasses walked in.
"Hello, Mr. Qin, I am Meng Zhicheng! Director of Market Planning," Meng Zhicheng said respectfully.
Qin Hao slightly nodded his head, "Hmm, take a seat."
Meng Zhicheng sat next to Kang Youyi, while Qin Hao took the main seat, "Does anyone have anything to report?"
Kang Youyi spoke up, "Mr. Qin, Mr. Meng has made a suggestion; he plans to acquire several duck farms to supply our roasted duck stores' development. This is the detailed proposal Mr. Meng wrote."
After finishing his words, he handed Qin Hao a folder.
Qin Hao took it, skimmed through it in a few minutes, and read the proposal, which detailed the future development of the roasted duck stores.
The proposal was very much in line with Qin Hao's thoughts, acquiring duck farms, building large-scale duck farms, constructing logistics and distribution services, and planning future roasted duck factory production lines to form a complete ecological industrial chain.
The proposal was excellent; Qin Hao looked at Meng Zhicheng, who was also looking at him with a meticulous expression on his face.
Qin Hao gave an affirmative answer, "The proposal is excellent; we can proceed step by step as outlined."
"Thank you for your affirmation, Mr. Qin. I have tried our roasted duck, and the taste is incomparable to any other. That's our biggest advantage. As long as the plan is correct and we develop steadily, our company's future achievements might match those of major roasted duck conglomerates," Meng Zhicheng said.
Qin Hao slightly nodded his head, "Mr. Meng, where were you employed before?"
Meng Zhicheng was momentarily taken aback, then replied, "Mr. Qin, I previously worked as a Director of Marketing at a large multinational supermarket chain."
Qin Hao asked, "The compensation there must have been better, right?"
Meng Zhicheng said somewhat awkwardly, "The salary was about the same, but it was difficult to rise up in the company. There were no Chinese in the senior ranks of the multinational supermarket chain, and I am also from Jiangshan, so when such a promising company emerged back home, I came here."
As they spoke, more people started arriving in the meeting room: the Logistics Director, the Audit Director, Deputy Directors of various departments, heads, and deputy heads.
Seeing Qin Hao there, they remained silent as they sat in the meeting room.
Managers and assistant managers from various stores also slowly arrived.

At two fifty-nine p.m., Tian Yamei, the Legal Affairs Director, arrived out of breath.
"Mr. Qin, I'm not late, am I?" Tian Yamei, seeing so many people in the meeting room, felt a bit embarrassed.
Qin Hao looked at his watch and said, "You're forty seconds early, take a seat."
She quickly sat down next to Yu Jie.
At three o'clock sharp, Qin Hao spoke to Liu Man, "Check who hasn't arrived yet."
Liu Man stood up, took a count, and a few minutes later said to Qin Hao, "Mr. Qin, four people haven't arrived, including the managers of the Peace Store, Unity Store, Qingshan Store, and the Xingfu Store."
Just as Qin Hao was about to speak, the meeting room door was abruptly opened and four people came in, talking and laughing among themselves.
Qin Hao watched them; they showed no sign of awareness and continued acting nonchalantly, then found places to sit down.
Frankly speaking, Qin Hao hadn't been to the company for a long time, and he held no authority here.
Qin Hao said in an even tone, "You four, explain why you are late? The notice was sent this morning, why are you still late?"
One of them laughingly said, "Mr. Qin, I accidentally overslept during the noon break."
"And what about you?" Qin Hao looked at the other three people.
The three of them casually made up some excuses.
Qin Hao sneered coldly, his voice harsh as he questioned, "Do you have any regard for the company's rules and regulations? What do you think this place is? Do you think the company meeting is a game, where you can just be late whenever you want?"
The room fell silent, this being the first time many had seen Qin Hao and also the first time everyone saw him lose his temper.
Qin Hao continued, "From now on, you four are no longer employees of the company. You can go home and continue to sleep."
Everyone's face changed color. Could a store manager be dismissed just like that?
The four didn't expect Qin Hao to be so ruthless, and their faces showed great embarrassment.
Qin Hao spoke in a detached tone, "This is an internal meeting of Jiangshan Roasted Duck Company, and you four may leave now."
The four wanted to say something, but seeing Qin Hao's expression, they didn't speak out, and instead stood up and walked out.
Qin Hao continued, addressing the others, "Don't think too highly of yourselves; the company won't collapse without you.
There are millions of people in Jiangshan who want to work for the company. Similarly, if you leave the company, finding another with such generous terms might be difficult. Therefore, I hope everyone cherishes their positions."
"Who are the deputy managers of those four stores? Stand up."
"Swish, swish"
Four men stood up, and Qin Hao glanced at them and said, "From today, you are the managers of your respective stores. Manage well, the company won't let any employee suffer."
"Thank you, Mr. Qin, for your trust," the four said, somewhat excited.
There was a significant difference between the monthly salary and commission of a deputy manager and a manager.
This new salary system had been implemented, and everyone estimated that a normal store manager could make over twenty thousand a month, whereas deputy managers would make just over ten thousand.
Ordinary employees were paid according to normal performance commissions, with management personnel receiving relatively higher commissions, and higher positions receiving even higher commissions.
Qin Hao started, "I seldom come to the company, but that does not mean I am unaware of what you all do. You all understand what I mean, right?"
He finished speaking and, smiling, glanced around the meeting room.
The expressions on people's faces varied, some flickering, some calm, others puzzled.
Qin Hao asked, "Is the manager of Longquan Store, Guo Feng, present?"
At the mention of his name, Guo Feng's body trembled, and after a moment he stood up. "Chairman, I am here."
Qin Hao asked, "Would you like to tell your glorious deeds yourself, or shall I do it?"
Sweat started forming on Guo Feng's forehead. "Chairman, I don't understand what you mean!" he said.
"Ha, ha, you abused your authority, harassed a female staff member, and when she did not comply, you forced her to leave. Am I right or wrong?" Qin Hao said, his tone growing increasingly intense as he spoke.
Guo Feng's face turned deathly pale, large beads of sweat falling.
Seeing his state, Qin Hao said indifferently, "I have already had someone locate Gao Meimei. The police will be here shortly for an investigation, and you will go with them."
Upon hearing this, Guo Feng's legs weakened. He had thought at worst he would be fired, but now he was facing police custody, how could he not be afraid.
"Chairman, I know I was wrong. Please give me another chance; I will resign voluntarily," begged Guo Feng, not wanting to end up in that place.
Looking at him, Qin Hao saw a pitiable sight, a far cry from the domineering presence he had in store.
Qin Hao replied, "Opportunities are not given by others but earned by oneself. The company has its rules and regulations, and since you violated them, you should be prepared for the consequences."
