Legion-1 looked at them and said, "If this masterpiece can come from our hands, maybe you guys are not so bad."
Legion-7 agreed with a nod. "If we can build something this beautiful, I can tolerate your existence a little better."
Legion-0 is not a world. It is just an object. Anyone can build a world and become a world god. But not many people can build an object like Legion-0.
Legion-0 is both a world forge and a universal artifact. There is only one such object like it in all of the void universe. That object is the corridor of worlds which serves as the backbone of expansion for the void universe.
Now they have replicated that object and improved on it. It is why they are so proud of it even though it is not bringing any benefit to them currently. It is not bringing any benefit because Legion-0 is not a world created from their origin and anchored by their supreme law; it can't make their existence expand and turn them into world gods.
In fact, Legion-0 is currently doing the opposite. Instead of empowering them, it is a burden that is dragging them down. Not only is it so heavy that no one wants to carry it, its creation had made them give up their incomplete universal artifact, their Authority of the Void Universe, the Crown of Domination, and the soul sphere.
All of the things they gave up for it is probably why it is so heavy. And with it not empowering them in the slightest, they are no different from ordinary Supreme Origin gods despite possessing it. However, they are still proud and happy to be in possession of it. They are also sure that they won't be the only ones who get to appreciate its ingenuity soon. Even Legion-5, who had been designated to carry Legion-0, said, "I remember when I coined the name Legion for us. We have come a long way since then. Now everyone will get to be Legion."
Legion-8 corrected him, "Idiot, I was the one who coined the name."
Legion-2 said, "You can't be the one. You were not even present back then. You were just a replacement for another clone that died. I coined the word."
Legion-1 berated them, "You're all idiots. I am the one who coined the name Legion. I am the first Legion."
Legion-7 didn't agree. He said, "That can't be right. I was the one who coined the word. I remember this distinctly."
They couldn't agree on who came up with the name because all of them have a piece of each of the previous clones in them. Each of them is the previous clone combined and then divided into twelve parts.
The memories, concepts, abilities, and skills of the previous clones were invested in making each of them. If Legion-7 says he was the original Geraldirah, then he is right to think so. At the very least, no one can convince him otherwise. They didn't stop arguing until they finished sorting out everything they needed for the next step of their plan. These things are fragments of realm hearts. Legion-11 sighed and said, "Let's shelve this argument for the future after we become world gods."
Legion-1 agreed. "Let's do that. We can't just let Legion-3 goof off and have all the fun."
Legion-3 is already becoming a world ender. Even though he is busy with something and taking his time with it, it won't be good for them to delay his progress and theirs for some argument. Besides, they don't know how long their aspect of independence can keep them hidden from their enemies. So they began the long-awaited process of becoming world gods.
They have acquired a lot of information about this process, so they know exactly what to do. They unfolded their origin domain and let it sink below the law matrix.
This is a thing that only supreme origin gods or entities with power near or above the limit of the light side of the void universe can do. They had reached that limit a long time ago. So this was easy for them to do.
It was also easy for them to find their anchor. They were mildly surprised when they realized that their anchor was in their shard of power, not some vague location in their origin. Legion-3, who was far away, "This was not part of what we read."
Legion-6 shrugged. "It is expected since we are not normal."
Legion-4 said, "It should be a good thing. By my estimate, if we use the shards of power as our anchor, it means we won't be subject to a small and fixed portion of our origin like normal world gods."
As they were chatting about it, they were also going through the process of becoming world gods.
Since things were different from how they should be for normal world gods, they didn't know exactly what they should do and were not familiar with the process. So they simply let things take their course. But as things proceeded, the situation continued to deviate from the normal process of becoming world gods. Instead of fusing their existence with the anchor in their origin and using it as a foundation for building their world, their existence fused with the shards of power above their heads. They were effectively swallowed up by the shard of power, but they were conscious throughout the whole process. This meant that they were aware of everything that happened after. It was not only their Supreme law that fused with their anchor. Their spark of power and spark of the soul also fused with the shards of power. This and their unlocked potential meant that all the conditions needed to fully activate their shards of power had been met. There were 12 shards of power in their possession. It was three more than what they acquired the time they created it. But they gained three more through the enhancement of the Supreme law of order during the process of creating their three new clones.
